Why did you write this book?
Billionaires and Christmas make the season bright, so I thought what better way than to enjoy the holiday than by combining the two.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Anything romance, but I also can’t resist a good psychological thriller.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
I find I have new book boyfriend with nearly every book I read, but for heroines, Scarlett O’Hara and Elizabeth Bennet are firmly emblazoned in mind.
What are you working on at the moment?
As yet untitled, Book 4 of the Beaumont Brides Series takes place in the Outer Banks, one of my favorite places to visit. Tessa receives the shock of her life when the company she works for closes its New York branch. She escapes to a beach house on Manteo Banks, and into the arms of Dillon Lowe whose dark past threatens to expose secrets she had thought long buried.

Never Kiss Goodbye, Book 8 of the Crystal Creek Series releases January 26, 2021, and Beaumont Brides Box Set Books 1-3 releases May 25, 2021.

Coffee or tea? I like them both
Sit down dinner or drive through? Sit down. I love conversation and a nice dinner.
Fold laundry immediately or let it sit? Actually, my husband does the laundry.
Unload dishwasher right away or use dishes from it? I unload it only because does the cooking and we have lots of dishes.
Driving for pleasure or avoid driving anywhere? If I didn’t have to drive, that would be fine with me, but my husband would be antsy so we find ourselves exploring whenever we can.
Talk or text? Talking is nice. I hate when I have cut a conversation short, though.
Emoji or smilie? If the emoji is available, I’ll use it. With all those symbols, I could never figure out how to make my own.

Why did you write this book?
Addison Duvall has appeared in Wherever Love Finds You and When Love Whispers and I knew the next book should be hers. I wanted this book to be a Hollywood romance, but I wasn’t sure what her career focus would be. As I toyed with some ideas for her, I remembered that many years ago I worked as an extra on some Hollywood films, so I dug inside my memory and began to develop Addison’s acting background and she became one of those background actors looking for her big break. And when she’s an extra on the same set as megastar Spencer Kingsley, sparks fly.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Anything romance. I love a conflict between two larger than life characters that appears insurmountable until one of them is faced with the decision of what’s more important―the reason the characters stepped into this story or the love they know they can’t live without.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
I can only pick one? That’s difficult. Different characters resonate with me for different reasons. Lauren Gibbs in Ever After by Karen Kingsbury is a memorable one. She’s determined in her convictions until she has to make the decision of what means more to her―her goals or being with the only man who’s ever made her happy.
What are you working on at the moment?
It’s been two years since I’ve written a Crystal Creek book, and I’ve finally had a chance to revisit that Colorado town and the Whitlochs. Their cousin, Eli Merrick, was recently discharged from the marines and is returning to his first love―traveling the country to enter saddle bronc competitions at rodeos. Pregnant Lily Harkins has escaped an abusive marriage. When these characters meet, they have to decide what’s really important.
This book has been a blast to research and I’ve met some amazing people who’ve taught me a lot about rodeos. Even though I’ve attended rodeos there was a ton of information I didn’t know so it was great to learn the behind-the-scenes information that I can reveal in this book.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
The Billionaire’s Christmas Gift, Book 1 of the Christmas Billionaires Series will be released this fall, and hopefully the 2nd book in the series, as yet untitled, along with Book 8 of the Crystal Creek Series, as yet untitled.

Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.
He loves to be comfortable, but as a military cadet, he wears the academy uniform during the day. After class, he can’t wait to dive into running shorts and a t-shirt. He’s a runner, and he’s running every free moment.
What is he like around children?
He isn’t accustomed to children, but there’s one baby he loves and wants to hold. He never thought he wanted a family. He’s determined to pursue his military career, but when he sees Willow holding her baby, the confusing surge of emotions make him wonder what he really wants.
Does he drink coffee? If so, how does he take it? If not, what does he drink instead?
He’s not a coffee drinker. Because he’s a runner, he drinks lots of water. Not that he likes water, but he needs to stay hydrated, even in a humid place like Charleston.
What apps would he have on his phone?
He has all the phone apps. One of his favorites is the food delivery service. When he’s studying, he’ll often miss meals. He has a senior project due and he’d rather work on that than eat. He’s an eat to live type of guy. Even though he’s a runner, he can’t resist a cheeseburger and fries. He also likes the flower order app. After all, what better way to make a new mother smile that order her a bouquet of two dozen red roses?
Beard or clean-shaven?
He has to be clean-shaven. At the academy, haircuts and shaving are part of a strict standard, but when he’s forced to spend a few weeks at Willow’s family’s farm, he relaxes from the academy’s strict code and enjoy a laxer standard.
Personal vehicle or public transport?
He doesn’t care what he drives, but his mother, with her newfound wealth, greeted him Christmas morning with a new sports car. It’s a babe magnetic, which he’d appreciate if he had time for women, but he enrolled in the academy to pursue a military career and that’s his focus … for now.
