Curse of Christmas by Lily Luchesi @LilyLuchesi #RLFblog #NewRelease #ParanormalRomance

Lily, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about Ghosts in the Snow (Curse of Christmas boxed set).

Ghosts in the Snow (Curse of Christmas boxed set) by Lily Luchesi

    Genre paranormal ghost story

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): G

Welcome to the most magical season of all, when hearts are happy…and sometimes devoured. Join these New York Times, USA Today, and international bestselling authors for winter holiday stories of vampires, shapeshifters, witches, and more!

Why did you write this book?

When I was asked to join Curse of Christmas, my first instinct was to write a prequel to my main series, The Paranormal Detectives. I always wanted to write a Victorian gothic romance, and I was able to do that with Ghosts in the Snow.

Veronica and Vincent Cross want to have a joyful first Christmas as a married couple, but when the spirits who guard the house threaten to kill them both, it’s a race against the clock to banish the spirits before Christmas Eve.

What is your favorite genre to read?

    Horror, followed by urban fantasy.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

That’s like asking me to pick a favorite cookie or song. Jane Eyre, Mina Murray, Lestat di Lioncourt, Alexander Sterling, Nicky Sytx, Mr. Crepsley…

What are you working on at the moment?

Currently, I am finishing up Morgana’s Revenge, a YA LGBT+ historical fantasy, which is releasing March 20th in Just A Little Wicked, a boxed set featuring witches, which I am running.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

    The aforementioned Morgana’s Revenge.

Dead Memories, which will be in an untitled PNR/UFR boxed set. It follows my Paranormal Detectives character Angelica Cross as a teenager, attending paranormal summer camp.

Daunting Darkness, coming in July, which is a paranormal cozy mystery following a human named Paige as she becomes a private eye. Eventually, a paranormal murder case comes across her desk, and she has to find the killer before her friend is framed.
Make Me Bad is a slightly sci-fi horror novel coming on Halloween, following half-vampire Finn Lennox as he escapes torture from a sect trying to “make him tick”. He becomes a mortician, then a musician, all the while trying to evade the sect’s agents for two centuries.

Read the series: Wolf at the Door by NJ Walters @njwaltersauthor #RLFblog #PNR #ParanormalRomanceWhat starts out as a freelance article about werewolves turns deadly in NJ Walters’ paranormal romance, A Wolf at the Door. When real-life werewolf Jacque LaForge comes knocking, should Gwendolyn Jones run or let him in?

NJ, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your series.

Wolf at the Door in the Salvation Pack Series

    Genre PNR

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

Gwendolyn Jones is working on an article about werewolves, not that she believes they exist. But there are people out there who do, like the nervous man who slips her a flash drive with information he claims will prove to the word shifters are out there. Gwen starts questioning just what to believe when two very real werewolves come knocking on her cabin door later that night.

Someone has a flash drive with pictures that could endanger his pack, and alpha Jacque LaForge will do whatever it takes to destroy it. But the something deep inside him ignites when he knocks on the door of that “someone”. He didn’t think he’d find a mate, or that when he did, she’d be human. But now that he has Gwen in his arms found Gwen, he knows he has a fight on his hands to protect her from his former vengeful pack who are out to hurt him by any means necessary.

Which book is this in the series?

Wolf at the Door is the first book in the Salvation Pack series.

How many books do you plan for the series?

There are nine books in this series. It’s complete, although I have always toyed with doing an “next generation” spinoff.

    How many books are completed?

There are nine books in total.

What characters are the main stars in your series?

The original Salvation Pack consisted of five male werewolves—Jacque LaForge (alpha), Louis LaForge (Jacque’s brother), Armand LaForge (cousin of Jacque and Louis), Cole Blanchard, and Gator Rollins. These men broke away from their former pack to start their own. Any of them could be alphas of their own pack, but together they are unbeatable. It was only intended to be five books, but when I started writing their world expanded bringing in more characters, including the women they love.

What is the overall theme in this series?

This series is ultimately about love, loyalty, acceptance, and what it means to be a real family.

Please list the series titles below, in any order you prefer.

Read the series: Wolf at the Door by NJ Walters @njwaltersauthor #RLFblog #PNR #ParanormalRomanceEach book in the Salvation Pack series is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order.
    Series Order:
Book #1 Wolf at the Door
Book #2 Wolf in her Bed
Book #3 Wolf on the Run
Book #4 Wolf from the Past
Book #5 Wolf on the Hunt
Book #6 Wolf on a Mission
Book #7 Wolf in his Heart
Book #8 Wolf in her Soul
Book #9 Wolf of Her Own

What did you like best about writing this series?

