    Dark Stranger a new #pnr #shifter romance by @lisacbooks #RLFblog #PNR

This quick interview includes info about the author, and
    introduces the story.

    About the Author

Lisa Carlisle is a USA Today Bestselling author of romance
and suspense. She loves stories with dark, brooding heroes and independent,
caring heroines. Lisa feels very honored to be a multi-published author since
she’s wanted to write since the sixth grade. Her travels have provided her with
inspiration for various settings in her novels. She backpacked alone through
Europe, and lived in Paris before returning to the U.S. Now she lives in New
England with her husband, two children, a cat, and many fish.

    Interview with Lisa Carlisle

    Why did you write
    this book?
Dark Stranger is part three in the Chateau Seductions
trilogy. The manager of the art colony is a loyal companion to the owner of the
chateau, Antoine. Since Cameron was first introduced in book 1, Dark Velvet, I
knew he deserved his own story. How did he end up working for a supernatural
being on a remote island when he is human? How does he feel about the
    isolation?
With the wolf shifters coming to the island and his wariness
of shifters from an earlier altercation, I wanted to see what would happen with
him paired up with one of them. And oh my, the forbidden attraction is hot!
Especially when Nadya resists the idea of her mate being human.
    What is your favorite
    genre to read?
Paranormal romance, especially shifter romance at the
    moment.
    Who is your favorite
character from fiction (not including your own)?
I’m a sucker for dark, brooding characters. My favorites are
Dracula and Heathcliff, and if we’re including movies, Darth Vader. I’ve always
had a bit of an obsession with him.
    What are you working
on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I’m finishing up a short story with one of the characters
from the Chateau Seductions series. Also, I’ve started book two in the Highland
Gargoyles series, the follow up to Knights of Stone.
    Please tell us about
    your latest book.
Dark Stranger is part 3 of the Chateau Seductions trilogy
    Wolf shifters come to Chateau
seeking a missing pack member. During an altercation, Cameron Stevens, the
manager of the art colony, is separated from the others. He ends up alone with
Nadya, one of the female shifters.
Together, in the forests of DeRoche
Island, they struggle against conflicting feelings. In addition to battling
each other as well as their mistrust, they fight a powerful, inexplicable
attraction to one another—one that leaves them irrevocably entwined.
    They’re mates? Cameron can’t
comprehend or accept such a thing is possible. They’re two different species
and their worlds don’t mesh. He can’t fight the heated desire burning between
them and her touch is impossible to resist. His heart and mind aren’t on the
same page where she’s concerned. One thing is certain—Nadya is stamped on both.

    Just My Type a new #vampire #romance by @AllieRitch #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces
    the story.

    About the Author

Allie Ritch is a multipublished author of sizzling scifi and
paranormal romance. She has an active imagination and enjoys entertaining others
through storytelling. Allie lives in her own little world in the Southeastern United
States, where she spends time appreciating the ocean and sunshine.

    Interview with Allie Ritch

Why did you write this book?
Just My Type is the second book in my Vampire Territory series.
After writing the first book, Drinking Partners, I knew I had other characters demanding
to have their stories told, and Eryx pushed his way to the forefront for book two.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I love paranormal romance and sci-fi romance equally, which is
why I write in those genres too.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including
    your own)?
Do I have to pick just one? Because I’ve got a lot of favorites.
Right on the spot, though, I’d have to say Nix from Kresley Cole’s Immortals After
Dark series. Or Eve Dallas from J.D. Robb’s In Death series. Or Rhage from J.R.
Ward’s Blackdagger Brotherhood series. Or… Yeah, it’s hard to pick just one.
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you
    in coming months?
I’m working on the rest of the Vampire Territory series, so keep
an eye on my blog and/or Twitter feed for announcements about the next release.
I can tell you that book three features Jaide, the only female warrior among Alex’s
    guards.
Please tell us about your latest book.
There’s trouble in vampire territory, and Melody is right in
the middle of it. A new arrival from Eastern Europe named Taspar Tong is out to
take over her masters’ domains using the army he has at his command. Mel is a personal
assistant, not a soldier, and big male vampires scare her.
That includes Eryx, the dark-haired warrior who is always watching
her and baiting her with his remarks. If only he didn’t look so sexy. Mel figures
Wess Gage–their human captive–is a far safer love interest, although Wess is part
of the Human Rebellion bent on exterminating all vampires. Can he really see past
his prejudice, or will he turn on her?
There are two dangerous men in Mel’s life. She just has to decide
which of them is her type–the one who makes her feel human again, or the vampire
    who makes her blood boil?

