Please tell us a little about your character.
She’s a mother and wife hiding a lot of secrets from her family. She has had a rough few years starting when she was seventeen years old. She’d rather not dwell on her past. She’s currently taking classes toward her Master’s in biochemisty. She loves science! If someone from your character’s past showed up, who would she most want it to be, and why?
Hailey would love for her first-born son to show up in her life. She gave him away when she was eighteen.

About Your Writer: Questions for your character to answer about you.

To honor the person who chose to share your story, please answer at least four of these questions. Questions with more than one point should be considered one question. You may answer as many more as you like.
What do you wish your writer had not told others about you?
I can’t believe my writer wrote about my traumatic teenage years. How embarrassing! It’s hard enough keeping my past from my husband and in-laws. Now the whole world knows the torture I’ve endured. Ugh!
Why do you think your writer loves to write?
I think C Becker likes to cause friction in my relationships. She utilizes my personality and background to create a compelling plot.
What do you wish your writer would write next?
I wish C Becker would focus on how happy Mark and I are after this story ends and stop digging into our secrets. I would imagine a great romance blossoming with no conflict. Ah. If only life was that easy…
What other character from your book do you think your writer should write a book about? Care to tell us why?
I would like C Becker to write a story about Parker, let him find happiness. I’ve know Parker since I was seventeen. The guy deserves someone who can love him. Parker reminds me of the man who loses everything and walks off into the sunset. I wish David would find someone, too. He needs a woman who can put up with his big personality.

Meet Dan Morgan from The Man of Her Dreams by Dee S Knight @DeeSKnight #RLFblog #PNR #psychic

Meet Dan Morgan from The Man of Her Dreams by Dee S Knight @DeeSKnight #RLFblog #PNR #psychicWelcome Dan from The Man of Her Dreams, an erotic paranormal romance.

    Meet Dan Morgan

    Age: mid-30s
    Gender: Male
    Birthplace: Greenwood, South Carolina
Profession: Maker of fine, handcrafted furniture
    Ethnicity: American, Southern male
Please provide a physical description of Dan.
Am I allowed to say Dan’s handsome as all hell and leave it at that? No? *sigh* Okay. Dan has blue eyes and brown hair that could stand a trim. He’s about 6 feet 2 inches and pretty muscular. He used to be on the San Francisco police force and he’s kept that lean, mean attitude that still shows in stern expressions and confident swagger.
Please tell us a little about your character.
Dan was on the SFPD for years, working homicide until he moved home when he’d had enough death and political bull. He loves his mama and her twin sisters, his house on the lake, fried chicken and hush puppies. And he loves his peace and quiet, which is why he resented Cassandra Hudson poking her nose into his town and his life. He’s a badass and rude when he has a mind to be, but there’s no one better to have on your side when badassery is needed.
Who is the significant other in your character’s life?
Cassandra Hudson, a beautiful, self-proclaimed psychic from California. She shows up, meets Dan by accident and says that she’s there to find him and warn him of a danger to his life. He’s not impressed.
    How does your hero dress?
Casual clothing, jeans and tee shirts while he’s working or fishing, slacks and button-down shirt when he’s out.
What are the qualities of his voice? (pitch, quality, volume)
Rich baritone that drops to a low growl when he’s aroused. He has a decided drawl with soft vowels and a slow cadence that mesmerizes Cassandra.
How educated is this character? Is he book smart, self-taught, widely-experienced?
He attended the University of South Carolina, but got his real education on the police force in San Francisco. That’s where he learned to read people and how to handle himself.
Does he scrape by, live comfortably, live extravagantly?
Dan makes custom furniture and earns a very good living from it. But what he really cares about is fishing, being with family, and his friends. He loves his town and being able to live life as he wants.
What special skills does your character rely on?
He hasn’t forgotten the skills he learned on the force. So he keeps a sharp eye on his environment, continues training with his revolver and hones his rifle skills with hunting during the season. He also knows where to find the best fishing on the lake and how to fry up his catch. Fine furniture making takes patience and steadiness, as well as a good eye, and Dan has all of those, which explains how he can make such a good living at it.
What is your character’s family like?
Dan’s father is dead, but his mother is still alive and living with her twin sisters in Abbeville, a few miles from Greenwood. His mother is justifiably proud of him, as are his aunts, Birdie and Delia. Birdie and Delia are a hoot! I based them on my mom and her twin sister, who we call the Twin Tornadoes. The nickname fits, as it would for Delia and Birdie. All three ladies are Southern, through and through, which is a characteristic I love.
    Is he close to family?
    Absolutely! Very close.
Does this character see morality as black-and-white, or with shades of gray?
Like many police officers, Dan sees black and white. He’s not a very flexible man in that regard.
What is your hero’s biggest personal flaw?
His inability to bend or see anything beyond his experience.
Why is Dan so unwilling to believe Cassandra?
In addition to the police’s general distrust of psychics, he had a case where the psychic misled the parents of a missing child and the child turned up dead. He has no use for things he can’t logically explain.
If Dan doesn’t appreciate Cassandra’s “gift,” what does he like about her?
Of course, she’s beautiful. And he comes to see how honest she is and sincere. His mother and aunts like her, which is important. And she has real talent—she’s a renowned artist, in both paint and textiles. Since he makes handcrafted furniture, he admires creativity in all its forms.

