Author Bio

Once upon a time, Kristina Knight spent her days running
from car crash to fire to meetings with local police–no, she wasn’t a
troublemaker, she was a journalist. Her career took her all over the United
States, writing about everything from a serial killer’s capture to the National
Finals Rodeo. Along the way, she found her very own Knight in Shining Cowboy
Boots and an abiding love for romance novels. And just like the characters from
her favorite books, she’s living her own happily ever after.

Kristina writes sassy contemporary romance novels; her books

What’s your favorite down-home
family style meal?

Gosh, so many to choose from! I’m going to go with chili,
because we’re heavy into fall right now. When the weather turns crisp, my
family loves soups. This weekend I’ve got chili perking in the crock pot and in
another hour or so I’ll make some grilled cheese sandwiches to go with it. Yum!

What’s your favorite hashtag
to watch on Twitter?

I follow the #amwriting and #amreading hashtags a LOT! Those
two remind me that I’m not alone in my love of books. I can’t tell you how many
new authors I’ve found by following #amreading, and when I’m deep in deadline
hell and feeling like I’m all alone, the #amwriting hash helps to remind me
that I’m not.

Describe the perfect vacation.

Warm, tropical breezes, a sandy beach…and RadioMan sitting
beside me watching the sun go down.

When you read for pleasure,
what kind of books do you choose?

I read across the gamut, it kind of depends on my mood. If I
want to escape I’ll turn to Kristan Higgans or Nora Roberts…and more times
than not I’m in that escape mode!

If the hero of your latest
book called you on the phone, what would be a perfect ringtone for him?

Oooh, good one! I think I’d attach Ride by Chase Rice to
Emmett from First Love Again…it just fits him.
