Read the new #PNR Lair by Tina Donahue @tinadonahue #RLFblog #ReverseHaremTina Donahue, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about Lair.

    Lair by Tina Donahue

    Genre Erotic PNR reverse harem

Book heat level (based on movie ratings) R

A rogue reaper who lives by her rules. Three alpha Enforcers determined she obeys theirs.

Chantel never asked to be a reaper and she sure as hell isn’t taking the virtuous or young before their time. When it comes to dirtbags… that’s another story. Whether they’re ready or not, she has them on her radar for extermination. Rogue reaping suits her just fine.

Rydan, Kahl, and Huntir don’t see her crimes that way. As Enforcers tasked with keeping order in the para world, she’s set for reeducation in their lair. Their goal? To ensure her obedience to their commands while making her submissive to their carnal needs.

Yeah, right. They may be sexier than sin, but these bad boys won’t break her, ever. Bring on the interrogations, indoctrination, and other stuff, the more hardcore the better.

This is a battle of the sexes they’ll all win.

This is book one in The Enforcers series and can be enjoyed independently.

Publisher’s Note This dark, paranormal reverse harem romance is intended for adults only. It contains elements of danger, suspense, adventure, power exchange and sensual scenes. If any of these offend you, please do not purchase.

    QUICK

Do you write more than one genre? If so, what are they?

Yes, I write in several sub-genres of romance, including contemporary, erotic, erotica, historical, romcom, sci-fi, paranormal, suspense, and thriller.

How do you come up with ideas?

Honestly, they just pop into my head like scenes from a movie. I could be driving, at the mall shopping, enjoying dinner and suddenly I’ll see a scene in my head and think ‘what if…’ That’s when the ideas start flowing, showing me what would happen to the characters if I tried things this way, or maybe that way. Sort of like the alternate endings in The Butterfly Effect.

What is the single most important part of writing for you?

Revisions. That’s when I catch mistakes I’ve might have made while composing. For example in Lair, I had stated what some of the guys’ powers were in the early chapters. When I got to a later chapter, they didn’t have one of the powers any longer. I thought ohmygod, that is sooo wrong! I had to fix it pronto or the story wouldn’t have made sense.

When did you write your first book?

When I was nine. I called it Dimples the Adventurous Flea about a flea that jumps from dog to dog to ‘see the world’. When he’s on a French poodle, he’s in France. An English bulldog puts him in London. An Irish setter in Ireland. You get the drift. I even illustrated it then made copies and sold it to my friends’ parents in the neighborhood. My first book tour!

Tina’s an Amazon and international bestselling novelist who writes passionate romance for every taste – ‘heat with heart’ – for traditional publishers and indie. Booklist, Publisher’s Weekly, Romantic Times and numerous online sites have praised her work. She’s won Readers’ Choice Awards, was named a finalist in the EPIC competition, received a Book of the Year award, The Golden Nib Award, awards of merit in the RWA Holt Medallion competitions, and second place in the NEC RWA contests. She’s featured in the Novel & Short Story Writer’s Market. Before penning romances, she worked at a major Hollywood production company in Story Direction.
On a less serious note she’s an admitted and unrepentant chocoholic, brakes for Mexican restaurants, and has been known to moan like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally while wolfing down tostadas. She’s flown a single-engine airplane (freaking scary), rewired an old house using an ‘electricity for dummies’ book, and is horribly shy despite the hot romances she writes.
