Why did you write this book?
I was asked to write a book about characters who were devastated by divorce, but picked themselves up and rebuilt their lives. I decided to write a story about how women are empowered when working together, drawing on each other’s strengths and bolstering each other’s weaknesses. I firmly believe that for every problem there is a solution and even at your darkest hour, if you can’t see it, someone who knows you well can. Multiple minds = effective solutions. These four former law school classmates had unique marriages and vastly different break-ups, yet they are all deserving of justice. Justice that sometimes, the courts alone cannot deliver.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I love lawyer and detective fiction in the suspense genre, books like the Alex Cross series by James Patterson or J.D. Robb’s Dallas series. Obviously, I also enjoy romance, but I am starting to lean more toward paranormal stories—shifters, vampires, dragons. There’s just something about wolf shifters!
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Lt. Eve Dallas, a homicide detective in the future, who is married to one hot and very rich Irishman!
What are you working on at the moment?
The third book in the Feisty Lawyers Series, “Cult.”
What books will we see from you in coming months?
In addition to “Cult,” I am working on a new series about a lawyer who just happens to also be a vampire. Sometimes he uses his unique talents for good, other times, he uses them for his own selfish gains. Why did you write this book?
The characters featured in this story—Sheikh Harun Ali and his wife, Marianne Benson–are both lawyers who focus on international law and their practice is devoted to compensating the victims of terrorism. So I was looking for a new hook, something on the horizon that could pose a serious threat to the world and in particular, the United States. I found it in an article on advances in “cloaking” technology or making planes disappear. For years, we have had stealth planes that do not appear on radar, but can be seen in the air if anyone is looking. I wanted to take that a step further: What if someone created a means to actually cloak a plane and hide it from everyone’s view? What if that technology fell into the hands of terrorists? And “Infamy” was born.

How do you take part? It’s easy. All you need to send is the cover, a blurb, and a link to get your book. When you sign up, your confirmation form will have a link to add your book info.
When someone clicks the link you provide, they’ll be taken directly to your site. You’ll have the double opt in that newsletter services require. No worrying about adding a list downloaded from another place. You’ll get subscribers directly. Easy peasy.
There’s a 5th paid spot for $5. It comes with a week-long cover ad spot on the front page (upper right corner). Your free book will also get a pinned spot on the RLF Facebook page, and a cover spot on the RLF #FreeBookFriday Pinterest board.
