    High Class, a romance #contemporary @melteshco #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.

    About the Author

Mel Teshco is an award winning, Amazon best selling author with a love for the written word, along with a short attention span that sees her juggling a variety of genres and heat levels in her stories. From contemporary to paranormal, inspirational to erotic, she hopes there’s a little of something for every reader out there to enjoy.
Her gypsy-like upbringing saw her living in many places along Australia’s east coast. Each new home stimulated an already over-active imagination, where she spent as much time dreaming about fantasy worlds as the real world – the fantasy sometimes being much better.
Now living on a beautiful rural property with views of the mountains keeping her two horses, three cats and one hyperactive Belgian shepherd happy, she is happily married to Mr Patience, and adores her three children and two grandchildren.

    Interview with Mel Teshco

Why did you write this book?
I wrote the first book in the VIP Desire Agency series and loved the story (Lady in Red) that was centered around a call girl so much, I introduced more professional women so I could focus on those girls too and turn it into a series. There’s so much to love about these gorgeous women with their emotional pasts. In High Class, my heroine, Scarlet, has raised her twin sisters after their mom passed away when Scarlet was just eighteen. With their father walking out on them long before their mom died, Scarlet feels no man is worthy of love, not when they can leave at any time for greener pastures.
What is your favorite genre to read?
That would be a toss-up between erotic contemporary, sci-fi and paranormal. I also love Young Adult.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
I’m a huge fan of Kresley Cole’s contemporary erotic series, The Game Maker series. If I had to choose it would be Maksimilian Sevastyan from the book The Master.
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I’m working on Existence, a vampire paranormal story where the hero has been living in a vampire’s nest for forty-six years, where he is a donor to his master. Other women donors have come and gone in the years, all dying, but a new woman donor the vampire brings in soon changes everything.
I’m also working on the next book after High Class, and have a few other projects in the works for different publishers.
Please tell us about your latest book.
Claire Davis has tried to give herself and her sisters a simple life since their mother died when she was 18. But appearances can be deceiving. She leads a complicated, double life as Scarlet, high class call girl, sleeping with billionaire businessmen to pay the bills. Falling in love has never been part of her plan, especially to a born heart-breaker.
Mackenzie Smitherson has one goal in life: make money, and lots of it. Except the one woman he pays to be with him also turns out to be the one woman whose heart isn’t available at any price. He wants more than her beautiful body…he wants all of her. Even if that means he has to open up his heart, and reveal his own dark past. But will Claire walk away to save her own heart before he has a chance?

    Why did you write

The inspiration for this book I actually found while writing
another book, though the stories are not at all connected. I started wondering
about if a scene had gone another way.
    What is your favorite

Uhh…that’s a hard question. I like everything from Charlotte
Bronte to Steinbeck, Harry Potter to O. Henry, Twilight to Jane Austin.
    Who is your favorite
character from fiction (not including your own)?
Jane Eyre. She’s the perfect example of quiet and strong, an
unusual pairing in fictional females, and not easy to write.
    What are you working
on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
This is going to be a CRAZY year. I have eight books
releasing in 2016. Yes, eight. All three books in the Once series (contemporary

in the Taken series (romantic suspense)

The Diary of Narcissa Dunn a new #historical romance by @Elaine_Violette #RLFblog

A quick interview with Elaine Violette, author of The Diary of Narcissa Dunn.

    About the Author

Elaine writes British and American Historical Romances.  Part of the fun of writing Historicals, she says, is doing research into the past and creating characters that live and love in those sometimes glorious and sometimes harrowing times. A veteran English teacher, Elaine presently teaches public speaking part-time at a local community college. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and CT Romance Writers (CTRWA). Residing on the Connecticut shoreline with her golfing husband, Drew, she delights in being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Other favorite activities apart from reading and writing are nature walks, kayaking, and baking yummy desserts.

