Jamie bares all in Anything You Want by Tina Donahue @tinadonahue #RLFblog #Contemporary

Jamie bares all in Anything You Want by Tina Donahue @tinadonahue #RLFblog #ContemporaryJamie’s visit to a hedonistic resort to celebrate her 30th birthday turns seriously sexy and life-changing in Tina Donahue’s contemporary menage Anything You Want. And boy-oh-boy does Jamie get what she wants when hot-as-hell billionaires Creed and Tav make certain this is one birthday she’ll never forget… and will cherish forever.

Tina, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your book.

Anything You Want by Tina Donahue

    Genre contemporary menage
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

At a hedonistic resort, her indecent cravings are about to be sated…

With the big three-O only days away, Jamie’s had it with dieting, exercise, and being alone. Off she goes to Wicked Desires, a decadent Caribbean resort where clothing is optional, carnal appetites rule, and food, especially chocolate, is celebrated. If only she had a guy to indulge with…

How about two? Billionaires Creed and Tav are checking out ideas for their new video game. The play features a resort where anything goes and an unlikely heroine as the star. Jamie’s luscious curves and sweet vulnerability make her the perfect type to base their game on. Since she’s also in IT—having put her dream to create candy on hold—she understands their lingo.

Hell, their desires are perfectly in tune with hers, whether it’s food play during meals, punishment in the discipline room, or a romantic evening on the beach.

When it comes to sweet delights and these two hunks…who says she can’t have anything she wants?

Let’s bare it all and chat about what to wear

First, what is your name and how old are you?

I’m Jamie. How old am I? Seriously? *sigh* You would ask that. I’m about to hit the big three-O. *sigh*

What is the time period in which you live?

    Contemporary.

Considering the role you play in society, what is expected for you to wear?

Since I’m in IT (Information Technology) what I wear would be anything that’s not sexy or revealing.

Do you make your own clothing?

LOL, god no. I can code, but sew? LOL

When you wear something different, who’s the first person who notices?

Well… since I’ve hooked up with Tav and Creed, my luscious billionaires, I guess the answer would be them.

Tell us your favorite thing to wear.

Nothing when I’m around my guys.

When others see you what is their first impression?

Dunno and don’t care. I used to before meeting Tav and Creed. But now, with them, I only care what they see in me.

What do you wear to sleep?

Seriously? When I’m with my two hotter-than-hell billionaires, I don’t wear anything. I’m not crazy. 😊

Does anyone help you dress (other than a lover)?

Nope. Having Creed and Tav helping me undress is good enough.

    Have you ever worn:
    a uniform
Nope… unless you consider an underwire bra part of a uniform. Then, yeah, I have. Totally hate them, but what are you gonna do for support?
    a costume
Sure, as a kid on Halloween.
    a disguise
Nope, but during my horrible high school years, I wish I could have.
an outfit for the opposite gender
Working in a so-called ‘man’s field’, meaning IT, is bad enough. I don’t want to look like a guy, too.

Tell us what your author wears when writing about you.

Aw, Tina – bless her heart – loves to go totally casch. Sweats in the winter, shorts and tank tops in the summer, no makeup either. Most of the time she doesn’t even comb her hair. She’s my hero.

If your author has a pet, is the pet ever dressed in clothing?

Now that would be cute, but no. Tina had a pet – LKB (short for Little Kitty Baby) – but LKB passed. A sad, sad day. However, when LKB was around there was no way in hell anyone, not even Superwoman, could have made that cat put on anything. If they’d tried, there would have been serious scratching and gallons of blood.

Jocelyn bares all. The Darkness Therein by Kate Hill @katehillromance #RLFblog #VampireRomanceIn Kate Hill’s vampire romance The Darkness Therein, Jocelyn swears that nothing or no one will stand between him and revenge on the creature that destroyed his life—Until he meets Charlie.

Kate, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your book.

The Darkness Therein by Kate Hill

    Genre Vampire Romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R for sexual situations, strong language, and violence

Jocelyn has chased his nemesis for centuries. He swore that nothing or no one would stand between him and revenge on the creature that destroyed his life. That same rival leads Jocelyn to the one person who can reconnect him to the human race.

Art student Charlie has no idea that her family history binds her to a creature of legend–until he appears in the form of a tall, beautiful man with a thirst for revenge. The last thing she wants is to follow his orders, but if she intends to stay alive, she has no choice.

