A Double Feature post gives readers two books at once, a featured spot on the front page for the author, and front page on the blog’s Pinterest board.

Love…when you least expect it.

As a teenager in DC, Livia tagged along with her Daddy to Redskins games and explored the rich history of our country, then she moved to the bayous of Louisiana where the weather and culture of this region inspired her writing, including her storm faerie, Tempest and her military heroes. Livia’s many jobs as mail lady, salesperson, plant manager, business owner and professional singer are the conduit her characters have used to relate their stories to her. Think of her as her characters’ biographer! Down by the bayou she is protected from the alligators and bears by her husband and feisty Pomeranian, Dusty.

Ridge, Book 1

Famous fashion model Lana Maisel could have had her choice of men. But she left that life behind at the ripe old age of twenty-four to pursue her dream of a photography and production studio and now she needs one man to be the face of her franchise. The Calloway women in Buffy’s life have always said “when you meet the man you’re going to spend the rest of your life with, you’ll know.”

Ridge Romano didn’t know what possessed him to get on stage during a strip bingo contest. He’d been in D.C. testifying before a Congressional committee on veterans issues, then he’d followed the gorgeous redhead off the elevator… and here he was… up to his Special Forces tattoo in manure.

Blame it on the Moon by Livia Quinn @liviaquinn #RLFblog #paranormalLove…when you least expect it.

D.C. native, Livia Quinn, lives and writes by the bayou in Louisiana. She’s written eleven books in her Storm Lake series, both paranormal and military romance. While working as a plant manager, computer trainer, mail lady, professional singer, and small business owner she stocked her brain full of great characters and fodder for her stories and is eager to share them with her readers.

Blame it on the Moon

It’s the height of the Para-moon and Sheriff Jack Lang is up to his ‘6’ in alligators. Defending those weaker than himself is in his DNA which is what drove him to become a Navy pilot. Now, who is he kidding? Alligators he could handle! But supernatural bad guys?

Ragtag doesn’t begin to describe his band of temporary ‘heroes’. If he has to go to war with the group that showed up at dawn, he might as well start cutting up white sheets and attaching them to garden stakes.

With Tempe and the other Paramortals ill or incapacitated and the sudden appearance of beings he’s never heard of, will Jack be able to keep Destiny out of the hands of their enemies for the rest of the power down and—very important—keep the humans in the dark? It’s only twenty-four hours. If worse comes to worse, he has a dragon on his side and a few surprises up his sleeve. “Yippe, ki, yi…”

But a lot can happen in twenty-four hours and things don’t always go as planned.

Take These Broken Wings

Blame it on the Moon by Livia Quinn @liviaquinn #RLFblog #paranormalStrap in ’cause it’s a wild ride through Destiny, or should I say Middle Earth…

Five months ago, Sheriff Jack Lang would have sworn there was no such thing as vampires, tempestaeries, djinn or dragons. That was before he met Tempest Pomeroy, his sexy redheaded mail lady and trouble magnet. He’d fallen for her before he found out about her “special abilities”. But that wasn’t what turned his life upside down. No, to say Jack’s world had gone FUBAR was like saying Wolverine’s fingernails were long enough for a manicure.

Tempe had been afraid her supernatural nature would be a problem for Jack, who’d mistaken Destiny for a “Mayberry-like” small town, but that didn’t explain why he’d left her in favor of haunting the highest levees in the parish. Sure, he’d received a shock, but what was it going to take to get him to return to his life and to her? A stubborn man is one thing; a grumpy, depressed twenty-ton dragon was a bit more of a challenge.

Blood Moon, book 6, will be available for preorder in July.

Discover Authors and Books #RLFblog #authors #books @kayelleallenThe banner on Romance Lives Forever says, “Discover Authors and Books with Kayelle Allen” and this is the second blog where that has appeared. Today’s post is the first official “new” article on the second. The first blog was on our origin site on Blogspot. I pledge to continue helping readers find good authors and good books, in that order.

Discover Authors and Books

To discover an author one can enjoy reading takes time. I’ve sampled books on Amazon, joined sites that promise sales and freebies, spent time cruising around booksellers, bookstores, and talked to friends. I read. I read every single day. I am always on the lookout for an awesome new book. So believe me, I am serious when it comes to helping you discover authors and books on this site.

