Author Bio

Anneka Ever is a romance author.
Her contemporary love stories are set in the mountains and small towns of
Virginia. Her strong heroes and independent heroines explore their passion
against the beautiful backdrop of rivers and forests.

An award-winning poet and short
story writer (under her other name), Anneka brings a fresh perspective to
stories of dating and relationships. She is a member of the Romance Writers of
America. She lives in Virginia with her husband and three dogs.

What’s your favorite down-home
family style meal?

When my mom was alive, I loved most anything she cooked. One
of my favorites would have to be pork tenderloin, fried green tomatoes, cooked
wild greens, and corn bread.

Who is your “book
boyfriend” (that hottie you read about and drool over)?

Ricardo Carlos Manosa AKA Ranger, from Janet Evanovich’s
Stephanie Plum series. He’s mysterious, rich, and a little dangerous. He’s the
ultimate Alpha male!

What’s your favorite hashtag
to watch on Twitter?

I don’t watch hashtags but I do like Nathan Fillion. http://twitter.com/NathanFillion

When you read for pleasure,
what kind of books do you choose?

Mysteries. Literary. Old favorites. I read The Lord of the
Rings at least once a year.

What kinds of things do
you read when you’re researching a new book?

I use the Internet for most of my research. I read books on
the subject I need to learn. I also interview people who have expertise in
their field if it’s pertinent to my book.
