    Embroidered Fantasies by NJ Walters

    Genre Erotic Romance

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

With her abusive ex-husband safely behind bars, Roxanne Sykes is trying to carve out a quiet life for herself. Just as she’s beginning to feel free to explore her new possibilities, word reaches her that her cruel ex has been released from prison. When he shows up at her door bent on destroying her, it’s only through the magic of a well-loved tapestry that Roxanne is whisked away to safety–and into the world of a warrior she’s known only from her fantasies.

Radnor Craddock has known only a life of violence and brutality at the hands of his older brothers. Now that they have fallen in battle, Radnor and his twin brother Sednar can finally put their house in order. Just as their efforts are bearing fruit, fate smiles upon them again by delivering a potential tapestry bride to their doorstep. Well aware of what they must do to win her hand and her heart, the brothers dedicate themselves to granting Roxanne every imaginable pleasure, driving her to sensual heights unlike any she has ever known.

With each new erotic encounter stirring a loving bond between the three, Roxanne is tempted to accept the promise of the tapestry and make a new life and new home with the brothers. But she has trusted before and been painfully wrong, and she’s frightened by the whisperings of the brothers’ violent past. Unsure of herself and threatened anew when her merciless ex finds his way to her once again, Roxanne must trust her heart as the brothers vow to protect her and destroy her ex–and to give her a life and love she had never dreamed possible…

Why did you write this book?

When I wrote the first book in this series–Christina’s Tapestry–I’d intended it to be a standalone title. But the world of Javara was so fascinating and the possibilities limitless, and I just kept on writing. The older Craddock brothers are villains in the earlier books. It made me stop and wonder about the younger brothers. This is their story.

What is your favorite genre to read?

    Romance, of course.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

That is so tough. I have so many characters from fiction that I love that I can’t choose just one. So let’s just say that one of my favorites is Eve Dallas from J.D. Robb’s In Death series. She is one kickass heroine and her storyline has been carried over more than forty books. She’s grown and evolved through the series. I grab each new book when it’s released.

What are you working on at the moment?

I’m working on a new paranormal series for Entangled. I’m quite excited about it.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

I’m in the Stranded: A Boys Behaving Badly anthology due out April 30th. My next Blood of the Drakon book–Drakon’s Knight–is releasing June 24th. And the next Tapestries book will be out in about three months.

Demon's Grotto by Kate Hill @katehillromance #RLFblog #NewRelease #darkfantasyKate Hill, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your book.

    Demon’s Grotto by Kate Hill

    Genre Romantic Horror
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
Ben wants Laura to reconsider staying overnight at Demon’s Grotto, and he has information about the club’s history that should convince her. He tells her three creepy love stories, hoping she will change her mind.
Rise of the Creature – When a mad doctor brings a dead man back to life, only his beautiful assistant can make that life worth living.
The Demon Within – A man on the run stops to rest at a rooming house, not knowing that it’s the hunting ground of a gorgeous succubus bent on devouring handsome guests.
Don’t Cry, Wolf – An ad for a maintenance man at a bed and breakfast is answered by a former soldier who is harboring a hairy secret. The business’s lovely co-owner becomes involved with this sullen hunk who’s more than she imagined possible.
After hearing these stories of love and murder, will Laura decide to spend the night at Demon’s Grotto?
Why did you write this book?
I wanted to write a collection of short, romantic horror stories that were tied together by a common theme. I also wanted to include a different take on classic monsters, like the Frankenstien monster, vampire, and werewolf.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Romance, in particular paranormal and science fiction romance. I also love historical romance.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
That is one of the hardest questions to answer. There are so many great characters that I love. I lean toward antiheroes and villians. The fictional bad boys are usually charismatic and their flaws make them relatable. My favorite? I’ll go with Scorpius from Farscape, but it’s so hard to narrow it down.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’ve just finished a science fiction romance novel that I’m getting cleaned up to submit. I’m hoping it will be the start of a new series. I’m also about to start a short paranormal romance.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
At the moment I don’t have any release dates for upcoming books, but I’m hoping that will change soon!

Moonlight Match by Kristina Knight @AuthorKristina #RLFblog #NewRelease #sweetromanceKristina Knight, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your book.

    Moonlight Match by Kristina Knight

    Genre Contemporary Romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings):
Aster Harrington believes in love but love doesn’t seem to believe in her. She’s hoping Goldie and Ginny, the matchmakers who’ve matched on two generations of Harringtons, can work a little love magic for her… Some call Ethan Talbot rigid, but he prefers to think of himself as prepared. Unfortunately, when he’s matched with Aster Harrington at Joy Island’s Matchmaking Week, all those carefully prepared plans go out the window. He can get back to finding a suitable wife once he’s home in New York. After all, how much damage can one week in the Bahamas do to his plans?
Why did you write this book?
I was asked to join the Resort to Romance continuity last spring, and the concept was so much fun I couldn’t say no! All the books are standalone, all are sweet romance, and they’re filled with uplifting romance, laughter, and characters you just want to root for!
What is your favorite genre to read?
It depends on my mood. I read a LOT of contemporary romance, but romantic suspense is another favorite.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Gosh, another toughie! I’m going to say Jo from Little Women because she’s a little persnickety, but she is also such a caring person.
What are you working on at the moment?
I have a couple of books going on right now. I’m working on a women’s fiction novel, set in the Mediterranean and a cowboy series (contemporary, of course!) set in Nebraska.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
I’m releasing my next Slippery Rock book in a couple of months and will have more details on release dates for my contemporary cowboy and women’s fiction books in a few weeks. Yay!

