    The Best Man by @AuthorNicMorgan #99cents #RLFBlog

Today’s featured book is The Best Man, a novella within the
Wedding Dreams by Nicole Morgan and others.

About The Best Man (Wedding Dreams Boxed Set)

    Genre: Contemporary Romance
    Author: Nicole Morgan, et. al
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
    Avery Foster first met the
charming and irresistible Jackson Parks three years earlier at her best friend’s
wedding. After days of flirting with the sexy best man who made her pulse race
the two embarked on a passionate night unlike any she’d experienced before.
Truly believing that they shared a connection, Avery had been heartbroken when
she woke the next morning to find a note to learn that she had been nothing
more than a one night stand.
Now years later and on a much
needed vacation from her demanding job, Avery is looking forward to the quiet
days of solitude she is sure she’ll find in the mountains of Colorado. What she
doesn’t know is that her matchmaking friends have other plans in store for her.
They’ve arranged for Jackson to join her in hopes the two can rekindle their
romance that fizzled out far too soon.
    Jackson always regretted the way
he had left things with Avery. Older, wiser and in a better place in his life
where he wants something more, Jackson is sure that Avery is what he’s been
looking for all along. He knows he burned a bridge the day he’d walked out on
her, but he refuses to let that be the reason he doesn’t at least try. He’d
been foolish enough to let her go once. He wasn’t about to make that same
    mistake again.
And this time, he won’t let her
    go…

Nicole is a multi-published author of erotic romantic
novels, which more often than not have a suspenseful back story. Erotic romance
mixed with a good old-fashioned whodunit. While she’s written everything from
contemporary to paranormal her leading men will more often than not be wearing
a uniform of some kind. From military to police officers, she has a love for
writing about those who protect and serve.
From her very first novel (which turned into a four book
series) about Navy SEALs to her more recent releases you will be sure to find a
few twists and turns you were not expecting.
Nicole currently lives in the Rocky Mountain region where
she continues to gain support and inspiration from life’s everyday blessings.

Contemporary: The Best Man | Interview @ana_blaze #RLFblog

    The Best Man

Ana Blaze, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. Let’s talk about your book, The Best Man.
    Genre: Contemporary Romance
    Publisher: Entranced Publishing
    Cover artist: Suzannah Safi
    Length: novella
    Heat rating: Spicy
Tagline: Has this wedding planner met her match?
    Blurb:
Beth Chase is too busy planning perfect weddings to worry about the lack of action in her own love life. But if she was looking for a man, she wouldn’t be looking at Colin Pratt. Her boss swears that Best Man Colin is a quiet scholar and science fiction writer who couldn’t possibly cause a fuss at his own brother’s wedding. He’s clearly never met the man in question.
Snarky, sexy and more than a little inebriated, Colin is the final obstacle between Beth and the last perfect wedding she needs to make partner. Of course, when she helps him into a taxi at the end of the night she has no idea that he’s only just begun to poke holes in her professional exterior. Colin might have the skills to seduce a romance professional, but can he convince her that he’s the best man to share her happy ever after?

    Interview

What websites do you visit daily?
I’m really trying to stay on top of all my author-related social media. I’m really excited to talk with readers and meeting fellow writers has been a blast. Aside from that, I check the weather at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration site and have a BBC America New App on my phone.
What do you enjoy most about writing?
You know how you always think of the perfect thing to say after it is too late to be useful? Writing is the solution.
Seriously though, I love being able to find just the right words for my characters to say. I love that they get the chance to be wittier than I ever can be.
If you could choose anyone to be your mentor who would it be?
Jane Espenson. She’s a television writer and she is brilliant.
Do things your family or friends do ever end up in a book?
Absolutely. But I’m not allowed to say which parts. ;)
    Mr Right
What are some jobs you’ve done before (or while) you were a writer?
I’m a teacher. I’ve taught Pre-K, fifth grade and tons of science and environmental camps. I’ve also been a shopgirl, a waitress, a research assistant, supervised storage units, worked the counter at Dunkin Donuts, cleaned at a construction site and led bird watching canoe tours.
What kind of books do you read when taking a break from your own writing?
I read a lot of Urban Fantasy and YA in addition to romance. In general though, I just love books. If a friend recommends it, I’ll give it a read.
What do you think is the future of traditional publishing?
I think e-books are only going to become more popular, though I do hope that physical books don’t disappear entirely, and the rise of e-books is a big opportunity for smaller publishers. I hope it means we get a wider variety of books, because the smaller publishers are a bit more open-minded.
Imagine you get to go on a dream vacation, but you have only one hour to pack and leave, and it starts as soon as you finish this interview. What will you take with you and where will you go?
I always find limiting the number of shoes I bring the most difficult part of packing and it would undoubtedly be this time too. But I’d settle upon a single pair each of boots, flats and heels. (It’s still too cold for sandals.) Then I’d toss in some jeans, tees, a couple of dresses, make-up, my kindle and a phone charger. Finally, I’d grab my husband and be off to London and Wales.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
I love giving presents, love the choosing of them and the wrapping, so I suppose I like Christmas best of all. But Halloween is a close second. Costumes and candy, what’s not to love?
What good book have you read recently?
I cannot stop talking about Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion. I loved it. Mr. Marion is my newest author crush.
If you were a color, what color would you be?
    Turquoise
Please underline which statement is more like you:
“I am a vacation spa because I am laid back and relaxed.”
“I am a ten-countries in ten-days tour vacation, because I do things as fast as possible.”

    Please complete the sentences

I love pizza with mushrooms, lots of mushrooms.
I’m always ready for a cuddle with my husband.
When I’m alone, I talk to my cats. They don’t really answer…yet.
You’d never be able to tell, but I used to have purple hair.
If I had a halo it would be tucked away in a box with my high school yearbooks.
If I could be a student forever I’d blissfully earn a dozen degrees. I love school.
I can never resist a good book because they are better than chocolate and still calorie-free.
