Kiss Me, Kill Me by Sayara St Clair @SayaraStClair #RLFblog #NewRelease #ParanormalRomanceSayara St Clair, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about Kiss Me, Kill Me.

Kiss Me, Kill Me by Sayara St Clair

    Genre: Paranormal Romance, Romantic Comedy

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

Oh, Universe…how bad dost thou suck? Let me count the ways.

Near demise by molesting dudes in an alleyway.

Near demise by marsupial-induced car crash.

    Near demise by colleague/psycho stalker.

Near demise by rogue vamps in that other alley.

Really, I should have taken my boyfriend up on his offer to turn me. But choosing to endure a liquid diet for all eternity is a weighty proposition. I mean, life hasn’t been all blood and crumpets for Greg since becoming a creature of the night. Then there’s the case of the only other vampire I know, who didn’t exactly take her turning like a champ.

Door Number One: retain my humanity.

    Door Number Two: embrace vampirehood.

Being a scientist, I analyse things. Down to the bone. The sample size of two vampires, combined with the lack of available literature on humanity versus vampirehood, makes it impossible to accumulate any meaningful data upon which to base my decision.

While I’m busy weighing the pros and cons, the universe serves up one more heaping helping of suck–in the form of a formidable opponent determined to freeze me out (literally) and snatch away my man.

This is SO gonna hurt. I should have opted for Door Number Two sooner…

Why did you write this book?

This is the second book in the Blood Kissed series. There was more of Ana and Greg’s story to tell after completion of the first book.

It’s high time Ana stands up to the demon from her past. When I say demon, I mean stepmother. She also has to face new demons–real ones–of the fanged persuasion. And she needs to address this little thing: “To turn or not to turn.” Now that’s a question, isn’t it?

What is your favorite genre to read?

Romance. All the different types of romance.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

At the moment, my favorite is Mal Ericson from Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive series. The guy is off-the-wall crazy, but he’s hilarious and has a good heart. Love him!

What are you working on at the moment?

I’m world building for a brand new series.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

I expect it’ll be a while in the making, but the next book will be a paranormal romantic comedy from the new series. I’ll be venturing into the realm of fantasy. As a writer, I’ve not ventured there before, so I’m looking forward to the new experience.

If someone told a young Sayara St Clair that one day she would be an erotic/paranormal-romance-writing Aussie expat living in Thailand, she would have snort-laughed and yelled, “You. Be. Crazy!”
If someone told her the same thing now, she would not yell, only nod solemnly. Because that actually happened.
Sayara has a science degree, with majors in both microbiology and biochemistry. Working in the fields of serology and tissue banking, she got to do lots of cool and sometimes slightly weird stuff. She was employed as the manager/buyer for furniture retail stores, where she had a chance to unleash her inner interior decorator. (Interior design is one of her great passions.) And for a time, she taught English to students in Asia. (Hanging about in a roomful of extremely loud, pint-sized humans is not one of her great passions.) She has written ads for TV, print and radio; real estate brochures; website copy; and a screenplay. Now she’s writing fiction and has discovered it’s her favorite thing to do. She’s also learned that writing sultry romances is so much more fun than writing dry old scientific journal articles. No one has sex in scientific journal articles. Not the ones she wrote anyway.
When not writing, she may be most commonly found in a horizontal position reading, in the kitchen baking, in the garden planting, or somewhere else singing at the top of her lungs. She loves music and is prone to spontaneous bouts of dancing.
With regards to vampires and chocolate: she bites one on a daily basis and has had a lifelong obsession with the other. And she’s not telling which one’s which.

Sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Coming out and coming of age in the days of AIDS, MTV, Reaganomics, and Just Say No.
Daron Marks is a young guitar player with a dream, make it big like the guys he grew up idolizing in New Jersey–or at least escape his dysfunctional family. He makes it as far as music school in Rhode Island, and the rock clubs of Boston beckon him. But it’s hard to succeed from the closet.
Ziggy Ferias is an art school dropout who dreams of fame. One day he sees a guitarist busking in the park, and his entire vision of his future changes.
A story of how finding one’s self is key to finding love, and loving one’s self is key to loving another.
Winner of the Rose and Bay Award for Crowdfunded Fiction!
“For me, Daron is one of those rare fictional characters that I have a hard time believing does not actually exist on the physical plane. He is just too real. Part of it is that Daron is only a couple of years older than me and the way the 80s are brought to life here reminds me very much of my own coming of age: the musical references, the language, the AIDS scare, the technology, the hair… Most of all, though, it is the fact that Daron is an extremely well written character. He grows and changes and engages.”

Master Me by Sayara St Clair #FreeBookFriday #ReadMaster Me by Sayara St Clair

Trixie Meier, a club submissive who’s tired of being pushed around, has decided she’d rather be on the other end of the whip. She’s set her sights on Xavier Adams—the most enigmatic and unapproachable man in the club. Xavier’s a regular Mr. Darcy. If Mr. Darcy was covered in tattoos, wore black leather, and was built like a Sherman tank.
Xavier has big secrets, and he keeps them behind an impenetrable wall of intimidation he employs to keep everyone at a healthy distance. Everyone but Trixie. The irrepressibly feisty sprite isn’t afraid to get all up in his face, in the worst and best ways. He’s convinced himself she’s far too sweet for the likes of him…just before he starts stalking her.
When he discovers Trixie doesn’t want to submit to him, but master him instead, Xavier’s sure it’s the most ridiculous thing he’s ever heard. A big, scary guy like him, submitting to what has to be the tiniest Mistress known to BDSM kind? Ludicrous.
But Trixie packs a lot of woman in a small package. And Xavier’s about to learn sometimes the old adage is true—the bigger you are, the harder you fall.

