Why did you write this book?
Thank you for asking, Kayelle! We’ve gotten great response from readers for Hunters’ Watch Brigade: Initiation, the first novel in my series. This is the second book and follows Sam and Max’s adventures as they fall in love while fighting Supernatural chaos in New York City.
I don’t like how devices interfere with conversations with people in real life. I wondered what would happen if someone designed a game people played on their phones and it caused all sorts of Supernatural chaos.
I combined my love for scavenger hunts and visiting famous sites in the city of Manhattan to create an adventure readers will love.
I also love the Greek Pantheon, so The Game allowed me to send Samantha up to Mount Olympus to visit her Uncle Zeus and her cousin Artemis along with her father Poseidon. She gets to ride Pegasus, one of my favorite scenes!
What is your favorite genre to read?
I like most genres, but my favorite is Urban Fantasy with strong paranormal romance elements. I like magic in my stories, and a heavy dose of heart thumping romance.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Right now, Cat Crawfield from Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series. And I love her even more when Bones is on the page too.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m happy to say I’m working on Hunters’ Watch Brigade: Betrayal, the third book in my series planned for release later this year with ImaJinn Books.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
My awesome editor Brenda over at ImaJinn books and I are collaborating on a spin-off series with characters from the Hunters’ Watch Brigade. We’ll be picking on the Egyptian Pantheon in those stories.