    Author Bio

general fiction for nearly a decade. In 2012 she strapped on a new name for a new
genre and jumped head first into writing erotic romance.
Anita Cox’s erotic debut series Dirty White Candy was picked
up by Liquid Silver Books in 2013. In 2014, she became a Director for the Erotic
Author’s Guild. Her altruistic nature found its purpose, assisting other erotic
authors with issues specific to the genre.
Genres/subject matter you can expect to see from Anita: Contemporary,
Ménage, Erotic Romance, Paranormal Romance, Erotic Suspense and all things naughty.
    What’s your favorite hashtag
    to watch on Twitter?
Because I find the 1st Amendment very important, I watch #notchilled
    Describe the perfect vacation.
I get to take the perfect vacation every year. The husband and
I rent a small cabin and spend an entire week on a lake. There’s no cell phone reception,
no television, no laptop. It’s just us having a ton of fun and relaxing as we escape
the insanity of day-to-day life. We may or may not be competitive about the actual
    fishing part.
    Tell us about your favorite
    toy as a child.
Outside. I know, that’s not very exciting but I enjoyed playing
outdoors using my imagination. I grew up on a family farm and played with my cousin
daily. I was usually Spiderman and he was a random bad guy. I don’t know how I managed
not to get impaled by rusty metal while “scaling” barrels and anything
    else I could find.
    What are your hobbies?
Fishing remains my most favorite hobby. It has been an excellent
skill to teach my daughter and try to teach my son ( who doesn’t care how to tie
a proper fisherman’s knot.) I also really enjoy gardening. Next to making babies,
it’s the best way to create life.

the story. Join the author’s Facebook party on Feb 21st for fun and giveaways.
What happens when a sheltered cat-shifter and a dark fey come
    together?
Three-hundred years is a long time, but left to its own devices,
what began as the vendetta of one man can grow to encompass even more formidable
    hatred.
Daitre Salons is a beautiful but naïve heiress whose true heritage
has been kept secret even from her. Now, her abilities are emerging and her father’s
enemies want her dead, but what bothers her most is that her new husband “in
name only” insists on treating her like a child.
Joban Beaucoup, professional guard to the Salons family, and
dark fey (alternate spelling from Vodouin origin), has chosen to leave the quaint
yet suffocating French town of his orphan-childhood and venture to the Americas,
but he needs one thing he cannot concoct, despite his magical abilities: a wife.
When Joban agrees to marry Daitre and take her to the Americas
with him, he carries her three-thousand miles away, then whisks her three-hundred
years into the future to assure her safety, but while Daitre struggles to adjust
to this strange new world, manage her newfound powers, and make peace with her feelings
for Joban, Joban learns that even here, their enemies have followed them, now more
    deadly than ever.

Ley Lines: Ruled by the Moon @TheGoddessNaomi #RLFblog #PNR

    Ruled by the Moon
    by Naomi Bellina

    By Naomi Bellina

I’m minutes away from hopping on a plane leaving St. Louis Missouri.
I’ve been visiting my mom and sister and I’m waaaaaay past ready to go home. For
one thing, I’m freezing my butt off! Time to get back to Florida. I grew up in St.
Louis and I knew without a doubt, it was not the place I wanted to spend the rest
of my life. Now before you St. Louis dwellers start blasting me for picking on your
city, let me say, there are many wonderful features of this area. Fans love and
support their sport teams, for sure. St. Louis offers a wide variety of good food
and entertainment, a fantastic highway system, nearby wineries to make you drool
and the most beautiful autumns you’ll ever see.
But not for me. I longed for something more in whatever place
I lived. I can’t describe what that something was, but knew I’d recognize it when
I felt it. In Ruled by the Moon, magical people such as witches and werewolves are
drawn to Nocturne because of powerful ley lines that run through the area. I’ve
always been fascinated with ley lines so I did some research and found they could
very well be running through my fictitious Midwestern United States town. Check
    out this Google
page for some great maps of ley lines. They’re everywhere! According to Wikipedia, ley lines are
“…supposed alignments of numerous places of geographical and historical interest,
such as ancient monuments and megaliths, natural ridge-tops and water-fords.”
I believe they’re spots that contain certain kinds of power.
On this visit to St. Louis, I checked in to see if I could feel
energy from that strong line running through Missouri. Nope. At least not anything
I could pick up. Or maybe, the energy that flowed was exactly what I found unpleasant.
Maybe it affected me on some level I wasn’t even aware of. I live in Florida now
and though there are many qualities I love about this state (it’s soooooo much better
to be here in February), it’s still not quite my perfect home. I’ve always been
drawn to mountains and after a recent visit to Taos, New Mexico, would love to explore
    that area. Maybe one day.
How about you? Do you have a place that resonates with your soul?
Thank you so much for visiting today.

    About the Book

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
A psychic vet, a secretive werewolf, a menace stalking the shifters.
    Welcome to Nocturne.
Dylan is a werewolf with a problem. He shifts at the new moon
as well as at the full moon. He was born a werewolf, not made like most shape-changers
and due to these unique traits he’s avoided joining a pack and has given up hope
of having a normal life. Morgan is a veterinarian, ready to be on her own for a
good long time after leaving a cheating, spineless husband. She has a plan for her
life that doesn’t include a bossy, furry man.
Both are drawn to Nocturne, a town filled with magic due to a
strong convergence of ley lines in the area. Morgan and Dylan recognize a connection
when they meet, but neither one is looking for romance. After a harrowing encounter
with a panther shape-shifter, they must combine forces and work together to uncover
a menace that threatens the town. If they can learn to trust each other and let
their guard down, they have a chance to solve the mystery and open the door to love.

