Name: Izzorah Ceeow

Age: 24

Physical description: 5’9″ golden skin, dark hair, green eyes

It’s late, he’s bored. What does he do?

Izzorah is likely to curl up and listen to music, or watch a holovid on his mobile device. He’s a loner. Good reason – he’s an alien, a Kin. He doesn’t mesh well in human society and his catlike eyes, ears, and small fangs make it obvious. Some humans fear Kin, so he’s learned to keep a low profile.

What kind of food would he impulse buy if hungry?

His favorite meal is a steak, but Kin like theirs super rare, and humans usually overcook it. But he’ll eat almost anything when he’s hungry. He’s not a picky eater.

Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.

Izzorah lives in T-shirts and jeans, with comfortable boots. His favorite T-shirt has the logo for the rock group Iron Soul on the front. It’s tattered and stained, but he wears it all the time when it’s clean, and most of the time when it’s not. ;) Although Izzy is the drummer in Kumwhatmay, he doesn’t have anything with the band’s logo. Everytime he buys something, he ends up giving it to a fan.

Does he know how to fix things?

No technical ability at all. Not his strength. At least, not yet.

He tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.

Izzorah was supposed to stick close to his band leader on the way to sign an important five-year contract. But he got distracted by the smell of flowers from his homeworld, and slipped away to find the source. He’s able to focus only within an arm’s length, so he wears an assistive device on one ear that gives him a tone when he asks for directions. He’d turned it off and wasn’t aware he was about to walk into a waist-high wall. He slammed right into it. However, he did discover that the wall was an enclosure for a massive indoor terrarium, and climbed inside it. He couldn’t read the signs warning him to stay out, so he hopped up, and then knelt and scratched in the dirt to smell the soil. It was from his mother’s vast holdings back on his home planet. He was so stunned by this that he didn’t realize until the last minute that his band leader had come up to him. After being yelled at for wandering off (the second time that day), he climbed down and accompanied the band to the signing. But he never got to know how the terrarium had soil from his mother’s land. That will come up in a future book.

How does he act around children he doesn’t know?

He loves little kids and has a way with them. Kin males are the homemakers on Felidae. They stay home with the children and keep house. Females believe males are too undisciplined to control themselves. Males are mostly isolated within their families.

What is he like first thing in the morning?

He used to be hard to wake up, but now that he’s immortal, he has unlimited energy. Even so, he’d still rather snuggle in the morning.

How does he act around people who don’t know what he is?

He’s quiet. Izzorah has the ability to sense emotions in others, and it’s nigh onto impossible to lie to him.

Will he let a worker handle things or do it himself?

Izzorah does things for himself. He wouldn’t dream of asking someone to do anything for him.

Earrings/piercings/tattoos or unadorned skin?

He’s never been brave enough. Now that he’s immortal, nothing would stick. Piercings would heal too fast to be worthwhile.

Personal vehicle or public transport?

Before he met Luc, it was public transport and on foot.

Recycle or toss?

Reuse until it falls apart. He is conscious of the need to be a good steward of what he’s given or earned.
