5 Easy Questions: Ines Johnson Pleasure Hound @ineswrites #RLFblog #erotic

    The Pleasure Hound
Ines Johnson author of The Pleasure Hound (Part One) answers
five easy questions to help readers get to know her better.

    Author Bio

Ines writes books for strong women who suck at love. If you rocked
out to the twisted triangle of Jem, Jericha, and Rio as a girl; if you were slayed
by vampires with souls alongside Buffy; if you need your scandalous fix from Olivia
Pope each week, then you’ll love her books!
Aside from being a writer, professional reader, and teacher,
Ines is a very bad Buddhist. She sits in sangha each week, and while others are
meditating and getting their zen on, she’s contemplating how to use the teachings
to strengthen her plots and character motivations. Ines lives outside Washington,
DC with her two little sidekicks who are growing up way too fast.
    What is your go-to meal
    when you dine out?
Fish and chips. It’s really hard to mess up.
    Who is your “book
boyfriend” (that hottie you read about and drool over)?
I have the biggest book boner on Kristin Cashore’s Po from “Graceling.”
He’s a gentle warrior. I love the interplay of those polar opposites.
    What’s your favorite hashtag
    to watch on Twitter?
    #amwriting
    Tell us about your favorite
    toy as a child.
I loved my Jem and The Hologram’s pink Roll’s Royce. I’m beyond
psyched that the live action film is coming to theaters soon.
    What are your hobbies?
If I’m not reading, I’m hiking. Reading transports my mind to
another place. Hiking transports my body to another place.

    About the Book

    Genre: Erotic Romance
    Author: Ines Johnson

    Daughter of Valor
    by Emily Mims
Emily Mims author of Daughter of Valor answers five easy questions
to help readers get to know her better.
    What’s your favorite
    down-home family style meal?
Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and black-eyed peas
    Describe the perfect
    vacation.
A road trip! My husband and I like to pile in the SUV, set
the GPS (or not) and go where our curiosity takes us, having destinations in
mind but at the same time the freedom to stop and explore if we see something
    that interests us.
    What are your
    hobbies?
I play four instruments and perform in two bands, a dulcimer
band that plays old Appalachian folk music and an all-ukulele band that plays a
    mixture of fun numbers
    When you read for
pleasure, what kind of books do you choose?
    Romance novels-what else?
    What kinds of things
do you read when you’re researching a new book?
Wow-that depends on the book. For ‘Daughter of Valor’ and
its two accompanying Lunchbox romances, I Googled everything from prostheses to
IED and RPG explosions to grenades to paraplegic sex. I also do hands-on
research. For my next book, ‘Never and Always’, I learned to make soap.

    Author Bio

Author of twenty romance novels, Emily Mims combined her writing
career with a career in public education until leaving the classroom to write full
time. The mother of two sons and grandmother of three, she and her husband Charles
live in central Texas but frequently visit grandchildren in eastern Tennessee and
Hawaii. She plays the piano, organ, dulcimer and ukulele and belongs to two performing
bands. She says, “I love to write romances because I believe in them. Romance
happened to me and it can happen to any woman-if she’ll just let it.”

5 Easy Questions: Daughter He Wanted – Kristina Knight @AuthorKristina #RLFblog

    The Daughter He Wanted
    by Kristina Knight
Kristina Knight author of The Daughter He Wanted answers five
easy questions to help readers get to know her better.