    Bucket List: Harriet – Knights Vampire @kryssiefortune #RLFblog #vampirelove

    Knights Vampire
    by Kryssie Fortune
The bucket list interview allows a hero or heroine to tell readers
about himself or herself. Today’s list is from Harriet Mortlake.
    Age: 22
    Gender: Female
    Birthplace: Leeds
    Profession: Archivist
    Welcome to Romance Lives
Forever. Your author introduced you. Now we’d like to get to know you better. Please
    tell us about yourself.
I’m nothing much really. I’m tall, almost six foot, and sadly
about ten pounds overweight. I don’t think there isn’t a diet I haven’t tried, or
    failed to stick to.
I’ve got a bit of a temper too. My dad used to hit mum, and I’ve
inherited my temper from him, I was twelve years old when I found him beating on
her in the kitchen. I was so angry that I hit him on the head with a frying pan
and dragged my mother off to a shelter. Mom’s convinced I saved her life that night,
but I’ve never lost my temper like that since. I daren’t. It scared me.
I have a first class degree in library studies. I was lucky to
land this job at Whitborough Castle straight from university. If the last two archivists
hadn’t vanished, and I could have shaken the “someone’s watching me” thing,
it would have been my dream job.
    When someone dies, we
say they “kicked the bucket.” Therefore, a list of things that a person
wants to accomplish, places to go, situations to experience, and so on have become
known as a “Bucket List.” We’d like to know yours, please. If you haven’t
made one before, perhaps now would be a good time. Who knows? It might inspire another
book. While you’re at it, how about telling us about some of your other favorite
    things? Here are the questions.
    What are two places you
would like to visit before you die, and why?
I want to sail up the Amazon and see pink dolphins. They sound
amazing. Maybe that could my honeymoon trip.
I’d like to visit Jerusalem too and follow in the steps of the
crusaders. There’s something romantic about the Knights Templar or the Knights Hospitaller.
My personal favorites are the Knights Defender though.
Where is a place you would
never like to return, and why?
The hidden dungeon beneath Whitborough Castle. I can smell the
stale urine and feces just thinking about it.
I didn’t much like university life. I was too geeky to fit in.
Shall I tell you a secret? I got angry when my one and only boyfriend told me I
was frigid. I tossed his clothes out the window and shoved out into the dorm’s corridor
    stark naked.
I suppose the worst place ever was my childhood home. Dad was
a bully who liked to make me cry.
    Who is someone you would
    like to meet, and why?
Can you imagine a real live knight defender let loose in the
21st century. I don’t mean some geeky re-enactor. Imagine a genuine knight with
the muscles to swing a broadsword and the courtly grace of Queen Eleanor’s courts.
    Wouldn’t that be something?
Oh, did you mean someone real? I’m actually a bit of dreamer,
but maybe Julian Richards. Never heard of him? I’m geeky, but he’s the archeologist
come media presenter who did an in depth study of Stonehenge. Mum bought me his
popup book of Stonehenge before she died as a spoof gift, but it’s one of my most
    treasured possessions.
    Who is someone you would
    like to avoid, and why?
Real or fantasy? I wouldn’t care to meet Blaxton’s wicked cousin
Rolf again. He’s got a vicious streak a mile wide. He wanted to create his own vampire
army and take over the world. Human life means nothing to him.
    If you could time travel
to any date, what would it be, and what would you do there?
I’d love to go back to the 1180’s when Peter de Ferrers built
Whitborough Castle. He had three sons back then, and I’d love to meet all of them
    before Cousin Rolf murdered them.
    What is your birth order?
I’m not sure I understand the question. I almost answered Sagittarius
then it struck me you were asking about my family. I’m an only child, an orphan
now, and I still miss my mum.
I was born fully human. Obviously I’m different now.
    Tell us about your favorite
    toy as a child.
I had this teddy but my dad through it out in a fit of temper.
I never really got attached to anything else. It hurt too much. I was the kid who
lived in the library and read every book they possessed.
    Describe your favorite
    food and how it’s prepared.
Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. A rare steak with a
mountain of freshly fried chips, fried onion rings and side salad sounds good too.
    Tell us about your best
    friend.
Blaxton de Ferrers. He’s my everything. We talk for hours and
never get bored. He was alone for centuries, but we’ve just discovered he has friends
in Zurich. I just love to see him smile. Oh, did I say he’s a billionaire property
developer with a philanthropic streak and a former Knight Defender?

    About the Author

I could read before I could walk – or so my mother says. I definitely
loved books, but at that stage I probably liked to look at the pictures. I do remember
a lovely old-fashioned library with parquet floors and filing cabinets with a card
index. I really loved that place.
Jump forward to my adult years. Two children and happy marriage
later, my heart valve collapsed. After a terrible prognosis and an amazing surgeon,
I’m strong and tough again. However, it was time I reached for my dream and started
to write that book I’d been going on about.
Fortunately Loose ID liked it. I’m grateful for their support.
Knights Vampire is my fifth book, and I’m really proud of it.
