Read Stolen and Seduced by Tricia Schneider @TriciaSchneider #RLFblog #NewRelease #AlienAbductionRomanceFalling in love was never in their plans to escape an alien spaceship in Tricia Schneider’s new sci-fi romance, Her Alien Kiss, within Stolen and Seduced: A Limited Edition Collection of Alien Abduction Romances.

Tricia, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about Her Alien Kiss within Stolen and Seduced: A Limited Edition Collection of Alien Abduction Romances.

Her Alien Kiss by Tricia Schneider

    Genre: Sci-fi Romance

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

Aliens abduct Lena, the daughter of the President of the United Nations of Earth, to blackmail her father into giving them weapons to defeat the deadly warriors ravaging their home planet. Lena is trapped with another prisoner and together they plan a daring escape. But can the enemy of her enemy be her friend? Lena is forced to decide. Trust her father to send rescue or trust the alluring alien captive to help her escape. Can she make it back to Earth alive and with her heart intact?

These sexy aliens will stop at nothing to claim their mates—including abducting them!

When hot, hunky aliens need to find a mate, they know right where to look: Earth. But let’s face it, not all Earth girls are easy. We prefer our guys—even our alien guys—to put in some serious effort. Good thing human men make it easy for them.

Don’t miss your chance to binge-read this burning-hot collection of alien abduction-turned-seduction tales by New York Times, USA Today, and international bestselling authors.

Why did you write this book?

I’ve always loved science fiction movies and television. I’m a fan of shows like Doctor Who, Stargate: SG1, Firefly, and Farscape. And I’m a Star Trek and a Star Wars fan. Yeah, I can’t pick between the two. I love them all for different reasons. What they have in common are aliens! So, I took my love for romance and combined it with my love for science fiction. I tossed it together and came up with Rex and Lena. Rex is an alien and Lena is a human from Earth. They’re both captured by other aliens and must rely on each other to escape. Falling in love was never in their plans.

What is your favorite genre to read?

Romance. Any kind of romance! I need that happily-ever-after that other genre’s don’t always guarantee. Although, I’m a diverse reader and enjoy reading many other genres such as mystery, science fiction and fantasy, I always, always come back to romance.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

Oh, I have a lot, but the first to come to mind is Jane from Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. It’s a gothic romance which is one of my favorite romance genres to read. Both Jane and Mr. Rochester are tormented characters which makes the ending so much sweeter.

What are you working on at the moment?

I always have more than one project going on. I’m working on two paranormal romance books in my Cougar Shifter series. I’m also writing more sci-fi romances in Her Alien Temptation series. I’m bouncing between these series at the moment.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

I have two books releasing this October. The Ghost of Morley Manor is coming out in A Cursed All Hallows Eve Collection. Tempting Benjamin will be part of the Falling for Shifters Romance Collection. And I have some Christmas novellas planned for the holiday season. Also, I have another alien romance that will be part of Alien Embrace coming out next year!

Let’s bare it all and chat about what to wear

First, what is your name and how old are you?

My name is Lara Harper and I’m 35.

What is the time period in which you live?

I live in present-day Australia. My younger sister, Cecily, moved to the Bahamas a few years ago because of a man she met online. I try to visit her there at least once a year. She suggested I needed an island getaway. Time away from the stresses in my life such as dealing with my ex during the divorce, the anger issues of my teenaged son, and working to support myself and my child.

Considering the role you play in society, what is expected for you to wear?

I work in advertising. While I do have an office, I also work from home. When I’m in the office, I wear business-like attire. A nice blouse, skirt and heels. At home, I’m more casual, but I enjoy light, soft fabrics. I often wear sundresses in the summer.

Mending and laundry are chores for anyone. Do you do it or someone else?

My ex-husband was far too busy to do any household chores while we were married. I took care of all of that. After the divorce, my life didn’t change much with chores, but I have a growing business to manage, as well. My teenaged son is starting to help more for which I’m grateful, but I still feel overwhelmed with all the responsibilities life throws at me.

