Allen and Elaine are graduate students in Nebraska, and love
each other very much. Their life should be idyllic, but Elaine’s past includes
rape, neglect, and abuse from those who should’ve loved her–but didn’t,
because from childhood, Elaine identified as transgender.
When Elaine tells Allen right before Christmas, he doesn’t
know what to do. He loves Elaine, loves her soul, has heard about transgender
people before, but didn’t think Elaine was one of them–she looks and acts like
anyone else. Now, she wants to become a man and is going to leave.
He prays for divine intervention, and says he’ll do
anything, just please don’t separate him from Elaine…and gets it.
Now, he’s in Elaine’s body. And she’s in his. They’ll get a
second chance at love.
Why? Because once you find your soulmate, the universe will
do almost anything to keep you together–even change your faces.

A Cowboy’s Heart by J.M. Snyder

Gay/Transgender Historical Erotic Romance
Ranch hand Tommy Prout thinks he’s in love … with his boss,
Hal Bolstrum. Problem is, Hal’s engaged to be married to the ranch owner’s daughter
and, though he knows of Tommy’s crush, he sees it as nothing more than harmless
affection. When payday rolls around and the other cowboys want to ride into town
to check out the girls at the Wildhorse saloon, Tommy tags along to throw off any
suspicion anyone might have about his feelings for his boss. He sure as hell doesn’t
want to spend his money on any of the soiled doves the town has to offer.
At the bar he meets Lila, an enterprising young working girl
who takes a liking to him. When Tommy says he wants to be left alone, Lila suggests
he rest in her room — with the promise they don’t have to actually do anything.
But Lila isn’t like the others, and when she discovers Tommy is more scared of her
than attracted to her feminine charms, she lets him in on a little secret.
Lila’s real name is Stephen Marsh. He lives as a woman, moving
from saloon to saloon, pleasing men for money. He loves men and enjoys his work,
and what others don’t know about what’s under his skirt doesn’t bother him. In all
his years on the prairie, he’s never met someone quite like Tommy. When he discovers
Tommy is sweet on Hal, he suggests teaching the cowboy just how to please a man.
He doesn’t mean to lose his heart to Tommy in the process.
With “Lila” in his life, Tommy begins to dream of someone
softer than Hal, someone pretty when dolled up but still man enough where it counts.
Someone like Lila. As his feelings deepen, can he use Lila’s own teachings to win
the heart he really loves?

The Argento by Joshua Skye

Transgender Paranormal Erotic Romance
Beautiful transgendered Camilla Nicolodi has a lifelong obsession
with eccentric Italian architect Giuseppe Soavi. Since childhood, she fantasized
about the man and his work, dreaming she would meet, fall in love, and marry him
one day. But the naïveté of youth fades into an adult desire to own a piece of his
legacy. As his work was few and far between, most of it long left to ruin, she finds
her wish in an old, rundown slum in New
Considered Soavi’s masterpiece, the Argento is a twenty-story
residential building hidden in bustling, modern-day Manhattan. Neglected for decades, it’s now home
to a festering community of indigents betrayed by contemporary culture to seek pleasures
in otherworldly activities. They’ve turned rooms into gruesome shrines to a dark
and monstrous entity.
Camilla vows to return the Argento to its original splendor.
Spurred by her passion for Soavi and a budding camaraderie with her lawyer, Camilla
undertakes the intimidating mission of bringing the Argento back to life.
But dark things fester in the shadowy halls and gloomy rooms,
an ancient evil has taken up residence in the building, and it has no intention
of being driven out. Cruel, devious, and perverse, the demon seduces trespassers,
becoming all they desire and all they fear. The beast’s evil malevolence knows no
limit, and it will stop at nothing to take back what it calls its own.

we in my Trans by j/j hastain

Lesbian/Transgender Erotic Poetry
it matters to me that you
are a woman
because you define yourself
as a woman
This collection by poet j/j hastain is a personal journey through
gender. Sometimes sensual, sometimes erotic, these poems resonate with love in all
its forms, melding together society’s preconceived notions of “straight”
or “gay” or “lesbian,” “male” or “female,”
“top” or “bottom,” “masculine” or “feminine”
to create a genderqueer landscape where the lines blur and the labels no longer
stick. we in my Trans is at its heart a series of love poems concerning what of
sensation, exists between — whether by way of the rolling folds of desire or in
overlaps with a lover. These are poems that embrace one’s self as much as another.
j/j defines as Trans/genderqueer, which is different than Transgender,
though not at all discounting it. j/j is interested in identity construction via
active documents — utilizing methods that are not at all related to previously
determined models (with binary derived bases). j/j’s work involves embodying, inhabiting,
and populating the body as one would a neoteric space — through ways and methods
that are not related to formerly prescribed shapes that are based in limit.