About Your Writer: Questions for your character to answer about you.

To honor the person who chose to share your story, please answer at least four of these questions. Questions with more than one point should be considered one question. You may answer as many more as you like.
Why do you think your writer chose to write about you?
Dee has a vision of the perfect man and I’m it. Haha! No, really, she had Cassandra in mind first and needed a good foil. So she created a hardnosed, irrationally rational, badass—me. And I’m perfect for Cassandra in every way, both as a nemesis and a lover.
What do you wish your writer had not told others about you?
How mean I was to Cassandra at the beginning. It’s not something I’m proud of and my mama would be real disappointed in me if she knew. Which of course she will if she reads this book. Damn.
Was there anything your writer discovered about you that was a surprise to one or both of you?
Turns out, I have something of a kinky side. I sure as hell never knew it about myself, but I guess Cassandra brings out every aspect of me when it comes to making love. I was surprised but fortunately, neither Cassandra nor I are unhappy about the discovery.
What do you wish your writer would write next?
I think Dee like paranormal, so I believe she should write more of them. She added Passionate Destiny to her paranormal collection, but she should do more.
Is there anything you’d like to say to your writer?
Thanks for opening my eyes to Cassandra’s gifts as well as he beauty. You’ve made me a happy man!

Introducing Amy Mills from A Different Side of Perfect (#2), by Karen Cino @Karencino #RLFblog #WomensFiction Contemporary RomanceLet’s meet Amy Mills from A Different Kind of Perfect (Book 2), a Women’s Fiction Contemporary Romance, by Karen Cino. Welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about the story your author wrote.

A Different Kind of Perfect ( Book 2) by Karen Cino

    Genre Women’s Fiction Contemporary Romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): PG13
It is the grand opening of The Perfect Pitch. All the pieces fall into place until Francine’s diagnosis of breast cancer, throwing their lives upside down. While Amy and Jason deal with the reaction from her family to their interracial relationship, Toni finds herself in another overbearing relationship with Pelicans third baseman Gary Thompson.

