My muse asked me for at least twelve books, and I plan to fulfill her wishes.

I’ve just completed the eleventh story, introducing a new FBI agent and his family background.
What characters are the main stars in your series?
There’s FBI Agent Nicolas Hayes and his demanding lover, Jacklyn Hollander. They’re living in a loving D/s relationship so their playtime in part of the story. Then there are other agents on the FBI team, such as Jason Beckham, Nicolas’s partner and also his best friend. Another important character is the quite unusual Agent Matthew Montagna, who’s always good for a prank, a man with a very optimistic and humorous look at the world.
What is the overall theme in this series?
The FBI agents are working in the violent crime unit, which means they’re dealing with serial killers, brutal bank robbers, and other hardcore criminals. The team sets out to investigate and bring the criminals to justice. In their private lives, the agents try to make ends meet—may it be with Jacklyn’s bondage games to play or Matthew’s search for a new lover. Jason has just become a father and has completely different problems…

Developing the characters. When my muse and I started out, we loved Nicolas and Jacklyn so much (and their interaction with the FBI buddies and other friends they share) that we continued with book #2 right away. There are many crime stories to tell, but there’s always room to let the characters grow, find their way, make friends or enemies… It’s fascinating to see their love deepen even though they live through stressful times.
What other books (not in this series, have you written?)
I wrote several Science Fiction stories and a second thriller / erotic romance series, that one dealing with Diplomatic Service bodyguard Ethan Mahoney, his wife, and his team that protects the Secretary of State both on domestic and international travels.

A killer on the loose, an FBI-agent in love, and a famous actor in danger.
After three murders in the Washington, DC, vicinity, the FBI Agents Hayes and Beckham are assigned to solve the case. Although the murders seem incoherent at first, it becomes clear that there are connections between them. It turns out that the murderer is far from having reached the end of his deadly list.
Aside from the investigation, Agent Hayes has to find a way to get on with his demanding girlfriend and her challenging love games. Can he do both and not lose himself?
This is the second book in the series with Nicolas and Jacklyn. Nicolas is an FBI agent dealing with capital crime, but the story also contains quite a unique erotic romance, including Jacklyn’s preference to tie her boyfriend up. That means the novel is rated R for sure.

It’s late, he’s bored. What does he do?
Go for a run, watch a football game and have a beer to go with it. However, if Jacklyn is home, there’s no time for boredom because she doesn’t even know how the word’s spelled. LOL.
What kind of food would he impulse buy if hungry?
Anything that keeps him going. When on a stakeout, he can’t be picky about food. So, from sandwich to fries to cake, anything goes—maybe not at the same time…
Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.
Sporting shoes and jeans, shirts that show off his muscles. He’s quite proud of his body, and he knows that his girlfriend likes the show of strength even more.
Does he know how to fix things?
He knew how to fix Jacklyn’s car when it broke down on the highway. That’s how they met. I wouldn’t call him an apt handyman in general.
He tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.
Dancing. He tried, he failed miserably, and he never tried again. Whenever Jacklyn brings up the subject, he turns away, claiming he’s got two left feet which might or might not be true. Who knows?
How does he act around children he doesn’t know?
Careful. In his profession, he’s learned to deal with any kind of people, but he’s especially careful around children.
What is he like first thing in the morning?
Slow, tired, and grumpy—very much unlike Jacklyn, who’s bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when the sun’s up. Of course, this leads to interesting moments when they meet in the kitchen for the first cup of coffee…
Can he use chopsticks?
The necessity to use them has not yet occurred, so I don’t know.
Does he drink coffee? If so, how does he take it? If not, what does he drink instead?
He’s addicted to his partner’s special brew, a rare and expensive brand from Brazil, with a drop of milk (to not ruin the taste…)
Beard or clean-shaven?
Clean shaven. Always. And not only his face.
Earrings/piercings/tattoos or unadorned skin?
According to FBI rules, he’s not wearing any jewelry and didn’t have the urge to have a tattoo. So it’s just him.
Personal vehicle or public transport?
Personal and certainly a service car while he’s on the job.
Recycle or toss?
Recycle whenever possible without stressing the necessity.

As long as the ideas keep coming, I would like to continue writing because I’ve come to love the main characters. Book six – Barred Doors – will be published this spring, and I’m currently working on number nine.

Nicolas Hayes is the FBI agent in charge of the investigations, a man true to his words, strong and resilient in his job. He loves his girlfriend, Jacklyn, dearly. And while he’s an independent character on the job, he’s her submissive in the bedroom. As you can imagine, Jacklyn’s a strong woman who knows what she wants.
What is the overall theme in this series?
Nicolas and his partner, Jason Beckham, are working at the FBI, investigating major crimes, such as serial killers and bank robbers. The side stories deal with the private lives of both agents.

Cold RageWhat did you like best about writing this series?
When you plan to write more than one novel with the same main characters, you have time and space to develop the characters. You have time to let them grow and change. For example, in the first book, Nicolas comes to know Jacklyn and doesn’t know that she’s a mistress. He doesn’t know anything about bondage games. He’s hesitant at first, but she convinces him slowly and with his consent, that this kind of love making can be truly fulfilling. In the second book, they spent a lovely weekend together, and she introduces him to a range of bondage games that leave him breathless in every kind of the meaning.
What other books (not in this series, have you written?)
I wrote another series years ago dealing with a bodyguard of the Secret Service, Ethan Mahoney, and his wife, Jazmin. I also wrote several Science Fiction books, for example a trilogy named Living for the Act, in which women have taken over the government on a planet and try to reconstruct a society that is torn by war and the loss of fertile men.