    Interview with Elaine Violette

Why did you write this book?
My inspiration for The Diary of Narcissa Dunn came from a morning walk in a local cemetery in Connecticut. I came upon a monument from 1808. Its epitaph for an 19 year old woman named Narcissa captured my heart. I copied the inscription and saved it, knowing I would write a story based on it someday. Two other books came before Narcissa’s manuscript but the voice of the epitaph refused to be stay buried in my memory. The inscription included in the plot, speaks loudly. This is truly a book of my heart.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Historical Romance both British Regencies and American Historicals. I enjoy not only the romance but also the rich historical backgrounds. I also love stories that bring in paranormal elements and The Diary of Narcissa Dunn is a ghostly love story.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Oliver, from Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. I’ve come across no author who creates such descriptive, enticing characters as Dickens. Just think of Miss Havisham  in
Great Expectations! Authors can learn so much from his detailed descriptions.
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
The Diary of Narcissa Dunn is the first in the Redemption series. Presently, I’m working on Book Two, which will continue the story of Olivia and her family.
Please tell us about your latest book.
Tensions rise between Reverend Fuller and his daughter Olivia when he attempts to control her choice of a husband. As Olivia experiences strange recurring dreams, other mysterious events create chaos in the parsonage, leaving the family on edge. Meanwhile, Benjamin Pratt, desperately in love with Olivia, discovers an old diary that reveals shocking secrets. He becomes an unwilling messenger, torn between revealing truths that could shatter Olivia’s heart, or destroy the diary and watch her marry another. Either way, he’s bound to lose her unless a mysterious woman intervenes.

    A Taste of Tragedy a new #RomanticSuspense by @kimmcmahill #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.

    About the Author

Kim McMahill grew up in Wyoming, which is where she developed her sense of adventure and love of the outdoors. She started out writing non-fiction, but her passion for exotic world travel, outrageous adventures, stories of survival, and happily-ever-after endings soon drew her into a world of romantic suspense. Along with writing adventure novels Kim has also published over eighty travel and geographic articles, and contributed to a travel anthology and cookbook. Kim recently relocated to Colorado. When not writing, she enjoys gardening, traveling, hiking, and spending time with family.

    Interview with Kim McMahill

Why did you write this book?
A Taste of Tragedy is the second novel in the Risky Research series. The series explores how far a deadly group will go to control the 40-100 billion dollar-a-year diet product industry, and the lengths two dedicated FBI agents will go to stop them. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve begun paying more attention to what I eat and my overall health. The more I read about nutrition and fitness the more confused I become. Available research isn’t much help since often one study appears to contradict the next, and by nature I’m a little skeptical of what I read when a lot of money is at stake. So, as I look for answers I’ve enjoyed taking the subject and twisting it into a suspense series.
What is your favorite genre to read?
    Adventure Suspense
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Dirk Pitt from Clive Cussler’s Dirk Pitt Series
What are you working on at the moment, and what will we see from you in coming months?
I’m currently working on the third novel in the Risky Research series, A Foundation of Fear. It’s got a ways to go, so I don’t have a release date yet. In this novel we get to know the antagonist on a much more personal level and learn that even the most deadly assassin may have something to fear.
Please tell us about your latest book.
Morgan Hunter sacrificed everything for her career. She had yet to encounter anything she wasn’t willing to do to succeed…until now. When she uncovers evidence that the healthy foods she’s been hired to promote may be dangerous, she must reevaluate her priorities. As questions mount and the body count rises, she finds herself caught in the crosshairs of an organization that will stop at nothing to hide its secrets and protect its profits. With no one else to trust, Morgan is forced to seek help from the man she drove away, but whom she never stopped loving.

    Protecting the Quarterback a new #contemporary by @AuthorKristina #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.

    About the Author

Once upon a time, Kristina Knight spent her days running from car crash to fire to meetings with local police–no, she wasn’t a troublemaker, she was a journalist. Her career took her all over the United States, writing about everything from a serial killer’s capture to the National Finals Rodeo. Along the way, she found her very own Knight in Shining Cowboy Boots and an abiding love for romance novels. And just like the characters from her favorite books, she’s living her own happily ever after.
Kristina writes sassy contemporary romance novels; her books have appeared on Kindle Best Seller Lists. She loves hearing from readers, so drop her a line!