The characters. I fell in love with the Salvation Pack. I hated for the series to end. It was like leaving behind a group of old and trusted friends.

What other books (not in this series, have you written?)

I’ve written over 100 books over the past 16 years, so too many to lists. Some of my more popular paranormal series are: Forgotten Brotherhood, Hades’ Carnival, Blood of the Drakon, Legacy Series, Spells, Secrets & Seductions, and Dalakis Passion. I also have three sci-fi/futuristic series: Project Alpha trilogy, Marks Mercenaries, and Assassins of Gravas. Contemporary series: Jamesville, Summersville Secrets. The Tapestries series is straight up menage a trois/fantasy. And I have other single-title books, as well as stories in anthologies. I like to write in different genres, but I mostly write paranormal.

Bucket list of Bruce from A Demon's Witch @TenaStetler #RLFblog #ParanormalRomanceA magical adventure between demon overlord & powerful witch bring out the intrigue in this paranormal romance/fantasy by Tena Stetler

Let’s meet Bruce from A Demon’s Witch, a Paranormal Romance by Tena Stetler. Welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about A Demon’s Witch.

A Demon’s Witch by Tena Stetler

    Genre Paranormal Romance

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): PG13

Keeping a lid on all the paranormal beings inhabiting Washington D.C., is a daunting job. Bruce, a six hundred year old demon and the Territory Overlord of the Western Hemisphere, keeps his finger on the pulse of DC’s power players through the activities at his highly successful Wycked Hair Salon. His movie star good looks and body builder physique keeps his dance card full and the rumor mills running. Within these walls, his anonymity is safe, mostly.

Bruce’s world spins out of control when Angelique, a pint size, gorgeous witch, with an attitude breezes through the doors of his salon. She is the younger sister of Tristian, Bruce’s long time trusted enforcer, whose professional skills are second to none. Tristian is furious at the relationship between Bruce and Angelique, a dangerous situation, but something darker awaits them all. Yet undeniable attraction between demon and witch promises to tear apart both their professional and personal worlds.

When someone dies, we say they “kicked the bucket.” Therefore, a list of things that a person wants to accomplish, places to go, situations to experience, and so on have become known as a “Bucket List.”

Age: looks 35 actual age 600 years

    Gender: Male

    Birthplace: Earth

Profession: Demon Overlord of the Western Hemisphere. I own The Wycked Hair Salon in Washington DC & I can style, cut and color hair. Don’t do I much anymore.

    Ethnicity: Demon/Angel

    Species (for scifi/fantasy characters): Demon/Angel

Please provide a physical description of yourself.

Approximately six feet six inches tall,

Chestnut hair with blond streaks, shoulder length with a bit of a wave in it

Muscular with a few battle scars

Rubs his jaw. Guess you’d say I’ve a square jaw and sculptured cheek bones (according to Angie.)

Please tell us a little about yourself.

I’m the Territory Overlord of the Western Hemisphere. From my highly successful Wycked Hair Salon, I keep my finger on the pulse of DC’s power players and their activities. My human appearance is striking (my demon’s appearance is quite different with scales, reddish cast to my skin) and I’ve never lacked for female companions which keeps rumor mills running and my enemies off balance. Within the walls of my salon, my anonymity is safe, mostly.

Who is the significant other in your life? Angelique Shandie. We met when she sashayed into my salon, rain-soaked to the skin, delivering flyers for The Krystal Unicorn, her new age store down the block. The attraction was intense and immediate. Never felt anything like that in my six hundred years. I knew then and there she had to be mine. I had no idea the complications that would ensue.

If you haven’t made a bucket list before, perhaps now would be a good time. Who knows? It might inspire another book. While you’re at it, how about telling us about some of your other favorite things? Here are the questions.

What is your birth order?Bucket list of Bruce from A Demon's Witch @TenaStetler #RLFblog #ParanormalRomance

I am an only child. There’s a very good reason for that.

Tell us about your favorite toy as a child.

He Laughs. Never played with toys, always honed my magic and skills as a warrior. My father insisted.

Describe your favorite food and how it’s prepared.

A porterhouse steak, medium, baked potato loaded, home made rolls, a nice green salad (No onions) and dark chocolate mousse for dessert.

Tell us about your best friend.

Tristian Shandie, he’s my enforcer and unfortunately the big brother of Angie Shandie. That became a tangle and is a story for another time. Tristian has always had my back and I still trust him with my life.

What are two places you would like to visit before you die, and why?

I’ve been to Australia on business once. I’d like to go there for an extended visit. I’m not known there and I think it would be fun for Angie and I. Did you know there are species of creatures (normal not talking about paranormal) found nowhere else in the mortal world? The landscape is awe inspiring. Before I left there, I purchased land down under with a nice ranch house.

