Master Me by Sayara St Clair @SayaraStClair #RLFblog #NewRelease #Romance

Sayara St Clair, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your book.

    Master Me

    Genre: Erotic Romance, Contemporary Romance.
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
Trixie Meier, a club submissive who’s tired of being pushed around, has decided she’d rather be on the other end of the whip. She’s set her sights on Xavier Adams—the most enigmatic and unapproachable man in the club. Xavier’s a regular Mr. Darcy. If Mr. Darcy was covered in tattoos, wore black leather, and was built like a Sherman tank.
Xavier has big secrets, and he keeps them behind an impenetrable wall of intimidation he employs to keep everyone at a healthy distance. Everyone but Trixie. The irrepressibly feisty sprite isn’t afraid to get all up in his face, in the worst and best ways. He’s convinced himself she’s far too sweet for the likes of him…just before he starts stalking her.
When he discovers Trixie doesn’t want to submit to him, but master him instead, Xavier’s sure it’s the most ridiculous thing he’s ever heard. A big, scary guy like him, submitting to what has to be the tiniest Mistress known to BDSM kind? Ludicrous.
But Trixie packs a lot of woman in a small package. And Xavier’s about to learn sometimes the old adage is true—the bigger you are, the harder you fall.
Why did you write this book?
There were two characters with cameos in the first two books of The Dante’s Purgatory Series, who became so intriguing to me, that I just had to write their story next. Trixie is a tiny woman with a larger-than-life personality. She has a hysterical sense of humour and is—as she described herself in the book—”approximately three quarters crazy, about seventy-five percent of the time.” I knew matching her up with the big, scary, silent and brooding, Xavier, would lead to extremely interesting things.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Romance. All sorts of romance, eg erotic, paranormal, historical and romantic suspense. An unashamed, incurable romantic—that’s me.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
That’s such a hard question to answer. There are so many characters I’ve admired/fallen in love with over the years. Hmmm…I think I’ll go with one who’s fresh in my mind because I’ve read the book recently. And that is Malkom Slaine from Demon From The Dark by Kresley Cole. He’s a vampire. He’s a demon. He’s the scariest “vemon” around. And he has a heart of gold. LOVE!!
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m working on the second book in my upcoming paranormal (vampire) romance series.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
The first book in my paranormal series will be released in the next couple of months. It’s a hilarious look at the lives of a blood bank scientist and her newbie vampire boyfriend who has serious control issues. A blood bank scientist and a vampire— Is theirs a match made in heaven or hell? We shall see…

If someone told her the same thing now, she would not yell, only nod solemnly. Because that actually happened.
Sayara has a science degree, with majors in both microbiology and biochemistry. Working in the fields of serology and tissue banking, she got to do lots of cool and sometimes slightly weird stuff. She was employed as the manager/buyer for furniture retail stores, where she had a chance to unleash her inner interior decorator. (Interior design is one of her great passions.) And for a time, she taught English to students in Asia. (Hanging about in a roomful of extremely loud, pint-sized humans is not one of her great passions.) She has written: ads for TV, print and radio; real estate brochures; website copy; and a screenplay. Now she’s writing fiction and has discovered it’s her favorite thing to do. She’s also learned that writing sultry romances is so much more fun than writing dry old scientific journal articles. No one has sex in scientific journal articles. Not the ones she wrote anyway.
When not writing, she may be most commonly found in a horizontal position reading, in the kitchen baking, in the garden planting, or somewhere else singing at the top of her lungs. She loves music and is prone to spontaneous bouts of dancing.
With regards to vampires and chocolate: she bites one on a daily basis and has had a lifelong obsession with the other. And she’s not telling which one’s which.