To discover a book, one must know the genre. On this site, a drop down menu allows readers to immediately find books by their genre and/or subgenre. Click Romance in the menu and subgenres drop down. Point to each to see if there are subgenres below those (for example, Romance>Military>SEALs). Look under Science Fiction and you’ll find Immortals, Science Fiction Romance, and Time Travel. There are other subgenres as well. Poke through the menus to discover more. Whatever you like to read, if RLFblog doesn’t have it yet, we likely will. Leave a note in the comments about what you’d like to see.

Authors, speaking as one of the breed, I want you to feel at home here. I pledge to do my best to make it easy for you to share your books and stories. If you have questions or issues, just email me. I’ll get back to you ASAP. Get downloads, check the schedule, or sign up for a new spot by clicking the “Guests + About RLF” menu. There’s a simple privacy policy listed and a note about how we use cookies under the “Privacy and Disclosure” menu. My hero, Pietas, has a few choice words to say about the uselessness of cookies and all the warnings we offer about them. He’s not what you’d call famous for his sense of humor (after all, he is known as the Bringer of Chaos) but I have to say he pulled out all the stops on a deadpan delivery for this one.

Now, I’ll get out of the way and let you start discovering. Enter the name of a genre, author, or book in the search box (upper left corner) and see what comes up. Cruise through the site and check out the author and character interviews. If you’re an author, go to the FAQ page and see how easy it is to sign up (you can pick your own dates) and begin sharing your books here.

If you’re new, welcome! If you’re a previous follower, welcome back!

The Romance Lives Forever blog moves from Blogspot to Wordpress May 17, 2017. If you hate moving as much as I do, you’ll be happy to know all the heavy lifting will be done by professionals. Your part will be to grab a favorite drink, sit back, take it easy, and come read the posts in beautiful new surroundings.
Once the move completes, all posts currently on the Blogspot version of Romance Lives Forever will appear on the new site also. On the Blogspot site, a note at the top will redirect readers to the new WordPress location. Links on original posts will remain active, and all posts will remain on the Blogspot old blog while also appearing on the WordPress blog.
Want a sneak peek of the new blog? It’s under construction so it doesn’t look now the way it will when it opens. But here’s a peek: Go ahead. I’ll wait. Okay, welcome back! Do you want to know more? Here you go.

For Readers

On the new site, you’ll have a listing of authors so you can find your favorite. Each book will be listed by name and by genre. Author interviews will have their own home and so will character interviews. As always, you’ll be able to leave comments, share posts, and find great books. The new site will be available on Kindle, RSS, email, and other programs.

Sharing and Reach

The current feed from the blog to Triberr’s blog-sharing
system will reroute to the new site, ensuring an unbroken link to Twitter and
Facebook outreaches. As always, social media share links will appear on each
post. Genre specific areas will allow you to post your book in the
area it best fits. A new registration system is already in place. We now use SignUp Genius, which lets you confirm your own date and sends you a reminder as well. A new interview system is being prepared. Old favorites such as Character Interviews, 5 Easy Questions, and so on will be available. Overall, the site will be easier to sign up on and will draw even more readers. The current reach is over 3 million. I expect that to increase rapidly.

Cover ads

A cover ad costs $5 for one month. Thre is a discount for multiple months. A quarter year is $12, and a year is $48. Double feature is $10. Prices will remain the same until the end of 2017.
If you buy one year of ad space between now and the end of June, you’ll get an additional three months free. Fifteen months of ads would normally cost $60, so it’s a savings of 20%. You can change covers as often as once a month. Please click the PayPal button on the right side of the blog to order, or email me to request an invoice.

Carlson doesn’t understand the ache in the hollow of his chest, since his

quick-tempered, sexy blonde. He can’t allow her tight jeans and sweet smile to
sway him, even after he’s coerced into spending time alone with her.
Fighting the torturous battle going on within his own mind and body, he can
either deal with it—or succumb to the woman who appears to be everything he
didn’t know he needed.
In an attempt to
save her rebellious teen sister from herself—as her guardian, Brenna Page
leaves everything behind and moves to Canyon Junction, Arizona. When she
unexpectedly meets a hot-headed cowboy with intense blue eyes and muscles to
die for, the first thing she wants to do is get away. Since she can’t seem to shake
him, Brenna wonders if that same grudge-filled cowboy with an attitude is
someone worth taking on. But still dealing with painful memories, and a sister
who wants nothing to do with Arizona, the last thing she needs right now is a
