What will the search for love be like in the future? The year is 2032, and Abrielle is looking for true love. What she encounters on that first date will be a tale to rival any first date story you’ve ever heard.
Sampson is also looking for love. Open-minded, spontaneous, and financially stable, he seems to be the perfect man. Yet, underneath it all, he harbors a glaring secret. Sampson has spent his lifetime passing for something that he is not, yet his love surpasses that of any human Abrielle has known. Though they seem to be a match made in heaven, Abrielle and Sampson are breaking many rules and will certainly face some unique challenges. In order to live a life with him, Abrielle must decide which rules are actually worth breaking, and in the process, learn a lot about herself.
What is your go-to meal when you dine out?
I have a few go-tos, but my favorite meal that is actually also healthy would be Thai food, more specifically, Ginger stir-fry with chicken.
Who is your “book boyfriend” (that hottie you read about and drool over)?
I’ve really enjoyed fantasizing about Jame Frasier, but I think I drooled relentlessly over Tobias in the Divergent series, such a troubled, strong, yet caring individual. Seeing his character played by Theo James did not help matters at all.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies include enjoying time with my dog at the dog park or walking the neighborhood, reading, writing, yoga, some volunteer work, and watching movies, whether on Netflix or in a theater.
When you read for pleasure, what kind of books do you choose?
I go through phases. I read a little bit of everything, though I love Science fiction. I read the five book trilogy of A Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe, made my way through the first few Outlander books, and I will grab whatever new Stephen book looks interesting, recently, his book 11-22-63, which was amazing! Sometimes I’ll go for the recommended books on my Kindle, and have found wonderful books there that none of my friends have ever heard of. Gerald Hansen’s Irish Lottery series is one example, which is very irreverently humorous. The Kiterunner was another, more serious read. My tastes do vary.
If the hero of your latest book called you on the phone, what would be a perfect ringtone for him?
Since my latest book involves time travel, the ringtone for Milt, the sexy, sweet, yet awkward scientist, would be the theme song to the movie “Weird Science.” It’s also a good old 80’s song.