What kind of shoes or boots do you wear?

High heels are my go-to footwear for basically anywhere. Except when I visit the beach. I have a pair of cute sandals that I love to wear when I’m visiting my sister.

When others see you what is their first impression?

Despite my aggressive attitude with my job, I’m a rather shy, reserved type. While the clothes I wear may look expensive, I’m frugal when it comes to shopping. I’m a single mom with a growing son, after all. Still, at first glance, others tend to think of me as wealthy. And because I’d rather read a book than have a conversation with a stranger, they think I’m snobbish, too.

What do you wear to sleep?

I have several soft nighties with beautiful designs. Pretty fabric grabs my attention. Other times, I wear a pair of short shorts and a tank top. Comfort at night is important to help me fall asleep after a stressful day.

What do you wish you didn’t have to wear?

Well, I chose to wear heels on the flight to the island where my sister lives. I mean, I love wearing heels, but I intended to land at an airport not crash on a desert island. I was supposed to be taking a taxi to a 5-star hotel. I should have rummaged through my luggage to find my sandals that first day, but when you’re arguing with a sexy as sin pilot about trying to find a way home, you just don’t think of those things.

Tell us what your author wears when writing about you.

Oh, she’s the opposite of me. She likes to wear stretchy, comfy clothes all day long. If she wasn’t worried about someone stopping by unannounced, she’d probably wear pajamas all day long. Lucky for me, she has friends who check up on her. She disappears far too often into her writing cave. Someone occasionally pops in to see if she’s okay when she disappears from Facebook for a few days.

Is It True: Ice Princess by Tricia Schneider @TriciaSchneider #RLFblog #FantasyRomance

Is It True: Ice Princess by Tricia Schneider @TriciaSchneider #RLFblog #FantasyRomanceWelcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Let’s play Is It True with today’s guest, Tricia Schneider, author of Ice Princess, a fantasy romance. This is a game with yes and no questions. Writers can elaborate on answers as much as they choose.

    Ice Princess by Tricia Schneider

    Genre Fantasy Romance

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

Princess Lily is determined to save her kingdom from the evil influence of the sorcerer in their midst. When she makes her stand, he curses her beloved to turn into a dragon and casts a spell that seals her in a block of ice where she will sleep for all eternity.

Eternity arrives earlier than expected when Rick Stamos tears down a wall to the tavern he’s renovating. He never expects to find a woman encased in ice hidden in his basement. After melting the ice, he’s more surprised when the woman wakes and claims he is her beloved.

Did the spell that kept Lily frozen for so long also curse Rick? Is he really her beloved or a stranger with the same face?

    Is it true:

    this is your first book?

No. This is my sixteenth book published. I have a few more future books scheduled for release. By the end of the year, I’ll be up to twenty.

this book is part of a series?

Yes and no. I didn’t originally write Ice Princess as part of a series, but readers have been asking for more. I’m considering writing other books set in this world.

you lost sleep while writing this book?

Yes. My deadline for this book was approaching fast. I didn’t know if I would make it or not. It was nerve-wracking, but I did it!

you did research for this book?

Yes. The story takes place in England, so I did some research on the setting.

some characters in this book are not human? (pets for example)

Yes. Lily’s beloved is turned into a dragon by an evil sorcerer.

this book has more than one genre?

Yes, if we’re talking subgenres. It’s a romance, no question about that. It could be Fantasy Romance or Paranormal Romance.

you speak more than one language?

Yes. I speak English. Well, since I was born in the USA, I speak American English. I took five years of German in school. I’m not completely fluent, but I managed to get by when I visited Germany several years ago. I enjoy reading books written in German. I can read it better than speak it!

