Do you write more than one genre? If so, what are they?
I write contemporary romance, filled with heart, heat, and (of course) happily ever after.
How do you come up with ideas?
Sometimes an idea comes from a snippet of a conversation I’ve overheard (I’m an expert eavesdropper!), sometimes from a TV show or movie, and sometimes characters just plot right into my brain without any warning at all.
What is the single most important part of writing for you?
The creating part. I love developing an idea or character and then taking that idea or character and putting him (or her) into the absolute worst situation…and seeing what happens from there!
When did you write your first book?
The summer between 5th and 6th grade. My friends and I decided we’d write books that summer. I decided to write a girl power version of the Three Musketeers. They gave up about midway through the first afternoon, but I’ve been writing ever since.

Leather or lace? Leather (lace itches!)
Black or red? Black (because, leather!)
Satin sheets or smooth cotton? Ooh…satin, please!
Ocean or mountains? Ocean, all the way!
City life or country life? Country, although I’d like to be close enough to the city to drive in for special dinner or events.
Party life or evening at home? Evening at home – with someone special, of course!
Dogs or cats? Dogs! Snuggly puppies, lazy elder-dogs…they’re my favorites!