The Bastard-Book 3 in The King's Cousins-by Alexa Aston @AlexaAston #RLFblog #NewRelease #medievalromanceAlexa Aston, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your book.

The Bastard (The King’s Cousin’s Book 3) by Alexa Aston

    Genre medieval romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings) PG-13
The three young children of Adelard de Blays—two sons and a daughter—are separated when their father commits treason against the King of England. Follow each of their stories in The King’s Cousins, a new trilogy by Alexa Aston.
1342 A.D. – Spirited away when his father Adelard de Blays commits treason, bastard Quill Cardon longs to reclaim his family name when he reaches manhood and reunite with his half-siblings, Landon and Katelyn. Winning the king’s tournament at Smithfield and saving the life of Prince Edward leads to Quill being awarded an earldom and an estate of his own—but what he most desires is Lady Tristanna Willoughby, a woman he can never have.
Tristanna has served for years as a lady-in-waiting to Queen Philippa and has waited for the return of her betrothed, Jarrett Marsden, from the war in France. Tristanna dislikes Jarrett, who chases anything in a skirt, and longs to wed Sir Quill Cardon, an honorable knight who has captured her heart.
When circumstances change, Quill and Tristanna have a chance at happiness—until a man seeking revenge threatens to tear them apart.
Each book in The King’s Cousins Trilogy is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order.
    Series Order:
    Book #1: The Pawn
    Book #2: The Heir
    Book #3: The Bastard
For those who enjoy romance on the high seas, you might enjoy the standalone prequel to The King’s Cousins Trilogy. God of the Seas is part of the Pirates of Britannia World and features Godwin de Blays and Melisent Winchester, great-grandparents to Quill, Landon, and Katelyn.
Why did you write this book?
This is the last book in my medieval romance trilogy The King’s Cousins, so I needed to finish up the last story of the final sibling and give Quill his HEA.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I love reading just about anything, but I’m partial to romance, suspense, and thrillers.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Miss Elizabeth Bennet rocks my world!
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m deep into my first-ever Regency trilogy, The St. Clairs, which will come out in spring and summer of 2019.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
Devoted to the Duke releases April 25. Midnight with the Marquess comes out May 23. Embracing the Earl is a June 20 release. And in July, a secondary character in these books, the Earl of Merrifield, will get his own story told!

The Heir (The King’s Cousins Book 1) by Alexa Aston

    Genre medieval romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): PG-13
The three young children of Adelard de Blays—two sons and a daughter—are separated when their father commits treason against the King of England. Follow each of their stories in The King’s Cousins, a new trilogy by Alexa Aston.
1340 A.D. – After his treasonous father’s execution, Landon de Blays is raised alongside his cousin, the future King Edward III. Landon constantly fights to prove his own loyalty to the crown and becomes England’s youngest knight. Rewarded for bravery in battle, the king gifts Landon with a title and estate, something he’s longed for over the years as much as restoring his family’s good name.
Cassiana Campion raises five brothers and nurses her ill father while managing Briarwood, her family’s estate. When her father succumbs to old battle wounds and she receives news her last surviving brother has been killed in battle, Cassiana has nowhere to turn—until Landon de Blays arrives with a missive naming him the new Earl of Briargate—and Cassie’s bridegroom.
The couple fall in love but are torn apart by circumstances beyond their control before their wedding can take place. Landon can live without an earldom and Briarwood but he can’t conceive of a life without Cassiana. Will Landon unlock the secrets that can bring them back together?
Each book in The King’s Cousins Trilogy is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order.

Why did you write this book?
The Heir is the second book in my medieval romance trilogy, The King’s Cousins (which can all be read as standalones).
Landon de Blays, the hero, lost everything when he was a young boy, thanks to his father’s treason. He’s heir to nothing as a mature man. I needed for Landon to prove his loyalty to the king and win back everyone’s respect (and a title, estate, and a spirited heroine, as well).
What is your favorite genre to read?
I enjoy all kinds of romance and thrillers.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
My heart adores Pride and Prejudice’s Elizabeth Bennet!
What are you working on at the moment?
Now that The King’s Cousins is completed, I’m working on a brand-new trilogy. It’s my first time trying my hand at Regency romance!
What books will we see from you in coming months?
Next month, I’ll wrap up The King’s Cousins with Quill’s story—The Bastard. He’s the oldest of the three de Blays’ siblings and has to accomplish the impossible to get his HEA.
