Author Bio
Sandy Wolters is a prolific writer with five other novels to
date. Soul Mates, her steamy time travel romance, won first place in the Paranormal
Romance Guild’s 2013 Reviewer Choice Awards for Paranormal Romance-Novella.
What’s your favorite down-home family style meal?
Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra and
Parker House rolls. Just like mom use to make.
What is your go-to meal when you dine out?
I know this is in direct conflict with my favorite down-home
meal, but I love ordering grilled Mahi Mahi with grilled or steamed vegetables.
You have to eat healthy sometimes, right?
Describe the perfect vacation.
My husband and I have been married for 36 years. We’ve taken
many vacations over the years, some good, some not so good. The best way I can describe
the perfect vacation for us is if we didn’t have any life threatening incidents.
I don’t know why, but we always seem to have something drastic happen when we’re
off enjoying ourselves. Looking back over the years, we’ve had two vacations that
didn’t almost kill us. LOL My daughter’s standard goodbye to my husband is,
“Please don’t kill mom on this trip.”
What are your hobbies?
I love to read. My husband and I also camp whenever we can. We
do it old school with a tent and cook over the campfire. We fish and enjoy catching
crawdaddies so my husband can cook a beautiful gourmet dinner. Yes. That’s right.
My husband does all the cooking when we’re camping! Now you know why I enjoy it
so much. I’m a very lucky woman.
When you read for pleasure, what kind of books do you choose?
I’m a very eclectic reader. I enjoy all sub genres of romance.
I also like police procedurals/crime drama, suspense, mystery, horror – really just
about anything other than sci-fi. I’ve never really developed a taste for that genre.
