Taken from her Stone Age camp by a man who is both warrior and shaman, Sannah must find a way to survive in the historical fiction romance, Sannah, by Miriam Newman.
Miriam, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about Sannah.
Sannah by Miriam Newman
Genre ancient times historical romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
Taken captive in a raid on her Stone Age camp, Sannah is abducted by a man who is both warrior and shaman. Memmet believes she was given to him by the spirits and will keep her at any cost.
Why did you write this book?
After writing historical romance set in 1066 at the time of the Norman Conquest of England, I was looking for a little different period in history to explore. And, wow, did my muse respond—all the way back to the Stone Age.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Romance, definitely. Historical and fantasy are my two favorites, and if they are combined, so much the better!
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
King Arthur was always a definite favorite.
What are you working on at the moment?
My historical fantasy trilogy, The Chronicles of Alicia, has just reverted to me and I am assembling it into an ebook and print bundle for readers both old and new.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
Aside from my trilogy, next year should see the release of two historical romances, Flame of Normandy and Clothilde. They are the prequel and sequel to my book The Comet, but can be easily read as standalone novels. Both go back to possibly my favorite time period, the Norman Conquest.

Fantasy poetry driven by myths and legends has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I was published in poetry before catching the romance writing bug. I bring that background to my writing along with a lifelong addiction to horses, an 18 year career in various areas of psychiatric social services and many trips to Ireland, where I nurture my muse. My published works range from contemporary fantasy romance to fantasy historical, futuristic, science fiction and historical romance. Currently I live in rural Pennsylvania with a “motley crew” of rescue animals.

Read the story of Ganina in Warlord by Miriam Newman @miriamnewman #RLFblog #NewRelease #fantasy historical romance
Miriam Newman, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about Ganina in Warlord.
Warlord by Miriam Newman
Genre fantasy historical romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
Given like a toy to a famous old warlord, Ganina is a young girl with love to give. When he and his oldest son die, it is rumored that a younger son, Senec, engineered their deaths. She has no choice but to cast her lot with Senec, but is he a murderer?
Why did you write this book?
This book was inspired by my previous book, Spirit Awakened. They can be read in conjunction, but Warlord is written as a stand-alone.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I like nearly any sub-genre of romance, but especially fantasy and historical.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Oh, I was a die-hard King Arthur fan from the get-go.
What are you working on at the moment?
Right now I’m finishing up two historical romances that are a prequel and sequel to my book The Comet.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
Later this year I will release Land of Shadow, historical romance set against the Siege of Jerusalem. In 2021, I anticipate releasing my historical novels, Flame and Clothilde, which are set around the time of the Norman Conquest in 1066 A.D. And finally, later in 2021 I am trying my hand at a completely new-to-me concept, an ancient times romance set just before the Bronze Age.
