About Nicole Morgan

Top Five Bloggers for the Month

Each month, the RLF Gems post ranks in the top ten, but is not
counted, in order to focus on guests. The winners are judged by cumulative page
views, including return and unique visits.
1 Nicole Morgan
2 Jacquie Biggar
3 Anni Fife
4 Errin Stevens
5 Eleanor Webster
Honorable mention: Hannah
Meredith

Top Chatters for the Month

Because the person who gets the most comments in a month is not always the
person who gets the most page views per month, I instituted the Top Chatter Award.
This is the award for the person who receives the most comments. To win, a guest
must have five or more comments (not counting the guest author’s). There can be
up to three winners.
This month’s winner’s are:
1 Kristina Knight, Nicole Morgan (tie)
2 Hannah Meredith, Jacquie Biggar (tie)
3 NJ Walters

Top Bloggers of 2017

each day. If you choose a date, no one else will be able to take that date, so
please make a note of it in your own calendar as well. You can sign up for more
than one visit; however, the visits must be in different months.

October – December

My thanks to all who took part this month. You made Romance Lives

Interview with Errin Stevens
Why did you write this book?
Breakwater is a sequel to my first book, Updrift, and I had more character stories to tell!
What is your favorite genre to read?
I’m an omnivore, truly – I read everything from trade romance to literary fiction. I even read a little (very little) nonfiction!
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice. She’s clever and forthright and has a beautiful energy.
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I’m working on the third book in this series, Outrush. I hope (worry?) I’ll finish it in time to release late 2017.
Please tell us about your latest book.
The sirens of Griffins Bay are in trouble, and the recent slew of royal suicides looks to be the least of their worries.
For one, unless a blood relative of the queen shows up, no one’s around to staff the monarchy. Well, except for a whack-job bureaucrat and he seriously won’t do. Worse is the community unrest threatening siren society, a problem caused by too many humans in the pool, which means Simon and his off-limit girlfriend will have to run and hide if they want to make more of their flirtation…
The solution doesn’t inspire confidence at first, but the Blakes have everything at hand to set their world to rights – namely, a hidden queen, a dead prince, and a facility for human manipulation. Once they find their sea legs, they’ll restore order, distribute smartphones, and drive that conniving bureaucrat to a grisly, satisfying end.

Since her father died, Kate Sweeting’s home life has been in the pits, her well-being on life support. Her future looks desolate until she and her mother, Cara, make another plan: abandon their shriveled existence for more promising prospects on the coast, where Cara can play small-town librarian/bachelorette and Kate can figure out what’s up with that secretive Blake family from the beach.
Everyone is eerily captivated with Kate and her mother, and Cara is the first to figure out why when the man of her dreams arrives all dripping and devoted and closed-mouthed about what he intends. Kate is willing to go along with their subterfuge for a while but eventually makes a charge for the water to learn what her mother is hiding. Gabe Blake is there waiting for her…and so is someone considerably less friendly. By the time Kate navigates her way home, everything will have changed for her—what she feels, what she wants, and what she’ll risk to be with the man she loves.