Note: The Darkness Therein was previously published. This re-edited version contains additional scenes.

Let’s bare it all and chat about what to wear

First, what is your name and how old are you?

Jocelyn Ayer. I’ve existed for six centuries, but look much as I did when I was changed. Back then, I was in my thirties.

What is the time period in which you live?

Our story takes place in the 1980s.

What is considered “appropriate” for someone of your gender to wear?

<smirks>Gender stereotypes have no place in my life. One should wear whatever one wants to. I’ve been told I’m prettier than a traditional looking man. Throughout my life, especially in my youth, that perception was more hindrance than help. I prefer classic clothing. Black is my favorite color. I suppose my taste in clothing is generally considered “appropriate” for a traditional man.

How do you feel about wearing that type of clothing?

I wear it because I think it looks good on me. I like to dress conservatively, for the most part.

Considering the role you play in society, what is expected for you to wear?

<laughs>I probably look very much like what’s expected of a vampire, minus the cape, of course.

Ever required to wear something you don’t like? Tell us about it.

In my days as a slave, I had no choice about what I wore, or didn’t wear is actually a more accurate description. My very existence was to please my master, whether in his bed or as a breeder. It’s not something I like to talk about. I hated being treated like a possession.

Do you make your own clothing?

No. I have neither the time nor the inclination for that.

Mending and laundry are chores for anyone. Do you do it or someone else?

Mending, not usually. When I’m finished fighting, my clothes are often beyond mending. I typically do my own laundry.

What determines the type of clothing you buy? (example, money, fashion, job)

My personal taste and what’s functional.

When you wear something different, who’s the first person who notices?

Charlie. Or Brett, if he’s around. He has a talent for invasive questions and comments.

Tell us your favorite thing to wear.

My fleur-de-lis necklace. It was a gift. And I love wearing my rings, except for the one that’s most precious to me. A portrait ring. A piece of my mortal life. It’s usually too painful for me to look at, you see. Too many memories attached. It was intended for a woman, as well, but it’s not what you think. She was my–<shakes head>Why am I telling you this? I don’t talk about that part of my life.

What kind of shoes or boots do you wear?

Black steel toe boots, whether I’m in casual or formal clothes. Charlie calls them “shit kickers.” Sometimes she’s coarse.

Does what you wear make you feel good, or do you dislike it?

This interview is liberating in a way. I don’t generally think about feeling good. Only about revenge. I suppose I do feel good in certain clothes. Much better than when I had no choice about what I wore or anything else in my life.

When others see you what is their first impression?

I’ve been called many things. Scarecrow. Effeminate. Beautiful. Sexy. Arrogant. No matter how others view me, most fear me.

How do you feel about that impression?

I could say that it comes with the territory of being a vampire, but it’s also a persona I’ve cultivated. People should fear me, and they should keep their distance.

What do you wear to sleep?

Sometimes casual pants. Other times nothing at all.

Ever dealt with a “wardrobe malfunction”? Depending on your era, you might need to ask your author what this means.

I asked Charlie instead. She thought it was a funny question. I, however, am not amused. No. I’ve never dealt with a wardrobe malfunction. Any humiliating overexposure was deliberate on the part of my foul master.

Does anyone help you dress (other than a lover)?

    No. Not lately.

    Have you ever worn:

    a uniform
    a costume
    a disguise
an outfit for the opposite gender
All of the above at one time or another. It’s been a long life.

What would you wear to avoid attention?

Despite my understated wardrobe, I can’t seem to avoid attention.

What do you wish you could wear?

I rather miss the cloak I had back in the thirteenth century. It was warm and durable. Some things aren’t made like they used to be.

What do you wish you didn’t have to wear?

The steel toe boots. It would be nice to not have to expect a fight at any moment, or go looking for them so I’ll be prepared for the final battle with Edrik.

Tell us what your author wears when writing about you.

Casual clothes. Pants, a T-shirt or hoodie. Unfortunately, she’s too lazy to truly appreciate fashion.<curls lip>She’s telling me that horror T-shirts are fashion, but to her vampires and the like are a novelty, not reality.

If your author has a pet, is the pet ever dressed in clothing?

No, she thinks her pets should be as comfortable as she is, although she does make her poor chiweenie dress up in a Halloween costume once a year for ten minutes or so for a mini photo session.