    Author Bio

Once upon a time, Kristina Knight spent her days running from
car crash to fire to meetings with local police–no, she wasn’t a troublemaker,
she was a journalist. Her career took her all over the United States, writing about
everything from a serial killer’s capture to the National Finals Rodeo. Along the
way she found her very own Knight in Shining Cowboy Boots and an abiding love for
romance novels. And just like the characters from her favorite books, she’s living
    her own happily ever after.
Kristina writes sassy contemporary romance novels; her books
have appeared on Kindle Best Seller Lists. She loves hearing from readers, so drop
    her a line!
    What is your go-to meal
    when you dine out?
Chicken Fajitas! We eat a LOT of Mexican food and authentic fajitas
are the best…but even the fajitas made at chains like Max & Erma’s are amazing.
    Mmmm…now I’m hungry.
    Describe the perfect vacation.
It would include a warm-but-not-suffocating beach, RadioMan,
probably a strawberry daquiri. Plenty of family time with bebe, but also plenty
of Adults Only time, too. :D
    Tell us about your favorite
    toy as a child.
Gosh, there were so many…the one that always makes me smile,
though, is my first pair of ‘real’ roller skates – you know the kind that were actual
boots, not those plastic-y, stretchable skates that fit over my shows. Oh, I skated
    everywhere that year.
    What are your hobbies?
I love swimming, in fact I teach a class (aqua aerobics and deep
water run) at our local Y. And travel, although I don’t think I travel enough to
actually call that a hobby, lol.
If the hero of your latest
book called you on the phone, what would be a perfect ringtone for him?
Gonna Wanna Tonight by Chase Rice. Alex, my hero, is kind of
coming back to live in the book and this fits him. For a long time he hasn’t wanted
to do anything and now it’s all coming back and he wants everything…

    About the Book

The Daughter He Wanted, Contemporary Romance, Kristina Knight,
    R
    The Daddy Surprise
Since the loss of his wife, Alex Ryan has been living a half-life.
But with one phone call, Alex discovers he’s the biological father of a four-year-old
    girl…and everything changes.
As far as single mom Paige Kenner is concerned, it’s a nightmare.
She wanted a family without the man. Now suddenly there’s Alex, who desperately
wants to be a father to her little girl. A gorgeous, kind and committed father.
Letting a stranger into their lives is far too dangerous-especially if his presence
stirs a part of Paige that she longs to forget…

5 Easy Questions: Anne Kane author Love and Wishes @annekane #RLFblog #fantasy

    Love and Wishes
    by Anne Kane
Anne Kane author of Love and Wishes answers five easy questions
to help readers get to know her better.

    Author Bio

Anne Kane lives in the beautiful Okanagan Valley with a bouncy
Jack Russell terrier, a cantankerous Himalayan cat, a bossy little calico and too
many fish to count. She spent many years trying to fit in and act normal, but finally
gave up the effort. She started writing romance, and her fate was sealed when she
won a publishing contract with Red Sage Publishing and just a month later Changeling
Press accepted her first submission. Since then she had published more than thirty
stories in a variety of sub-genres, all with a happily ever after.
Her hobbies, when she’s not playing with the characters in her
head, include kayaking, hiking, motorcycles, swimming, skating, karate, playing
guitar, singing and of course, reading.
    What’s your favorite down-home
    family style meal?
You know I live on the west coast of Canada, and up here wild
Salmon is fairly common. You can catch a nice one by standing on the bridge in the
middle of town and dropping your line into the river. These aren’t little fish!
A side of one can feed at least six people. My favorite way to cook them is to slather
maple syrup on a side of salmon and barbeque wrapped up in tinfoil with some lemon
slices. A nice fresh garden salad, picked that day supplies the veggie component
and some baked potatoes with sour cream, bacon bits and green onions finish the
meal off. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!
    Describe the perfect vacation.
The perfect vacation is a jaunt somewhere exotic with my sister.
We live far apart and rarely get to see each other so one year we decided that each
spring we would meet somewhere in the world and have a vacation together. We’ve
been doing this for the past five years, and absolutely love it! It’s wonderful
to have a travel companion that you get along with, and we’ve been to lots on amazing
places. Come to think of it, it’s time to start planning our trip for this year.
    What are your hobbies?
I have way too many hobbies. I sing in two choirs, play guitar
and piano, hike the mountain trails with my dog, kayak in the river (yup, same one
the salmon came out of) putter in the garden, and read lots and lots of books. I
also swim, skate and practice karate.
    When you read for pleasure,
what kind of books do you choose?
I think I’ve read darn near anything at one point or another!
Romance, murder mysteries,.fantasy, science fiction, contemporary, and autobiographies
of famous people. It depends on what mood I’m in, or what caught my attention when
I was in the book store or browsing in the online bookstores.
If the hero of your latest
book called you on the phone, what would be a perfect ringtone for him?
Definitely the James Bond Theme song!

the eve of the biggest Sci-Fi convention in the known universe, she makes a wish.
Now it’s up to Doug, the sexy troubleshooter from the Wishes Gone Wrong department
of Wishlabz Inc. to make sure it comes out right. Because a wish gone wrong can
