Connie and Sara go on a cruise with their detective boyfriends. This is the first time Connie is on a cruise. Even though she was reluctant at first, she quickly settles into their suite. This trip was about relaxing and not worrying about solving murders. However, as Connie and Brett are making their way to their room, the elevator door open to a staged dead body. Once again, the women are on the case. Will they be able to solve the case before they become the next victims?

Let’s bare it all and chat about what to wear

First, what is your name and how old are you?

I’m Connie Acosta and I’m 55 years old.

What is the time period in which you live?

Thank God in the present.

What is considered “appropriate” for someone of your gender to wear?

I don’t know what’s appropriate for a 55 year old woman, because I wear exactly what I want to wear. I feel comfortable wearing jeans and leggings.

How do you feel about wearing that type of clothing?

Leggings are the best. Can’t get anymore comfortable. In the summer, I love wearing sundresses.

Considering the role you play in society, what is expected for you to wear?

What I wear, is generally up to me. I bake and when I deliver my cookies trays, I’m generally wearing leggings with a long shirt/sweater.

Ever required to wear something you don’t like? Tell us about it.

Yes. On this trip, I’m required to wear a dress/gown with shoes in the formal dining room. No one wears gowns in this day and age and I felt like my grandmother on “The Love Boat.”

Do you make your own clothing?

Hey, my thing is making cookies and other baked goods. I don’t have anytime to make my own clothes.

Mending and laundry are chores for anyone. Do you do it or someone else?

I do my own laundry. I’d hate to have someone else touch my intimates. Mending means I go out and buy something new.

What determines the type of clothing you buy? (example, money, fashion, job)

Money determines what store I go to. But since I’m baking most of the time, I don’t go overboard in buying designer clothes.

When you wear something different, who’s the first person who notices?

My boyfriend Brett. He always knows when I bought something new. If it’s not shoes, it’s perfume.

Tell us your favorite thing to wear.

In the winter I love wearing jeans and sweaters and in the summer sundresses and dressy flip-flops.

What kind of shoes or boots do you wear?

I absolutely love boots and shoes. I have them in every color. My closet looks like a shoe warehouse. But my favorite boots are my black thigh highs. And shoes, I don’t have a favorite. I love them all!

Does what you wear make you feel good, or do you dislike it?

I feel great when I get dressed up in what I call my play clothes.

When others see you what is their first impression?

People find me as a warm and friendly person. I always dress up when I leave the house.

How do you feel about that impression?

I’m not too concern about what other people think. Some people put on a good show and when you get to know them better, they are horrendous.

What do you wear to sleep?

Don’t laugh. But in the winter, I’m sporting around in my flannel pajamas and the summer I wear pajama shorts and T-shirt. When I’m with Brett, I go bare!

Ever dealt with a “wardrobe malfunction”? Depending on your era, you might need to ask your author what this means.

Thank heavens no.

Does anyone help you dress (other than a lover)?

Nope.

What would you wear to avoid attention?

I’d dress completely in black.

What do you wish you could wear?

I wish I could wear and get away with a skin tight dress.

Tell us what your author wears when writing about you.

My author is always dressed, mostly in jeans. But if you look at her feet, you’d find her wearing slippers.