Same question for you. Pets in clothing, yay or nay?

<laughs>Would you like to try putting clothes on my mastiffs? Have at it, my friend, but don’t cry to me about the consequences.

Rory bares all. Ash & Stone by Alexa Piper @ ProwlingPiper #RLFblog #MMRomanceA handsome monster saves and decides to keep Rory in this hilarious take on post-apocalyptic romance by Alexa Piper.

Alexa, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your book.

Ash and Stone by Alexa Piper

    Genre MM Monster Romance

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

Two years ago, the world ended with a wish, and it’s all Rory’s fault. Now, after he’s managed to survive all this time, it looks like karmic justice is finally coming for him. It looks like a monster is going to eat him, and Rory, while he is sorry for what he did, doesn’t want to die.

And he does not, because a stranger saves him from becoming monster food. The stranger features horns, blue skin, and too many swords. He is also really tall and muscular and handsome. In a monstrous way.

Rory might have jumped from the frying pan straight into the fire, because a big blue monster isn’t exactly Rory’s idea of a happily-ever-after. Not that he’s been thinking about that or about any sort of ravishing when the blue monster might still eat him or keep him as a pet.

But while Rory does not get eaten or ravished (sigh), the meeting with his monster mate shakes loose more revelations about what really happened two years ago than Rory is prepared to handle, especially since he was considering the comfortable life of a monster’s pet. He definitely wasn’t considering his monster’s murderous buddy, running so much, and going to another world, but sometimes, you just have to roll with the handsome blue monster the Apocalypse gives you.

Let’s bare it all and chat about what to wear

First, what is your name and how old are you?

Hi! I’m Rory. It’s so good to talk to people. I’m twenty-three, almost twenty-four.

What is the time period in which you live?

After the Apocalypse. But, like, that’s contemporary, right?

What is considered “appropriate” for someone of your gender to wear?

Okay, before I answer this, let’s all be totally clear on the fact that I do not, never had, never will have a uterus. All the horny monsters in the back, this human male does not have a uterus, and you can call me frail all you want, I won’t be growing one any time soon, are we clear on this?

Sorry, I had to get that out. Jeans and a tee are good, I guess. But on stage, I wore the hell out of a tree costume once. 😊

Do you make your own clothing?

No, but it would be great if I could do that! Maybe it’s a skill I can teach myself. All I do is raid wardrobes sometimes, but I prefer to see what I can find in stores that haven’t been raided, you know.

Mending and laundry are chores for anyone. Do you do it or someone else?

I would totally do it for my guys, that is, my monsters! Because they do it for me. But apparently this human is too frail for laundry. Look, I’m not complaining.

Tell us your favorite thing to wear.

    My cute cat socks!

What kind of shoes or boots do you wear?

These boots are some hiking brand. But, like, I don’t know hiking brands because that activity isn’t one I would have ever chosen to do before all this. The shoes are sort of brown and uninteresting, but the store I found them at didn’t have anything nicer in my size (and yes, I may have tried on a women’s shoe as well. Please do not tell my guys.)

Does what you wear make you feel good, or do you dislike it?

Honestly? I don’t think about it much anymore. My mind really has been elsewhere, and it’s scary when something might find and eat you out there any moment. If the world were still as it used to be, I’d totally get nice clothes, some tight jeans, an I’d spend my parents’ money on an overpriced but trendy tee or something. And a haircut! I’d get a proper haircut.

When others see you what is their first impression?

Oh, I can tell you exactly. The bad monsters think, mmh, dinner. My monster thinks, mmh, mine. Humans think, huh, wonder what that idiot has in his backpack we can use.

How do you feel about that impression?

    Scared. Very, very scared.

What do you wear to sleep?

I used to just sleep in my clothes, because you never know if you have to run. But with Inkiri–that’s my monster–I feel safe, and I can wear actual sleep clothes.

Ever dealt with a “wardrobe malfunction”? Depending on your era, you might need to ask your author what this means.

    Have you ever worn:
    a uniform
    a costume
    a disguise
an outfit for the opposite gender
Yes! I’ve worn a tree costume for the play we put on in Third Grade. I was the second tree from the left.

What would you wear to avoid attention?

    The tree costume.

What do you wish you could wear?

Also the tree costume. Life was good back in Third Grade.