I also began teaching myself and my children sign language. I started learning simple signs when they were babies. It was easier for them to sign what they wanted (thirsty, hungry, etc.) before they learned how to speak. With each baby I had, my older children continued to learn. Again, we’re not completely fluent, but learning it has become handy in some moments. While I worked at the bookstore near my home, a deaf customer came into our store one day. I still remember his smile when I answered him with sign language.

you grew up where you live now?

That’s true. I’ve traveled to 2 countries and visited nearly half of the United States, but I’ve always made my home in Pennsylvania. I currently live in the town directly next to the one where I grew up. I really haven’t moved far.

    you love to read?

Absolutely true! I’ve been an avid reader all my life. I loved books so much I worked in a bookstore for 12 years. And if Waldenbooks hadn’t closed its doors back in 2010, I’d still be working there.

    you are never late?

Not true. I always try to be on time, but it’s a hassle leaving the house with four kids. Inevitably, someone is missing a shoe or something and we all need to search for fifteen minutes before leaving the house. My life is typically chaos!

    you love pizza?

Yes! There’s a pizza shop in my town called Messina’s Pizza that makes the BEST Sicilian pizza! My favorite!

    you love sushi?

    I don’t know. I’ve never had sushi.

    you have a pet?

Yes, I have 2 cats, Cassius and Harley. I found them at different times as stray kittens in my backyard. Or rather, they found me!

  • 5 Easy Questions,  Paranormal

Tricia Schneider author of The Witch’s Kiss @TriciaSchneider #RLFblog #paranormalromance

Tricia Schneider author of The Witch’s Kiss answers five easy
questions to help readers get to know her better.

    Author Bio

Tricia Schneider is an author of paranormal and gothic
romance. Before the supernatural took possession of her pen, she worked for several
years in a Waldenbooks store as Assistant Manager and bookseller. Since the
closing of the bookstore, she now writes full-time while raising her 4 young
children. She lives with her musician husband and 2 neurotic cats in the coal
    country of Pennsylvania
    What’s your favorite down-home
    family style meal?
I’m the fortunate wife of a man who loves to cook. Since I
tend to burn everything I try to create in the kitchen, this situation works
well for us. Marc makes many amazing dishes, but my favorite is grilled salmon
with a baked sweet potato. He also makes delicious meatloaf and lasagna,
    too.
    Describe the perfect vacation.
About 10 years ago, my husband and I visited some friends in
Germany. We fell in love with area so much that we considered moving there.
Since we didn’t get to see everything that was on our list during that trip, my
perfect vacation would be going back there. Hiking trails in the Black Forest
to visit the castles that are nestled in the hills, spending a relaxing day
visiting the Marktplatz while eating an ice cream cone, sipping Hefeweissbier and
people watching at a village café, and walking the cobblestone streets with my
husband’s hand in mine are a few of the things I’d like to do.
    Tell us about your
    favorite toy as a child.
My bicycle. It was something I had wanted for years. When I
was about 9, my grandmother bought one for me. I practiced riding up and down
the driveway every day, falling and scraping my arms and knees (my parents saw
no need for protective pads or helmets back in the ‘80s). Every time I fell,
I’d get right back up and try again. I was so happy when I finally learned how
to ride. I spent countless hours riding my bike every summer for years.
    What are your hobbies?
I like crafts. Cross-stitch and crotchet are my favorite,
usually in the winter while watching hockey games on TV with Marc. I’m also an
amateur genealogist. Researching my family tree has been a hobby of mine since
I was a teenager and first learned from my grandmother that I had American
Indian ancestry. On my search for my native ancestors, I also wanted to
discover where my red hair came from when both of my parents were born with
    dark brown.
    When you read for pleasure,
what kind of books do you choose?
I read anything. Really. If it has words, I’ll read it.
While romance has always been my favorite genre since I was a teen, I also
enjoy reading urban fantasy and classical literature. My favorite authors are
Kelley Armstrong, Gayle Wilson, Julia Quinn, Daphne du Maurier, Jane Austen and
    Charlotte Bronte.
