A true romantic at heart, Nancy Corrigan is convinced there’s
a knight in shining armor for every woman (or man), but you won’t find damsels in
distress in her stories. She adores pairing alpha heroes with women strong enough
to match them and bring them to their knees. She also enjoys flipping the traditional
roles in romances because her motto is—love and people should never be forced to
conform to anyone’s norm.
She holds a degree in chemistry and has worked in research but
now focuses on ensuring quality. She considers it the perfect outlet for her as
she’s the first to admit she has some OCD tendencies. It carries over into her writing
life too. While engrossed in a novel, she has a habit of forgetting to eat and sleep.
Fortunately, she’s married to her own knight in shining armor who understands her
oddities and loves her anyway. They reside in Pennsylvania with their three children,
dog, snake and guinea pigs. Her other interests include tattoos, animals, classic
cars and all things spooky and sexy.

Sander’s Valley, 1
Young lovers, Kyle and Ronnie, had the world ahead of them at
seventeen. Stubbornness, misunderstanding and a mother’s influence forced them to
forge their own paths. A decade later, neither can find love.
Ronnie always thought it was easier to move on than deal with
the pain and hurt of past mistakes. She made plenty of them, but so did Kyle and
her parents. Kyle knows the moment he touches Ronnie that he still loves her. He
won’t repeat the past and let her leave him a second time.
It takes a tragedy and a secret to reunite them, but their passion
returns in a rush along with regret and guilt. To have love, they’ll have to overcome
their issues—before her mother’s sin takes Ronnie away, once and for all.

Sander’s Valley, 2
Wyn Sander is surprised when his brother Kyle asks him to be
best man at his wedding. Wyn’s even more shocked to learn the woman who later walks
into his garage is Ronnie’s half-sister, Iona. He’s instantly attracted to her.
She’s sophisticated, beautiful, and confident. At least she is until Wyn stands
up. She flinches and a look of terror passes over her face. It bothers him to see.
Luckily, desire replaces it, but it doesn’t stop Wyn’s curiosity. For the first
time in his life, he wants to find out what made Iona fearful and fix it.
Iona can’t believe her luck. The man she lusts after is her new
sister’s soon to be brother-in-law. The kiss they share shatters her, but her attempt
to stop any involvement with him ends up with her agreeing to three dates. She decides
Wyn is unlike any man she’s ever known, and it’s unfortunate she can’t enjoy him.
She isn’t in the market for a boyfriend. All she wants is sex. The only problem
is—she doesn’t think Wyn sees things her way.

Beautiful Mistake by Nancy Corrigan

Nancy Corrigan is a lover of coffee, tattoos, all things spooky

erotic, romantic and fantasy-filled journey of finding a happily-ever-after.
She’s also a wife, mother of three and a chemist with an overactive imagination.

Explore the Royal Pride Series by Nancy Corrigan.

Beautiful Mistake

Lena will do anything to protect the shifter child her family
takes in, even turn herself into bait. Although she knows better than to fall for
a shifter, Devin, the man who captures her, is unlike any she’s ever tangled with.
Their desire is unquenchable and the draw to him is undeniable, but their relationship
is riddled with mistakes and loving him has the potential to destroy her.
After shouldering his twin’s torture, Devin hovers on the verge
of insanity. His life revolves around his family and recovering kidnapped shifter
children. He never thought he’d have a mate or kids of his own until a rescue mission
turns deadly. The beautiful female caught in the crosshairs stirs his mating instincts
and tames his wild nature. Only her confusion over their intense attraction stops
him from finishing their bond, but Devin’s persistent. He’ll convince his stubborn
female that he’s the man she’s been waiting for—one passionate encounter at a time.