    Introducing Amy Mills

    Please tell me about yourself.
    Age: 39
    Gender: Female
    Birthplace: Staten Island, New York
    Profession: Real Estate Broker
    Ethnicity: Irish American
    What do you look like?
I am average height and weight with shoulder length blonde hair that I can wear either as its natural curls or straightened, along with big green eyes.
Who is the significant other in your life?
Jason Maddock, who is everything I ever wanted in a man.
What kinds of things do you always carry (in pockets or purse)?
The question should be what don’t you carry in your purse. Besides the usual: wallet, sunglasses, lipstick, tweeter and cellphone I always have a notebook, calculator (yes I know there’s one on my cell, but I am a bit old fashioned) a half a dozen pens, a tape measurer and a mini flashlight. Yes, my handbag is heavy!
    What is your family like?
I’m lucky to have both my mom and dad still with me. They live in the same house that my mom grew up in. My dad always called us the three musketeers.
    Are you close to family?
We were a tight knit family. We did everything together. When I was younger, we went to church every Sunday, sitting in the first row and after mass we would go out to the diner for breakfast with a few of the other parishioners my parents were friendly with. I became closer to my dad as I got older. My mom was great but she was very opinionated, always giving me the negative aspect on things, whereas my dad was always positive.
Can you keep a secret? Why or why not?
You bet. In The Perfect Pitch, when Francine, Toni and I found the hidden basement, it took everything in my power not to reveal the secret, despite how dangerous things turned out. It was important to all three of us that we keep this a secret until we found out what it was all about.
    What is your biggest need?
I’m looking for acceptance from my mother in my relationship with Jason. I need to keep my independence and not lose my identity by being in Jason’s shadow.
How emotionally expressive are you to others?
To strangers, I give them nothing. I’ve always been like that for as far back as I can remember. My best friends Francine and Toni can read me like a book. They can read through any expression on my face and also by the tone in my voice. Now with Jason a part of my life, I have opened the emotional door to him. But generally, I’m a private person.
What would you like to tell your writer?
I love the life you have given me. My only wish would be that you wouldn’t have let me mother be so hard on my relationship with Jason, which is putting a strain on my future plans. I love my friendship with Francine. She is such a wonderful friend. I would love to have my own book. I’m here if you need any ideas.
What would you like people who hear your story to know?
The first thing is to never give up on love. Once you find that one person who makes you happy, don’t let anyone defer you because of their views.

Meet Eve Star from Only a Good Man Will Do by Dee S Knight @DeeSKnight #RLFblog #romance

Meet Eve Star from Only a Good Man Will Do by Dee S Knight @DeeSKnight #RLFblog #romanceWelcome Eve Star from Only a Good Man Will Do by Dee S Knight, a new erotic romance.

    Eve Star

    Age: 30
    Gender: Female
    Birthplace: Chicago, IL
    Profession: Manager of a bar
    Ethnicity: American
    Species (for scifi/fantasy characters): Human
Please provide a physical description of your character.
5’10”, long, chestnut colored hair, it’s naturally wavy no matter what she does to it. She has brown eyes, and a nice figure—large breasts, full hips and very narrow waist. She’s been told by uncounted men that she’s beautiful and desirable, but she shrugs and says, “I’m just me.”
Please tell us a little about your character.
I left home early on. Never got a degree though I graduated from high school with good grades. Ended up stripping in order to pay rent and found that I kind of enjoyed it. Someone mentioned that money was better in Europe, so I scraped up enough to get myself to Berlin and started off. Before I knew it, I was a huge success, making more money than I could have imagined. I met a few men, too, but none like Luigi. He gave me a home in Florence and then he gave me a son. Then…he took everything but my son away. That’s how I ended up back in the States, managing a bar in small town New Hampshire. I’ll do whatever it takes to care for Timmy and to see that he gets the best I can afford.
Who is the significant other in your character’s life?
Damn if I haven’t fallen for a teacher at the school where Timmy goes, Daniel Goodman. He’s a snob at times, and full of himself, but he’s really a reflection of his name: a good man. I love him fiercely, but he told me sup straight from the beginning, he needs a wife who can fit the role of headmaster’s wife, and that can never be me, not with my history. For now, I’ll take what I can get from him because, well, I love him.
    How does your heroine dress?
She made a lot of money dancing in Europe and she didn’t skimp on clothing. So for work at the bar she wears tight jeans and an open collared blouse—better tips . When she takes Timmy to Westover Academy, she dresses in the classy and stylish clothes she brought from Paris and Milan.
How educated is this character? Is she book smart, self-taught, widely-experienced?
She has a high school diploma but didn’t go to college. She’s life-smart, having learned by hard work and not always in the best of conditions.
What is your character’s viewpoint on wealth? Not necessary, nice to have, important, obtain at all costs?
The man she thought loved her in Italy was wealthy and he treated her to a beautiful house, jewels, fine food—everything she might have wanted. But when he kicked her out for getting pregnant, she discovered true wealth is only good when it provides for and protects those you love. Now she’s happy with what she has: enough money to pay for her son’s schooling and live reasonably well. She’s happy with that.
What special skills does your character rely on?
She knows people, can read them. And she’s very persuasive. She has a clever mind—she tells Daniel that she thinks through chess moves five and six ahead, so she’s strategic and uses that to her advantage.
What is your character’s family like?
    Is she close to family?
She is not close to her mother. There’s no word about her father. But she has her child, Timmy, and that’s all the family she needs. All she’s likely to have since Daniel has made it clear that they’re friends with benefits only. She knows she could call on him if she needed help, but is he family? No. Not that she doesn’t dream…
    Does she have children?
A son, Timothy Knowles. Knowles is Eve’s real name—Lauren Knowles—but she’s used her stage name for so long, it feels like who she is. Timmy is six and attends Westover Academy as a residential student. Eve has recently become afraid that if she keeps him home she’ll hover too much. But she longs for the weekends when she can pick him up and spend time together.
Does this character see morality as black-and-white, or with shades of gray?
Eve definitely sees shades of gray. She doesn’t consider herself a bad person because she lived with Luigi and eventually had his child. How could anything that gave her Timmy be bad? That doesn’t mean that she doesn’t recognize a mistake when she makes one. Like falling for Daniel, another man who might want her as a mistress but nothing more. How could she have been so foolish? But was their lovemaking immoral? No, not in her eyes.
If someone from your character’s past showed up, who would she most want it to be, and why? OR who would she most NOT want it to be, and why?
Eve truly would NOT want to see Luigi Donatello, Timmy’s father. If he showed up, it would only mean trouble. He made it clear when he tossed her aside that he was finished with her. His arrival back in her life would mean disaster for her and especially for Timmy.
Can your hero keep a secret? If not, why not? If yes, why?
Absolutely! In her life away from Westover Academy, she is known as Eve Star. Anywhere around Westover she is the fairly well to do, Lauren Knowles. She wanted the best for Timmy, and to Eve, that means enrolling Timmy in Westover. For that to happen, she keeps two personas—and the secrets that go along with the subterfuge.
If your character could make any one thing happen, what would it be?
For Timmy to grow up in a household with two parents and lots of love.

