It’s late, she’s bored. What does she do?
Steal a cookie from her secret stash (she has a 5-year-old so as all mothers know to have a cookie when one is wanted there must be a secret stash), then she curls up with a book. She loves romance suspense.
What kind of food would she impulse buy if hungry?
A vegetable pizza. She wants to be sort of healthy for her son
Describe the kind of clothes she prefers to wear.
She’s an oversize flannel shirt and leggings all the way
Does she know how to fix things?
A butter knife and hammer ;-)
She tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.
She runs an animal rescue reserve. She needed to build a holding area for 2 serval cats that were going to come and live on her reserve. She had the housing she just needed to get the fencing up. And it had to be totally enclosed. And it’s November (she lives in Wisconsin so it’s cold). And her then 4-year-old wanted to ‘help’. She told him to go inside the small house and make the beds for the cats. He’d be out of the way and warm. After struggling with the wire with cold hands. She finally gets the enclosure done – it’s totally self-contained with only a small hole for the food and water. She’s proud of herself. She calls her son. He comes out of the house. Proud of himself also for the beds he made. She then realizes she has NO way to get him out….
How does she act around children she doesn’t know?
She loves all children. She welcomes school groups to her reserve.
What is she like first thing in the morning?
She would like a quite time with her coffee and a doughnut but her son prefers coloring and cheerios while singing Down by the Bay
Can she use chopsticks?
Nope. She’s tried and decided after trying to using them and flipping a wonton through the air and hitting a stranger in the eye with it that it would be best to stick with a fork.
Does she drink coffee? If so, how does she take it? If not, what does she drink instead?
She loves strong black coffee

I live in the cold Northern Michigan (the place of four seasons – they lie! It’s just different levels of winter) with my husband. Our children have begun their own adventures, and just as I got into the swing of empty nest, then my grandson came to live with us. Now I’m doing 7 again… they argue everything just case you forgot.
