Amy uses Etienne's unexpected arrival to explore the sensual heat pulsing between them. Not easy to do while handling the Landry brothers, a violent confrontation with some humans, a kidnapping, and fleeing a crazed wolf who wants to use her to get back at the Landrys. If she survives, she'll need to confront her feelings for Etienne once and for all.

Why did you write this book?

The original Salvation Pack series was a favorite of mine…and of readers. I couldn't get the children of the original characters out of mind. Like my readers, I wanted to know what happened to them when they grew up. I love the world of the Salvation Pack wolves and was happy to dive right back in.

I had very different stories in mind for these two characters—they had other ideas.

What is your favorite genre to read?

Romance, of course. I read it all—contemporary, romantic suspense, paranormal, historical, and some sci-fi/fantasy. It's such a diverse genre.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

That's such a tough question. I'd have to say, right now, it's Eve Dallas from J.D. Robb's In Death series. I've followed that character for more than 50 books and can't wait for the next one.

What are you working on at the moment?

I'm currently working on book 5 of the Salvation Pack: The Next Generation series. I'll be sorry to have the series finally come to an end.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

There will be more books in the Salvation Pack: The Next Generation series. Two more Forgotten Brotherhood books have been written and contracted and are waiting on edits. As soon as I have release dates from my publishers, I'll post them to my social media.

Why did you write this book?

The original Salvation Pack series was a favorite of mine…and of readers. I couldn't get the children of the original characters out of mind. Like my readers, I wanted to know what happened to them when they grew up. I love the world of the Salvation Pack wolves and was happy to dive right back in. This will be a limited series. I hope readers will find it as satisfying as I do.

What is your favorite genre to read?

Romance, of course. I read all over—contemporary, romantic suspense, paranormal, historical, and some sci-fi/fantasy. It's such a diverse genre.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

That's such a tough question. I'd have to say, right now, it's Eve Dallas from J.D. Robb's In Death series. I've followed that character for 53 books and can't wait for the next one.

What are you working on at the moment?

I'm currently working on a book in the Salvation Pack: The Next Generation series.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

There will be at least two more in the Forgotten Brotherhood series—just signed the contract for those. And there will be four more Salvation Pack: The Next Generation books. No dates yet. I'll post updates to my social media as soon as I have confirmed dates.

Asher is rarely bored—there’s so much to see and do—but he’d likely catch an episode of the Real Housewives of wherever. He loves reality television.

What kind of food would he impulse buy if hungry?

Food is something to be savored and enjoyed. He isn’t likely to impulse buy anything.

Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.

He wears a lot of black—jeans, shirt, boots, and leather coat. Easier to hide bloodstains and is always classic.

Does he know how to fix things?

If it interests him, he’ll learn. Computers are his passion, and he’s one of the best hackers on the planet. Otherwise, he’ll hire someone.

He tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.

As a vampire, he needs blood to survive. Unlike the rest of his kind, he can eat food. When he first learned to cook—thousands of years ago—it didn’t go well. Vampires don’t exactly like fire. He burned more than he ate for the first decade or so. Now he goes out to eat or gets food delivered.

How does he act around children he doesn't know?

He hasn’t spent any time around them. He’s an immortal assassin. Not exactly a great babysitter. Or maybe that makes him perfect for the job.

What is he like first thing in the morning?

The night is Asher’s time to live and roam. He can be out in the day, unlike most of his kind, but he’s not what you’d call a morning person. He’s likely to be in bed or at home working on his computer.

How does he act around people who don't know what he is?

Unlike many immortals, Asher enjoys humans, their lives and the drama that surrounds them. He’s a big people watcher.

Will he let a worker handle things or do it himself?

If he can handle things himself, he does. Trust is a huge issue for him.

Earrings/piercings/tattoos or unadorned skin?

Nope, no piercings or tattoos. Piercings give an opponent something to rip out in a fight. He’s not opposed to tattoos but never settled on one he’d like permanently. Eternity is a very long time.

Personal vehicle or public transport?

Living in New York, public transit is easier. Plus, he can run at preternatural speeds if he needs to get somewhere fast. Or he can catch a ride on top of a transport truck, something he’s done many times before.

Recycle or toss?

Coming from a much earlier time, he’s big into recycling.

What’s your favorite book?…

That’s an impossible question to ask a reader. But I read Amanda Quick’s book Surrender when it first came out in 1990. I was reading mostly historical fiction and historical romance back then. I discovered she was also Jayne Ann Krentz and went looking for those books. It introduced me to Harlequin romances and opened me up to the entire romance genre.

What’s a genre you want to write?…

I’m lucky to be writing in the romance genre, which has so many subgenres. I’ve written contemporary, fantasy, erotic, cowboy, sci-fi, and of course, paranormal romance of all kinds. So far, I’ve written whatever I’ve wanted to.

Best writing advice you ever heard?…

Just write what you love. There are no shortcuts to this business. You have to sit down and write the book, so you better love your characters.

What’s the title and genre of your first book, and where can we find it?

The first book I ever wrote was Discovering Dani, book 1 of my Jamesville series. But my first published book was Annabelle Lee back in 2004. It’s now available as Uncovering Annabelle. You can find both on Amazon.