Ireland and Scotland, explore all the castles. I’ve been there on business and would like to spend vacation time there with Angie.

Where is a place you would never like to return, and why?

Seventh level of Hell. Tristian and I had to deliver a prisoner, Razar never want to go back.

Who is someone you would like to meet, and why?

Garth Books, Dolly Parton, Bob Seger. I enjoy their music.

Who is someone you would like to avoid, and why?

Ex-girl friends. Angie asked too many questions and I am not the same person since I met her.

If you could time travel to any date, what would it be, and what would you do there? The day Angie’s parents were murdered. She was only twelve years old. I’d attempt to defuse the situation before it got so out of hand or if not possible annihilate the Demons responsible. A little girl deserves to know her parents. And a big brother, only twenty-one years old, shouldn’t have to raise his little sister.

    About Tena Stetler

What was your biggest challenge in writing this book? It was my debut novel. My editor was fantastic. I learned a lot. Besides that Bruce was a difficult multifaceted character to write. I am a panster and he changed course often.

Why did you choose this character for the interview today? I loved the character I created. He was so much fun to write, even though it was challenging. (He’s named after my husband) Do they share characteristics? I’ll never tell. LOL

Are any sequels planned for this book? A Demon’s Witch was the book that started it all. Since it was first published, there’s been four more books in the series and I’ve just turned in the sixth book to my editor. I’ve been extremely lucky with the series popularity!

What would your readers be surprised to learn about you? I spent a few years as a DJ on a popular Rock station in my city.

Effrosyni, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about The Boy on the Bridge.

The Boy on the Bridge by Effrosyni Moschoudi

    Genre paranormal romance novella

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): PG (sweet romance)

A young man determined to protect his girl… A teenage boy offering prophecies… and a series of unexplained events.

Lefteris and his darling girl, Evgenia, live a quiet and happy life together in a mountain village in Zagori, Greece. One day, as Lefteris crosses an old stone bridge, he meets a teenage boy who warns him that Evgenia is in danger and gives him instructions to follow.

Lefteris doubts him, but does as he is told, just in case. The warning turns into reality and the girl is saved, so the next time the boy warns of danger, Lefteris is more willing to listen…

What follows is a series of astounding events as the boy’s prophecies of mortal danger continue, and Lefteris does his best to protect his girl. Now, he considers reverting to his old ways of solving all differences with his fists. Will he allow himself to resort to violence? How does the mysterious boy on the bridge fit in all this? And why does he refuse to meet Evgenia?

    QUICK

Do you write more than one genre? If so, what are they?

My novels are paranormal or fantasy romances. Most are sweet, one of them is clean and wholesome, and there’s also a Christian fantasy among them.

How do you come up with ideas?

My beloved Greek island of Corfu inspires me more than anything else. I was once inspired to write The Raven Witch of Corfu as I swam in the sea there gazing at a mountain – the place where, in the story, the witch has her secret dwelling. Other of my published stories have come to me out of the blue, either while I relaxed on the beach, or in bed in a half-awake state. I never really force myself to come with an idea. I find the best ones come to me unprompted. I get ideas all the time, but I don’t write them down or anything. Experience has shown that the ones worth exploring will persist in my head anyway.

What is the single most important part of writing for you?

Editing. No question about it. For me, a perfectly polished MS is a must. As a reader, I get jolted and put off if I am reading a book that’s full of typos or syntax errors. Or even worse – plot holes… Once these things become repetitive, the joy of reading goes out the window. At that point, I don’t care how good the story is, I’ll stop reading. This is why I am committed to offering my readers high-quality reads and nothing less.

When did you write your first book?

I started writing my first novel, The Necklace of Goddess Athena, when I was a student in Athens University in my early twenties. It was a slow process, until I got my first job upon graduation and then I completely set it aside. Twenty years of work in the corporate world later, I found myself unemployed with loads of free time on my hands. I still thank my lucky stars for the Greek financial crisis back in 2010 as that’s when I was led to discover the joys of creating new worlds out of thin air. I finished the book within one year and kept on writing!

    FUN

Leather or lace? Lace. Leather is uncomfortable. And I am too old for uncomfortable.

    Black or red? Black.

Satin sheets or smooth cotton? Any type of cotton. Flannel is even better.

    Ocean or mountains? Ocean.

City life or country life? Country life forever!

Party life or evening at home? Guess what? You’re talking to the Queen of Cocooning!

Dogs or cats? I love and have had both, but only have two cats at the moment.