Favorite Obsession

Centuries after what should have been a blessing from a goddess,
Mira has gone from the chosen daughter to a woman shamed. She’s found a tentative
peace among her family and the females they’ve chosen to mate. And despite the potentially
fatal consequences, Mira has found the one thing she never thought she’d have—love.
Josh is the only male she’s ever wanted, desired and burned for, and he’s the only
man she can never hope to keep.
Favorite Obsession by Nancy Corrigan
One glance into Mira’s exotic feline eyes and Josh is lost. She’s
everything he never knew he wanted and loving her becomes a passion he can’t deny.
The obstacles keeping them apart seem insurmountable, but Josh knows he’s the man
Mira needs. With every passionate encounter, every stolen touch, his certainty that
he and Mira belong together grows. He’ll defy every shifter decree and fight to
his dying breath to convince those around them of the truth—Mira belongs to him,
mind, body and soul.

Interview with Nancy Corrigan

Why did you write this
book?
I love mythology and have always been fascinated with the Wild
Hunt myth. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a spectral procession of horsemen
and their hounds riding across the night sky. Many versions of the myth imply that
it’s a wild, uncontrolled force that kills everything in its path, but there are
some versions, including the Welsh retelling that offers a different reason—the
race to gather creatures that escaped from the Underworld. For me as a writer, I
read that and my imagination went crazy. Soon after, the riders of the Wild Hunt
series were born—wickedly hot horsemen who protect the humans from the atrocities
of the Unseelie Court.
What is your favorite
genre to read?
Paranormal/fantasy. They’ll always be my favorite. I love the
escape it offers. I lump the two genres together because sometimes it’s hard to
draw the line between them, especially when reading stories about faeries or other
mythological creatures. The Wild Hunt series walks the line between paranormal and
fantasy as it has demons, fairies, creatures of mythology and of course, the Huntsmen
who have an alternate form they can shift into.
What is your favorite
character from fiction (not including your own characters)?
The Vampire Lestat from Anne Rice’s books. I love the depth she
added to his character. Tortured, wicked and still I fell in love with him. The
Vampire Chronicles were the first paranormal books I read and I became engrossed
in the genre afterwards. I couldn’t get enough. Still can’t.
Do you enjoy films and/or
TV shows? Which are your favorites?
I don’t watch much TV, but I do enjoy movies. My tastes lean
toward the action/adventure or horror ones. I need to be engaged or else I’m ready
to head to the bathroom or to get more snacks. Some of my favorites include the
Star Wars movies, Thor, the Lord of the Rings, and any classic slasher movie.
What are you working on
at the moment, and what are we likely to see from you in the coming months?
Later this month, I’ll be kicking off yet another series! Mist
Unveiled will be book 1 of the Elemental Desire series. It’s a mix of science, global
warming and Norse mythology! I’ll also be releasing a contemporary romance later
this year.
Please tell us about your
latest book.
Hunter Betrayed is book 1 of the Wild Hunt series. Reviewers
have compared it to Larissa Ione’s Lord of Deliverance series and Kresley Cole’s
Immortals After Dark series. Hunter Betrayed will kick off the series and trigger
the event that’ll set the riders of the Wild Hunt on a deadly race to save their
souls and the world. Duty has been their constant companion for millions of years,
but in the end it won’t be enough when the future of the world is on their shoulders.
It’ll take a force much stronger than the discipline and stubbornness that have
helped them survive the horrors of their past. It’ll take the love to finally heal
their broken souls.
Tainted from
birth, Harley lives a life cloaked in darkness and temptation. She resists the lure
of her evil legacy by holding the memory of her ghostly savior close. Every night
without him is agony. She fantasizes about him and yearns for his body, but he’s
not the protector or lover she’s envisioned. He’s a Hunter bred to eliminate her
kind. He’s also her only hope of salvation.
Calan, the
leader of the Wild Hunt, was created to protect mankind from the Unseelie Court.
For a millennium, he’s sacrificed to ensure the horrid creatures remain in the Underworld,
but his strength wanes. He must rely on his enemy’s daughter to save him, but he
doesn’t expect the intensity of their lust or love. Her touch calms his wild nature
and ignites his carnal desires. He’ll risk all to save her, but doing so forces
him to make the ultimate sacrifice, one that’ll damn him to suffer forever in his
own living hell.
