Gale’s engagement is off because she refuses to leave her thriving business in Ireland to follow Dillon to Scotland. Her family and friends are on the emerald isle. Yet, when Dillon returns with the whole story and asks for her help, she must follow her heart.

Becoming a Solicitor, then partner in the family law firm was never Dillon’s dream. Now it’s his nightmare. Called to Scotland, his father demands he take his rightful place in the firm or be disowned and disinherited. Something is terribly amiss in the firm and family.

During Gale and Dillon’s investigation, they discover the enforcer for the Demon Overlord is also delving into rumors the firm is acting illegally. Magic has been stolen, someone is being blackmailed, and a member of the Witch’s council is corrupt. If Gale and Dillon want a life together in Ireland, they have to unearth secrets threatening to destroy the firm and family in Scotland.

What’s in your character’s pockets, backpack, or purse?

What does your character always carry?

Her backpack always has a few healing crystals and herbs, small samples of lotions of her own creation. Soft skin is important and her wand. The backpack is spelled so whatever she needs it will be available to her.

In her pockets she carries protection crystals, a small bag of herbs for health, protection, and luck.

What does your character dislike carrying but has to?

Her ability to cast witchfire at any moment. The spell can be deadly, if necessary and she prefers to do no harm.

Is there an item your character carries for good luck and if so, what is it?

She wears a deep read blood crystal around her neck on a silver chain for protection and good luck.

What does your character carry related to a job or calling?

She owns an apothecary. That’s why she has crystals, herbs, etc with her most times. Never know when you will need them to save a life.

Does your character ever carry things for other people?

(like a mom with toys, etc.) Yes, her crystals and small cloth bags of healing herbs. Never know when you’ll come across a magic disaster. LOL

What does your author always carry?

A weapon and the permit to carry.

What does your author dislike carrying but has to?

Reading glasses.

What does your author carry for luck?

Crystals.

How organized is your author’s backpack / purse?

Very organized. Her backpack has many pockets and each pocket is a place for a specific item.

What does your author prefer to use when it comes to items like backpacks or purses. Always a backpack, leaves her hands free for examining things and the occasional dash of magic. LOL

If your author could buy an item to carry things in and money was no object, what would it be?

I’ve no idea.

What do you wish your author would not make you keep in your pockets?

Crystals, they can become heavy. But I see the need.

What do you wish your author would allow you to keep in your pockets?

Snacks!