    Interview with Kristina Knight

Why did you write this book?
I’m a huge sports fan – baseball, football, the Olympics…you name it. Football, though, is my favorite. I like the action, I like the teamwork, and I like how graceful it all is – the defense, the offense, the give and the take. I wanted to write about two people who approach the game completely differently, and Jonas and Brooks took it from there.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I’m a contemporary girl, all the way! I do read across all genres, in non-fiction and even craft books, but contemporaries always call me back.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Gosh, there are so many. Right now, I’ll go with Jo March – because she was a bit of a rebel in all the best ways!
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I’ve just turned in the galley for What the Heiress Wants, the second book in my Billionaire Cowboys trilogy. I’ll start writing book 3 in another couple of weeks. I’m in the middle of drafting my next Harlequin Superromance, it will be the first book in an amazing news series that I’m so excited about!!
Please tell us about your latest book.
This is more than just a game…to her
Sports broadcaster Brooks Smith has always been more involved with the game than the players. But after she shares the spotlight at an awards ceremony with tabloid sensation Jonas Nash, one night of letting her guard down around the infamous quarterback spirals into many heated days and nights together when she gets assigned to the story of the year.
The hottest player in professional football is hiding a secret that could end his career for good. Now Brooks is caught on the sidelines between the job she loves and the man she is falling in love with.

Seduction in Seville a new #Romantic Suspense by @olivianightread #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.
    About the Author
Olivia Night, a fictional character herself, has always been an avid reader and writer. She found the romance genre in college and has never been able to get enough. One sleepless night, the main characters of Book One in her Men of FTI  series sprang from her head fully formed. They demanded she tell their story; so she did. As they revealed themselves, so did two other intriguing characters. Those characters convinced her to give them their own books because their stories were worth telling too. And so Olivia suddenly became a romance author. When Olivia is not writing, she has the best job in the world, which, too, will remain a secret. In her free time, she reads, write, drinks wine, or is, most likely, out emulating Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Olivia lives in one of the most diverse and vibrant cities in the U.S.—Baltimore. She lives with her cat, which she is convinced was a gladiator in his past life. Olivia plans to continue being awesome at this thing called life. Really, that’s her only goal.
    Interview with Olivia Night
Why did you write this book?
This novel is the second in a series. The main characters, Patrick Kane and Madison Lockwood are introduced in the first novel. Their story is very different from Seduction in Sierra Leone, but all the suspense, sexiness and love are all there!
What is your favorite genre to read?
It actually varies depending on my mood. But I have an entire book case dedicated to Historical Non Fiction and Biographies. So totally different from Romantic Suspense obviously!
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Anne Shirley, without a doubt. I love her spunk. And I like to think that I have it, too!
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
The third novel in this series, Seduction in Scotland will be released on August 1st. I also just finished a manuscript for a new series tentatively titled A Second Chance Series. I am really excited about both of these novels. A spin off of The Men of FTI is in the works as well. The series is titled Interitus and follows a  group of military men who are part of a secret “peace making group”.
Please tell us about your latest book.
    About the Book
In a hospital in Seville, Spain, Patrick Kane lies in a coma. Ambushed and shot while protecting a friend, he fights to survive.
She never thought she would see him again. Patrick, the man who’d brought her back.
Eight years ago, Patrick Kane, a joint partner in Fairlane Trade International, descended into a basement of horrors. That horrible day he rescued many women, but one he would always remember. Her beautiful doe eyes filled his dreams and haunted his nightmares.
Madison Lockwood, a nurse, has struggled to put her past behind her, trying to forget the time she spent in captivity. But she recognizes the man who rescued her and brought her out of that terrifying reality. She owes him her life. Patrick is gravely injured, and Madison vows to see him through.
When Patrick opens his eyes, he instantly knows that he made a mistake leaving Madison after freeing her from the clutches of a human trafficking ring. She is meant to be his. As Patrick tries to win over a wary Madison, the past they both thought was gone for good comes back with a vengeance. One by one, the survivors of the horrific ordeal are being murdered. Patrick knows that Madison will be next if he doesn’t protect her.
Together they must fight for their survival. Seduction In Seville, book two in the Men of FTI series, is a tale of redemption, murder, new beginnings, and love that takes the reader on a wild, exotic ride.