Sissy Godiva by Mykola Dementiuk

Gay/Transgender Erotic Romance
It’s love at first sight when Vinnie sees Sissy Godiva — who
used to be his high school classmate, Joey. She’s feminine and beautiful in her
fluttery halter tops, tight leggings, and beehive hairdo. Vinnie sees her everywhere
he goes in the Lower East Side that free-love
’60s summer. He’s half in love with her, though he isn’t queer, “no stinking
He tells his neighbor, Mr. Phillips, about her during one of
their afternoon jerk-off sessions. When it turns out Mr. Phillips knows Sissy, Vinnie
invites her over so they can all jerk-off together — just three guys doing what
they have to do, right? No touching. No emotions. Nothing “faggoty.”
But Vinnie finds himself being pulled closer and closer to Sissy,
hanging with her and her trannie friends, visiting the Giddy Up! gay bar with her,
having sex and waking up naked beside her in the East River Park.
Sissy’s mercurial temper doesn’t make her easy to get along with, and Vinnie isn’t
a queer.
Are Vinnie and Sissy meant for each other? How can Vinnie keep
her when everybody in the Lower East Side wants
her? Is he just infatuated — or is he really queer?

JMS Books LLC — An Introduction

First, I want to start things off by thanking Kayelle for inviting

your having us, and as a show of thanks, I would like to offer a special promotional

JMS Books LLC was created in 2010 by J.M. Snyder, a multi-published
best-selling author of M/M erotic romance.
J.M. began her writing career in RPS, or real-person slash, and
will always have a soft spot in her heart for slash fan fiction. By 2000, her fan
fic website had over 5,000 unique daily visitors, and she knew she had found her
niche with gay erotic romance. She decided to make the jump from fan fic to original
slash, and self-published her first novel in 2002.
Unfortunately, at that time, self-publishing didn’t afford the
same opportunities it does to authors today, and J.M. didn’t seem able to reach
as many readers as she had as a fan fic author. Though she learned how to market
her books to stores and readers alike, she was still a far cry from her dream of
one day being a “full time writer.” But in 2006, she started working with
e-publishers who helped get her name out in the M/M community. She quickly learned
the ins and outs of electronic publishing, and through working with a variety of
publishers, discovered what she liked—and what she didn’t.
By 2010, many of her early works were coming out of contract,
and she wanted to retain more of her earnings by self-publishing, which had grown
exponentially from where it had been when she was first starting out. However, a
friend of hers suggested publishing him and a few others in addition to herself.
After looking into the logistics of starting her own publishing company, she took
the plunge in July of that year.
Since then, JMS Books LLC has launched a young adult imprint,
Queerteen Press, and has published over 90 authors in a wide variety of genres.
We release 4 e-books a week, and 3-4 print books a month. Our catalog contains over
590 e-books in a variety of lengths, from flash fiction short stories to 300+ page
super-novels. We have over 100 print books available, including novels, poetry,
nonfiction, and anthologies, and over 20 series that will appeal to a wide range
of audiences.
While we have experimented with many different types of books,
such as poetry, nonfiction, memoirs, thrillers, and literary novels, our heart and
soul remains LGBT romance, whether sweet or erotic. Some of our recent releases
include (click on the link to read an excerpt from each):

The Other Man edited by Paul Alan Fahey

Gay Nonfiction
Who is the other man?
He’s an accident waiting to happen: the skateboarder round the
bend, the smiling barista with the extra hot mocha, the computer geek eager to retool
your mate’s hard drive. He’s a relationship gatecrasher bound by no rules and with
no sense of fair play. Like Caesar, he comes, he sees, he conquers. On the flip
side, you or I can be the other man, charging in and breaking the bonds of a committed
relationship without a thought to the pain and misery inflicted upon the injured
parties. Face it: We’re not all innocent bystanders in other-man scenarios.
The Other Man is an artistic collaboration by and about gay men
and their relationships. If you’ve ever been the other man, had him invade your
life, or are just plain curious about this beguiling, unpredictable and dangerous
creature, then this anthology of personal essays is for you. Twenty-one of our most
acclaimed authors, many Lambda Award winners and finalists, write candidly about
either being the other man, suffering the other man or having their relationships
tested by infidelity. What they tell us is we must take heart, it does get better
and one day our luck is bound to change. We’ll survive the bumps and detours in
our relationships and weather the storms, or resolve to move on. Along the way,
we’ll hope to meet someone new and simpatico, maybe even our long-awaited soul mate.
Life will be good again. Or will it?
Contributors include: Perry Brass, Austin Bunn, Rob Byrnes, Mark

Glen Retief, Jeffrey Ricker, Rodney Ross, Jason Schneiderman, Philip Dean Walker,
and Chuck Willman. Edited by: Paul Alan Fahey.

go to the It Gets Better Project.