About Your Writer: Questions for your character to answer about you.

To honor the person who chose to share your story, please answer at least four of these questions. Questions with more than one point should be considered one question. You may answer as many more as you like.
Why do you think your writer chose to write about you?
Dee is used to writing about mostly happy characters. I’m not Unhappy, but I do have issues. I think that’s why she chose me to be her heroine. And she needed a more free-wheeling person to be Daniel’s foil. Gosh! I love Daniel! I’m so glad Dee chose me to be his great love.
Why do you think your writer loves to write?
She has all these stories in her head. The woman thinks about plots and characters all the time! If I wanted to have a rational conversation with her it would be difficult because she’s always going off on plot tangents for a new book. She’s impossible!
What do you wish your writer would write next?
What other character from your book do you think your writer should write a book about? Care to tell us why?
Well, I didn’t meet Daniel’s brothers until the end of our book, but I think Dee should write about one of them next. Maybe *tapping finger on chin* Jonah.
Is there anything you’d like to say to your writer?
Thank you for giving me Daniel to love! He’s the best—a true good man—and I’ve never been so happy. Timmy has a real dad now.

Tell us about Only a Good Man Will Do

Seriously ambitious man seeks woman to encourage his goals, support his (hopeful) position as Headmaster of Westover Academy, and be purer than Caesar’s wife. Good luck with that!
Daniel Goodman is a man on a mission. He aims to become headmaster of Westover Academy. For that he needs a particular, special woman to help him set high standards. Into his cut and dried life of moral and upright behavior, comes Eve Star, formerly one of Europe’s foremost exotic dancers. Her life is anything but cut and dried, black and white. Daniel is drawn to her like a kid to chocolate. Nothing good can come of this attraction. Or can it? He is after all, a good man.