What do you wish you didn’t have to wear?

Charlotte Gambrell bares all: The Cinderella Curse by Dee S Knight @DeeSKnight #RLFblog #Romance #AdultFairyTale

In Dee S Knight’s erotic Cinderella, a worldly Prince, a naïve Cindy, and an unassuming fairy godfather come together in a magical HEA ending.

Dee, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your book.

The Cinderella Curse by Dee S Knight

    Genre Contemporary erotic romance

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): X

One evening, in a land far away, a wife spins a fairy tale for the amusement of her husband. It’s not your typical child’s tale, of course, but an adult, erotic version of the classic, Cinderella.

All of the principals are present. Charlotte Gambrell immediately recognizes Prince Charming when she meets her boss, James Clarkson. Unfortunately, the worldly Clarkson barely knows she’s alive. Charlotte’s two hateful supervisors make her professional life miserable by piling on the work and never letting her forget that she has employment only at their pleasure.

Everything changes when Charlotte becomes part of a magazine shoot. The photographer, Cooper Hunt, agrees to perform duties as her fairy godfather. By day, he transforms her life by revealing to the world what he already knows, that Charlotte is an exquisite beauty. By night, he transforms her universe by teaching her about passion so she can attract her dream man, James. The “real” Cinderella never had it so good!

By the time Charlotte arrives at the ball, she has James on her mind and Cooper in her heart. Which man will prove to be her real Prince Charming?

Let’s bare it all and chat about what to wear

First, what is your name and how old are you?

Charlotte Gambrell. You know what? Dee never gave me an age. Can you believe it? But I’m 29, nearly 30 and the happiest, luckiest woman in the world.

What is the time period in which you live?

I live in present day Richmond, Virginia.

What is considered “appropriate” for someone of your gender to wear?

What’s appropriate has changed so much over the years. When I was growing up in Kansas, I wore jeans and tee shirts (or sweatshirts, depending on the weather) every minute I wasn’t in school or church. And some days I even wore jeans to school. When I moved east and started working, I noticed a decided uptick in expected clothing. I started wearing skirts or dresses to the office but I never felt as fashionable as most of the other ladies. Guess I should have paid more attention to Seventeen or Vogue when growing up rather than the English romantic poets or American classics like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

How do you feel about wearing that type of clothing?

When Dee wrote my story, I never felt as though I fit in. My tastes were always to the simple and serviceable. If I found a skirt that fit right and felt okay, I was as likely to buy one in each color—regardless if the style or color suited me. I didn’t know exactly what suited me, to tell the truth. But that was before I met my fairy godfather, Cooper. He’s helped me learn my style.

Considering the role you play in society, what is expected for you to wear?

My role these days is wife and mother, so serviceable clothing is preferable. You might say I’ve come full circle—I spend most days in jeans. I wear skirts or dresses to church and on weekly dates with Cooper. He sees me enough in my weekday clothes. I like to do something special for him when we go out—even to McDonald’s.

Ever required to wear something you don’t like? Tell us about it.

Nope. I’m lucky that way. I also write freelance articles for magazines, but I do that sitting in my home office or on the back patio while the children play. No dressing up for that.

Charlotte Gambrell bares all: The Cinderella Curse by Dee S Knight @DeeSKnight #RLFblog #Romance #AdultFairyTale

Do you make your own clothing?

I wish! I never got the hang of sewing, though I do knit and crochet a little. I keep the children in scarves and hats though I’m not talented enough to make sweaters and such.

Mending and laundry are chores for anyone. Do you do it or someone else?

I do them and I actually enjoy it. Good thing, too. With three munchkins who never saw a climbing tree or mud puddle they didn’t like, I have plenty of both. To me it’s relaxing.

What determines the type of clothing you buy? (example, money, fashion, job)

Of course I want to please Cooper and make him proud. But because he continually tells me he thinks I’m beautiful in anything I wear, I simply try to look good not because I have to but because I want to.

When you wear something different, who’s the first person who notices?

Cooper always notices a new outfit. If I wear something too different, my daughter Amanda notices right away.

Tell us your favorite thing to wear.

LOL, jeans. Can’t you tell? I also like turtleneck sweaters because I feel cocooned and snuggly. Winters aren’t as cold in Richmond as in Kansas, but there are many days I can get by with a nice warm sweater.