Is It True: Master Me by Sayara St Clair @SayaraStClair #RLFblog #RomanceWelcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Let’s play Is It True with today’s guest, Sayara St Clair, author of Master Me, an erotic romance. This is a game with yes and no questions. Writers can elaborate on answers as much as they choose.

Master Me by Sayara St Clair

    Genre: Erotic Romance, Contemporary Romance.
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
Trixie Meier, a club submissive who’s tired of being pushed around, has decided she’d rather be on the other end of the whip. But Trixie packs a lot of woman in a small package. And Xavier’s about to learn sometimes the old adage is true—the bigger you are, the harder you fall.

    Is it true:

    this is your first book?
No. This is actually the fourth book I’ve written.
this book is part of a series?
Yes. It’s the third book in my Dante’s Purgatory Series. I should point out that all my books may be read as standalone novels.
you lost sleep while writing this book?
Oh, yes. Much sleep was lost. My characters have this habit of waking me up at ungodly hours and hitting me with great dialogue. I keep a notepad and pen next to my bed in anticipation of their arrival.
you did research for this book?
Yes. I did a lot of research on the military. I can’t say much more because I don’t do spoilers.
some characters in this book are not human? (pets for example)
My heroine, Trixie, volunteers at an animal shelter. So there are puppies. Lots of gorgeous puppies.
this book has more than one genre?
Yes. It’s contemporary romance and erotic romance.
you speak more than one language?
Kind of. I speak a little bit of Italian and a little bit of Thai. In both those languages I’m skilled at ordering food in restaurants. The rest? Not so much. At least I know when in Italy or Thailand, there’s no chance of me starving.
you grew up where you live now?
No. I grew up in Australia but I live in Thailand now.
    you love to read?
Yes, yes, yes. I am bookworm, hear me roar! Or rather, hear me be exceptionally silent while I have my bookwormy nose in a novel.
    you are never late?
On my own I am never late. When accompanied by my family, I am late for every single thing.
    you love pizza?
Yes. With pineapple. Don’t judge me.
    you love sushi?
    No.
    you have a pet?
Unfortunately, no. I used to have dogs when I lived in Australia. I decided against having dogs in Thailand due to my small garden, as well as the lack of good dog motels around here where I would need to keep them when I have to travel. I tried fish as pets. After losing one lot of koi due to a faulty pump that drained all the water out of the pond, and losing another lot due to a snake in the pond, I gave up that idea. More recently, my indoor fish tank cracked. Water gushed everywhere and there was a mad race to save the fish. This happened twice in the space of two weeks! And I’ve decided the universe is trying to tell me “No more fish.” I’ve listened to the universe and now I am petless.

I’d learned early on in life not to show weakness. Like messy emotions. Shedding tears in front of my family had a similar outcome to busting out of a shark cage wearing blood cologne.
The world hasn’t treated Kayana Castello Branco particularly kindly. So it’s no surprise to her when she literally bumps into her soul mate, only to find he’s already taken. He’s gorgeous, strong, smart, kind—every woman’s ideal guy. Of course he’s unavailable for soul-matey business.
When fate shows pity, putting Greg Morgan in her path a second time, the resulting collision is colossal. Their connection is epic, the stuff of romantic legends, fairy tales, sonnets. They’re like Romeo and Juliet (only, the R-rated version).
But something has happened to Greg. Now, every time he gets near Ana, he gets long and hard…and pointy in the fang area. He doesn’t know whether he wants to kiss her, lick her, do-that-thing-that-rhymes-with-duck her. Or bite and deprive her of every last molecule of haemoglobin.
Loving a newbie vampire with control issues really and truly sucks.
Why did you write this book?
Although this is the fourth book I’ve published, it’s actually the first one I ever wrote. I’ve been an avid paranormal romance reader for a long time and I may have a slight vampire obsession. I mean, it’s so slight it’s barely worth mentioning. *Stares* *Waits* *Squirms* Okay, okay, I’ll admit it—I am TOTALLY obsessed with vamps! So it was inevitable that my first book would be a vampire paranormal romance.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Romance. All sorts of romance, eg erotic, paranormal, historical and romantic suspense. I am an unashamed incurable romantic.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
There are so many characters I’ve admired over the years, that it’s hard to narrow it down to just one. My character of the moment, though, is Daniel Beckett, from a series of books by Dominic Piper. Beckett is worlds apart from the usual romantic hero I fall head over heels for. However, he is mysterious and intriguing. And it is absolutely imperative that I find out more about him.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m working on the second book in the Blood Kissed Series.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
The book mentioned above will released next. Kayana, Greg and their friends will be involved in some extremely complicated and hair-raising situations. Expect much mayhem in the future from me.

(Hanging about in a roomful of extremely loud, pint-sized humans is not one of her great passions.) She has written: ads for TV, print and radio; real estate brochures; website copy; and a screenplay.