The Heart Teaches Best by MJ Schiller

It's #FreeBookFriday Need some free reads? @mjschiller #RLFblog #FreeBook*This freebook is part of a collection not a series, different characters, different settings. They all center around people with “real” jobs, (teachers, firemen, construction workers, roadies…) unlike my other collections which feature rock stars and royalty. They can be read in any order.*
    He’s the cop…
Cooper Sullivan is the cop in charge of investigating a murder outside of a Los Angeles night club. The famous romance author, Sydney Essex, has been found strangled in the parking lot. When the young officer returns to the scene of the crime the night after the murder, he gets involved in a fight in order to protect a woman, who he realizes afterward, is the victim’s sister. Soon he finds himself torn by his attraction to the irresistible blond teacher, and his need to maintain a professional distance.
    She’s the teacher…
Laney Essex is distraught over her sister’s death, so the high school English teacher returns to the bar where the crime occurred to find answers. To her dismay, she is only left with more questions, many centered on her developing relationship with Cooper Sullivan. Is the pull she’s feeling towards him reciprocated, or is the handsome detective only showing her professional courtesy, or, perhaps, even pity?
…but he’s the one teaching her lessons of the heart.
When Laney receives a threatening phone call from Sydney’s murderer, it quickly becomes evident that the man who killed her sister is after her, too. Can Cooper figure out who the killer is before it’s too late? And if he does solve the case, will it just be another file stamped “CLOSED” in red and locked away in a drawer, or will the sparks that have been flying between the two finally ignite?

#Romance Lives Forever @SayaraStClair @JessicaCale #RLFblogMay 2017 marked the first month on the new WordPress site. Because the feed into Triberr stayed the same, the number of viewers did not decrease. In fact, I linked to a few more tribes that feature the romance genre, which gave RLF an expanded reach and views were up all around. Sincere thanks to Dee Owens at Personalized Marketing Inc for her hard work at making this blog look awesome and work so perfectly.

Three of the top four posts were blog related, including our special RLFblog Day One post titled Discover Authors and Books with RLFblog, RLFblog Moving Day, and the monthly RLF Gems. I did not count them among the top bloggers because all those awards would go to me. I’d like to see the credit go to guests. You are why I do this!

The Top Blogger for this month is Saraya St Clair, who wins a month of free advertising on the blog. Top Blogger of 2016 was Susan V Vaughn, who won a year of free advertising for 2017.

  • Erotic,  Is It True

Is It True: Sayara St Clair @SayaraStClair Hurt Me, Heal Me #RLFblog

Play Is It True with today’s guest Sayara St Clair, author of Hurt Me Heal Me, an Erotic Romance. This is a game in which authors answer yes and no questions. They can elaborate on answers as much as they choose.

First, tell us about your book.

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
After the death of her Master, Caitlin Bennett discovers years of abuse and sadistic cruelty at his hands have made her a slave to pain. To reach her peak, Cait needs the type of extreme agony few responsible Doms are willing to dole out, especially Doms like Paul Nelson. Willing to offer the love she craves, Paul’s nearly perfect—except for his aversion to the whip.

Paul refuses to hurt Cait, instead attempting to recondition her through patience and trust. But the longer Cait suffers from lack of sexual release, the more she’s convinced her mind and body are irrevocably programmed. And time to convince her otherwise is running out. Waiting in the wings is a newbie Dom who’s determined to have Cait for his own…who’s learning the whip just for her.

Caitlin will soon have to choose—the man who can give her what she wants? Or the man who can give her what she needs?

Now, tell us Yes or No for each answer below. Feel free to explain any (or none) of your answers.

    Is it true:

    this is your first book?
    Yes.
this book is part of a series?
Yes, it’s part of the Dante’s Purgatory Series.
you lost sleep while writing this book?
Oh yes, I did indeed. My characters love waking me up at 4.30-5.00 am with fantastic bits of dialogue that I can’t ignore. I think it’s to get back at me for all the trauma I put them through.
you did research for this book?
Yes. I spent a lot of time researching shibari/kinbaku techniques. Sometimes, though, I’d get a bit lost staring at beautiful, evocative photos of people tied up in rope. Oh well, I’m only human.
some characters in this book are not human? (pets for example)
No, they’re all human…well, except for Ivan (Caitlin’s sadistic ex-Master). He’s barely human.
this book has more than one genre?
Yes. It falls into the categories of Erotica as well as Contemporary Romance.
you speak more than one language?
Yes. I learnt Italian at school and I remember some of that. And now, I’m learning to speak Thai.
you grew up where you live now?
No. I was born in Australia, but about eight years ago, I moved to Thailand. Let’s just say, extreme culture shock ensued.
    you love to read?
YES! I’m a voracious little bookworm.
    you are never late?
No. I used to be on time for everything. And now that I have my own family, we are late for every. Single. Thing.
    you love pizza?
Yes. If it has meat/chicken, pineapple and chilli on it, I’m happy. You give me something that’s called seafood in the shape of sticks, I’m gonna get cross.
    you love sushi?
No. I prefer my food cooked to within an inch of its life.
    you have a pet?
Yes, I have fish. I used to have dogs back home, but unfortunately my tiny Thai garden isn’t suitable for puppies. The kind of puppies I like—the ones I used to have—are Rottweilers and Bullmastiffs. They would tear this place up before I could blink!
Where can we find your book online?

Yearn For You by Sayara St Clair @SayaraStClair #RLFblog #Romance

Welcome Sayara St Clair author of Yearn For You, a new
    Erotic Romance.
Why did you write this book?
While I was writing Hurt Me, Heal Me (the first book in the Dante’s Purgatory Series), BDSM club owner, Dante Caffarelli, began speaking to me. He was loud and he was persistent. He’s a Dom, so he tends towards bossiness. He’d arrive at about 4:30-5:00 am and wake me up with fantastic bits of dialogue. And no matter how little sleep you’ve had, Dante turning up in your bedroom in the morning is not something to be ignored.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Romance. And within that broad genre, I love paranormal—vampires, demons or angels only. I’m not interested in things like wood sprites or shapeshifting centipedes. I also like reading erotic romance and historical romance. If someone gave me a story about a Vampire-demon hybrid Dom living in the 1800’s, I’d be so happy. Put him a kilt, stick him on a horse and have him galloping about over the moors, and I’d be in heaven.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
That’s a really hard one for me. There are so many characters I’ve come across who have made an impression on me. Because I can’t decide, I might go with my first fictional love, Mr Rochester from Jane Eyre. Enigmatic, tortured and terribly flawed…need I continue?
What are you working on at the moment?
Right now, I’m working on Master Me, which is book three in the Dante’s Purgatory series. The story is about Xavier—the biggest, baddest guy in the club—and Trixie—the diminutive, yet feisty sub, who’s decided she’d rather be on the other end of the whip. Trixie likes to live on the edge. I’ll give you one guess who she wants to dominate.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
Firstly it will be Master Me. Following that, I plan to release the first book in my paranormal romance series. That is…unless any more Doms start busting into my bedroom at ungodly hours!
Please tell us about your latest book.
    Genre: BDSM, Erotic
    Romance.
    Book heat level (based
    on movie ratings): R
Dante has been Erica’s savior since she was a child, protecting her from others, wiping her tears, making her feel worthy. Until, as the years passed, she began to feel something new…and a girl’s crush became a young woman’s unyielding passion. Though she ran away to Paris after Dante unknowingly broke her heart, even distance couldn’t quell Erica’s desire. Because she knows Dante well, knows what he’s capable of doing for a woman…and knows her submissive needs match Dante’s deep dominance perfectly.
Dante’s in trouble. For years he’s kept his burning ache for his best friend’s sister firmly in check. But now Erica’s back in the States, more gorgeous than ever. Worse, she wants to learn about BDSM—and she’s determined to have Dante as a teacher. He won’t let her near the club he co-owns with her brother—Chris would kill him—but he’ll “train” her at home. When he’s done, Erica will want nothing to do with the lifestyle. And hopefully her crush on Dante will be diminished…for both their sakes.
But Erica proves to be far more resilient that he’d ever dreamed, and Dante’s plan backfires in spectacular fashion, driving her straight into the clutches of someone far worse than another Dom. Someone dangerous, someone from his past…who’s going to make Erica pay for Dante’s sins.