What kind of shoes or boots do you wear?

Sneakers most days. Gotta be quick with three kids running around. I have good snow boots, too. When I dress up, I wear pumps (for casual) or 3-inch heels (for dressy). Cooper of course loves me in heels. What is it with men and heels, the higher the better?

What do you wear to sleep?

Sleep shorts and a tee shirt. Or nothing. (Am I allowed to say that?) I’ll let you guess which Cooper likes best.

    Have you ever worn:
a uniform Yes, when I waitressed in high school and college
a costume No. Well, except at Halloween
a disguise When Cooper did my make-over, I felt as though I was in disguise
an outfit for the opposite gender Not really. I just try to look my best for Cooper
Tell us what your author wears when writing about you.

Shorts and a short-sleeved tee. I must say, Dee has no sense of style at all. She needs a Cooper to make her over.

If your author has a pet, is the pet ever dressed in clothing?

(shudder) No pet and if she had, I’d like to think that like me, she’d hate to put clothes on the poor thing.

Same question for you. Pets in clothing, yay or nay?

    See above—nay.

She scheduled two dates for the same night at her favorite seafood restaurant, and she owes her shocked boyfriends an explanation. To her surprise, Nathan Risley and Sam Tomlin handle the awkward situation like pros and happily agree to her ultimate fantasy: a ménage à trois.

After the hottest night of her life, Calla faces the ultimate decision.

Should she commit to the one man who secretly loved her all along, or keep her options open and indulge in her summer fantasy again and again?

Let’s bare it all and chat about what to wear

First, what is your name and how old are you?

Call me Calla, and I’m twenty-eight years old.

What is the time period in which you live?

It’s modern day. I live in Wilmington, North Carolina, and my apartment is way too far from the beach for my liking. God, I hate battling traffic just to splash in the water and roll around in the sand, but hey, a girl’s gotta sunbathe.

Considering the role you play in society, what is expected for you to wear?

I’m a bookkeeper at a law office, so I have more plaid and pencil skirts than I care to admit. And all the mauve and beige high-neck blouses—yuck. I mean, I know I have to look the part and dress professionally, but I would love to wear bright, flashy red to work just once—just once, mind you—but then I’d get chewed out by my boss, so nope. Not gonna happen. I’ve worked too hard to throw it away on some workplace fashion faux pas.

Ever required to wear something you don’t like? Tell us about it.

Well, it’s not like I don’t think some of my work clothes are pretty, but I’m so tired of them. On the weekends, though, is when I can finally cut loose and dress in wild colors and low necklines.

Do you make your own clothing?

Oh, I wish. My cousin, Melba, is the seamstress in the family.

When you wear something different, who’s the first person who notices?

Nathan. He’s always so attentive and respectful, unless we’re behind closed doors and he’s pulling my hair, but I digress.

Tell us your favorite thing to wear.

Colorful, flirty summer dresses. I love how the skirts sway and swish as I walk. I feel so feminine.

What kind of shoes or boots do you wear?

Sandals with rhinestone studs are to my go-to footwear for casual outings, but I love high heels and cute little suede boot-boots.

What do you wear to sleep?

If I’m sleeping alone, I’ll wear a T-shirt and be comfortable. If I’m with Nathan or Sam, it’s a toss-up. I’m either in my birthday suit or some flimsy scrap of lace or silk that might be ripped by morning. I never know with my guys.

Let’s bare it all and chat about what to wear

First, what is your name and how old are you?

My name is Magpie Muse MacKenzie. Muse was my mother’s maiden name. My brother and sister also have that middle name. I am forty-three years old.

What is the time period in which you live?

    Present day.

Considering the role you play in society, what is expected for you to wear?

I love living in Joshua, Arizona, an 1800s mining town turned ghost town turned hippie haven and now an artsy tourist town. I own Magpie’s Mercantile. Considering the town and my shop, I am free to wear anything I like, which is casual clothing.

Do you make your own clothing?

No, I don’t sew, but my best friend Phaedra does. I sell some of her designs in my shop. I adore her embroidered blouses and jackets. They go great with my jeans, leggings, and long skirts.

Tell us your favorite thing to wear.

I’m most comfortable in my knee-high leather boots in the winter and strappy sandals in the summer, jeans or skirt, and a pretty blouse or sweater.

What do you wear to sleep?
