Jeremy is usually found brooding somewhere beneath the stars, whether it’s up on a water tower or down in the wastelands, he usually has something heavy on his mind.
What kind of food would he impulse buy if hungry?
He can’t afford to be picky in a world ravaged by disaster, but he hates slimy things in jars.
Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.
The darker the better, but after the Ruiners become clamped to his arms, shirts are no longer an option!
Does he know how to fix things?
Jeremy is better at breaking things, but he can get by with very little.
He tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.
What HASN’T gone badly? He was born under a bad sign and things have gone down from there, but he still can’t deny some of his problems are his own fault.
How does he act around children he doesn’t know?
Jeremy doesn’t really have experience with any kids other than Kit, and she is no ordinary little girl…
What is he like first thing in the morning?
He’s used to getting up early, so he’s not any more irritable than usual (thankfully)!
How does he act around people who don’t know what he is?
He prefers that people don’t know the truth about him, but it’s been hard to escape. When he first met Kayla, she was blissfully unaware of his darkness and that drew him to her.
Will he let a worker handle things or do it himself?
Jeremy’s not afraid to get his hands dirty!
Earrings/piercings/tattoos or unadorned skin?
The cross tattoo across his chest wasn’t his idea and he’d get rid of it if he could – but it was part of the deal if he wanted to become an Arch.
Personal vehicle or public transport?
He prefers to rely on himself, so things were better when he had his motorcycle. Sharing that truck with the pirates was definitely a low point…
Recycle or toss?
Toss – his world’s so messed up already, he doesn’t think such a small gesture would make a difference.

Why did you write this book?
Gerall’s Festivus Bride is the seventh book in my Fairelle Series of Fairytale Retellings. The second book in the series is Snow the Vampire Slayer and she has 7 brothers. Each of her brothers is getting their own book. 2 are already in the series and this is the third. I wrote Gerall’s next because I love him as a character. He is gentle and loyal and smart. On the quiet side, but first in line to defend the right and stick up for the little guy.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I love Fantasy. I also love Paranormal romance :)
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
That’s a tough one because there are so many. Tanis and Tasslehoff from DragonLance. Jack from Pillars of the Earth. Loki and Hulk from the comics. Scarlet Witch.
What are you working on at the moment?
I have 3 books in my dystopian Vampire series that I am finishing up edits on to release in the next month. I am also working on the next Fairelle book as well as a Contemporary Christmas Romance.

Please tell us a little about yourself.
Something about me seems to intimidate guys. Could be my sarcastic attitude. That’s what my friend, Carrie, seems to think. And she’s right. It’s my defense mechanism.
Who is the significant other in your life?
Never in a million years thought I’d fall for a guy like Rhys. Quiet, capable, keeps to himself. He takes his job seriously…even to the point of blaming himself when things go wrong, the way I did when Dad died. Only one problem. He treats me like an unwanted responsibility. Every time I try to get to know him better, he clams up and starts acting like commando man. And it goes downhill from there. I let him get under my skin..
What special skills do you rely on?
Lara and her father spent a lot of time in the woods while she was growing up. Hunting, camping, fishing.
What do you have a knack for doing?
Lara’s stubborn. She won’t give up on something she believes in.
Is she close to family?
Lara had no brothers or sisters, and her mother died when she was very young. She and her father were very close.
How do others perceive your character based upon looks? How true is this assumption?
In the book, her best friend Carrie refers to her as the redhead with a killer figure, and she’s spot on.
If someone from your character’s past showed up, who would she most want it to be, and why? OR who would she most NOT want it to be, and why?
Lara would give anything to see her father again. They argued just before he died and she’s never gotten over it.
Can your hero keep a secret? If not, why not? If yes, why?
Lara can keep a secret. Something important has been planted in her memory. She has no idea what it is, but she refuses to let someone pick her brain to find out. Especially someone who will use the information for all the wrong reasons.
What inner doubt causes your character the most difficulty?
Lara doesn’t realize how strong she really is.
What is your character’s biggest need at the beginning of the story?
Lara needs to forgive herself. She’s not responsible for her father’s death.
What would help your character face hardship and meet any challenge?
If she knew how Rhys truly felt about her, she’d have the strength to do anything.
How does your character express disappointment?
She gets angry.
Who in his life has the power to hurt this character the most? Why?
Rhys . Because Lara cares about him.

I’m stronger than I thought.
What makes your writer the most sad?
It makes her sad to think me losing my father, but she’s happy that I came to terms with his death.

She loves words and how they can paint a picture.

Cobal’s father is chieftain of the clan, and Cobal was supposed to follow in his footsteps until he realized his future lay in another direction.

Why did you write this book?
The great Aidan Kerrigan was a tale I feared to write. When he first appeared in the story, Dragon Knight’s Medallion, Order of the Dragon Knights, Book 2, I panicked. I did not know he was a Fenian Warrior until he walked through the crowd of people at the airport to greet his daughter, Aileen. His presence loomed mighty and grew with the previous stories in the Legends of the Fenian Warriors. Regardless, I knew then that his and Rose’s love story had to be told.
With each Fenian Warrior’s story, I shared a layer about this Fae. Little did I know when I penned his first line of dialogue that he was the leader of the Fenian Warriors, came from royalty, and his sister was Queen of the Fae realm.
He chose not to reveal any of this to me. And this is why I became terrified. What more could he share? Well, dear readers, Aidan made it simple. He told me to write a love story, stating, “For you see, love is greater than all the power attained in the world—be it human or Fae.”
Therefore, I took you back in time to when he was the leader of the Brotherhood—Fenian Warriors. To when this great warrior had no blemish to stain his life and love tossed his world upside down.

Historical fiction and non-fiction novels.

Jamie Fraser from Outlander.
What are you working on at the moment?
A new paranormal historical series set in medieval Scotland and the Orkney Islands.

No. Pretty much the exact opposite end of the province.

Of course. I have the complete works of several of my favourite authors.

Never is such a strong word. I try not to be late. I really do try, but sometimes time just gets away from me.

I write romance contemporary, paranormal and fantasywith a bit of history woven in. There are also cozy mysteries and YA fantasies. I have several non-fiction books, two were written are with doctors. One is a book on writing written with Jane Toombs.
How do you come up with ideas?…
Ideas are like leaves falling from the tree in autumn. Having ideas for new stories is no problem. The problem lies in how to write them all.
What is the single most important part of writing for you?…
What a hard question. I can’t find one part of the process from idea, to characters, to plot and to the many drafts that I don’t enjoy.
When did you write your first book?…
I wrote my first book in 1970 and saw it published in 1972 after many rejections with suggestions to make it a better book/FUN

She has been married for 60 years and has four children. The youngest is an adopted bi-racial daughter. She has seven grandchildren. Among her hobbies is Astrology that she uses in devising her characters. She writes romance, contemporary, paranormal and fantasy. She also writes cozy mysteries and YA fantasy.