    Dee S Knight Social Media

A few years ago, Dee S Knight began writing, making getting up in the morning fun. During the day, her characters killed people, fell in love, became drunk with power, or sober with responsibility. And they had sex, lots of sex. Writing was so much fun Dee decided to keep at it. That’s how she spends her days. Her nights? Well, she’s lucky that her dream man, childhood sweetheart, and long-time hubby are all the same guy, and nights are their secret. I’m six foot and because I have to work out every day, I have washboard abs. My forearms are big and the pain in my shoulder really stinks. I keep my dark brown hair short and I’m clean shaven.
    Age: 38
    Gender: Male
    Birthplace: Staten Island, New York
    Profession: Professional Baseball Player/Baseball Coach
    Ethnicity: Italian American
Please tell us a little about yourself.
I’m a professional baseball player for the New York Pelicans and have played baseball since I was four years old. Baseball is my life along with my high school sweetheart, now wife Francine.I’m easy going and it takes a lot for me to get mad.
Who is the significant other in your life?
My wife Francine has been with me since the beginning, through my ups and down in my early baseball career. She is the heart of my life and makes certain to be at every home game I pitch. And yes, I can hear her voice in the crowd yelling my name!

    For the Author

    How do your hero dress?
When Richie isn’t dressed in a baseball uniform, he is in jeans and a button down casual shirt.
What is your character’s viewpoint on wealth? Not necessary, nice to have, important, obtain at all costs?
He likes to live comfortably. He has a nice house, bought his parents a house but feels that money can’t buy happiness. He loves the holidays where he can buy toys and books for children in need. Money is essential for an easy lifestyle, but not necessary for happiness.
What is your character’s family like?
His family is nuts but he love them to death. His mom and dad live close by and his mom is always coming over with food. She doesn’t understand that he is eating a lot, but the extreme workouts keeps him thin. But through the ups and downs his parents are always there for him.
Is your character involved in his community?
Richie is very involved in the community. He attends high school events and during the off season he goes to grammar schools to talk to the kids. He visits nursing homes and hospitals, hoping to bring joy into children and adults lives. He is always available for no appearance charge for neighborhood fundraisers.
How do others perceive your character based upon looks? How true is this assumption?
Fans treat him like he’s some sort of God. The girls/women throw themselves at him, calling him hot and sexy.
Does your character care about those assumptions?
Richie takes the time to interact with the fans and kindly turns the women down. He feels that if he weren’t a baseball player he wouldn’t be getting this much attention.
What is your character’s biggest need at the beginning of the story?
Richie needs to get through the game and hope that he didn’t do any damage to his aching shoulder.
What is your hero’s biggest hopes and dreams?

If your character could make any one thing happen, what would it be?
Richie and Francine wants so much to have a child. That would be the one thing in his life that he wants and feels is missing.
What is your hero’s biggest personal flaw?
Richie is a perfectionist. If he doesn’t have a good game and his pitching is off, he is hard on himself.

About Your Writer: Questions for your character to answer about you.

To honor the person who chose to share your story, please answer at least four of these questions.

Why do you think your writer chose to write about you?
The writer loves baseball and is impressed with pitching, especially that her daughter was a softball pitcher since she was seven.
What do you wish your writer had not told others about you?
I would have appreciated if she didn’t show others that I’m still a mama’s boy.
Was there anything your writer discovered about you that was a surprise to one or both of you?
It was a surprise to me that I was able to handle having shoulder surgery and dealing with the outcome.
When your writer is writing about you, what do you think makes your writer the most happy? What makes your writer the most sad?
I feel the writer loves to see me happy and loves seeing me on the pitcher’s mound. Having an argument with Francine and having Francine doubt my love for her, puts a frown on my writer’s face.
Why do you think your writer loves to write?
I think she likes writing about real issues and finds writing as a way to display her underlining emotions.
What do you wish your writer would write next?
I wish she would write another story about me dealing with my family years later.
What other character from your book do you think your writer should write a book about? Care to tell us why?
I’d like to know more about Toni. She was a a corky character that I would love to know what she’s up to.
Is there anything you’d like to say to your writer?
I’d like to thank her for creating me into a good guy, who is so full of love and compassion. She choose a great friend for me in Jason. I wish her the best of luck as she continues to write and create more characters.
From Karen Cino: How did you feel about Francine keeping the secret about the restaurant basement from you?
I have to say I have never gotten so mad at Francine like that before. I was so worried, after the fact. I couldn’t believe she kept that big of a secret from me. But I didn’t let that mar our relationship. Francine and I never sent to sleep mad at one another.
