Crescent Creek Series ~ 3 books

My sister was all the family I had. She was taken from me and now, someone wants me dead, too. Not sure why.

I’m sure I’m not going to give my life up, though. I’m not going to let them get away with my sister’s murder.

The new me will try, anyway.

You see, when she was alive I could live in brightness and peace. Now I have to accept the darkness within me. After all, isn’t life about balance? Ironically, the man who can teach me how to embrace the shadows is broken, hopeless, and angry. Mark is also the only one I trust to lead me through my heart’s night, and back into the light.

The one I trust to keep us alive.

A favor to a teammate: pick up two girls in trouble, take them to the Team’s safehouse. Should have been easy. It was not.

Then someone killed one of my team, one of my brothers. Now it’s personal.

They want me, too.

They want me, too. I can deal with that. But they want Ann. The only person who cut through me, who woke me, who grabbed my hand and guided me back into life one smile at the time.

I’ll be damned if I let them have anything.

Not. One. Damned. Thing.

From NY to sunny Miami, Ann and Mark run into a maze of lie, betrayal, and death, where love is the only, terrifying certainty. And when truth unravels, they will have to risk all to survive.

And Guns for Angels, with it’s riddle-like nature, took a lot of preparation and research.

some characters in this book are not human? (pets for example)

All human.

Beach bum and country music addicted, Viviana lives in a small Floridian town with her husband and her son, her die-hard fans and personal cheer squad. Stay A Little Longer by Bernadette Jones

Coming Soon! Stay A Little Longer, a new romantic suspense by Bernadette Jones available at the end of May 2020

Genre Romantic Suspense

Death didn’t frighten Gage Ewing. Living scared the hell out of him.

The innocent one died. I lived. Where is the justice in that? I’ve spent every day since trying to save others. No matter how many I heal in the hospital or on the streets, I can never be forgiven for that one death. I don’t deserve a family, a home or one moment of happiness.

Then she walks into the Wild Card and I’m filled with need, hunger. Hope. But my past is coming. Can I walk away before I’m the death of another innocent?

Ivy (IrishMist) Vaughn studied the glass of liqueur that she’d been named after and contemplated her lack of a future. She’d been fighting to stay alive since the age of twelve. Trained with warrior skills to be whatever they asked of her. Trained to kill.

No permanent home. Living out of a duffel bag. Changing personas at the ring of a phone. I’m lost. I’m struggling to make sense of my life. I’m tired of fighting everyone else’s battles. All my friends have died. I want to quit. I want a little normal. A little happiness. A little…love.

Will they let me walk away?

Why did you write this book?

Gage Ewing had some scenes in Sleepin’ Alone and I fell in love with his tortured soul. He tried to run, he tried to hide. Trouble was, he was running from himself. When I caught him staring at the Blonde. I knew he had a story coming.

What is your favorite genre to read?

Romantic Suspense

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

Only one? Gabriel Sinclair, from Double Dealing by Jayne Castle (aka Jayne Ann Krentz) Sneaking in a second. Paris Sweeney from, Now You See Her by Linda Howard

What are you working on at the moment?

I’m writing Owen Strong’s story with a goal of having it out in the fall of 2020.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

Owens story is next in fall and Deke’s story is tentatively scheduled for the end of this year. I also hope to publish the first book in my Bound by Honor series. Titles are very important to me, but they also have to resonate with the characters and the readers so they take me a while. As soon as I have titles I will update my website so stop by often.

Bernadette Jones Social Media

Bernadette Jones has been making up stories since she learned to read on her daddy’s lap. She has imagined casts of characters everywhere she’s called home: Texas, Oregon, South Dakota, Nebraska, Illinois, Massachusetts, and now New York.
Books and music filled her life as she, her dad and two brothers traveled the country. She would sit in the back seat of the car (her older brother always got to ride shotgun), listening to the current music on the radio, looking out the window and spinning a story based on a phrase or word she’d heard in the lyrics. As you can imagine, traveling the country the music changed from state to state, as did the stories. To this day she loves all genres of music, and books.
After a career in corporate writing, she’s finally decided to settled down and put pen to paper doing what she loves. Living the dream in her NYC apartment with her canine companion, she’s is bringing her stories and characters to life.

Kiss Me, Kill Me by Sayara St Clair @SayaraStClair #RLFblog #NewRelease #ParanormalRomanceSayara St Clair, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about Kiss Me, Kill Me.

Kiss Me, Kill Me by Sayara St Clair

Genre: Paranormal Romance, Romantic Comedy

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

Oh, Universe…how bad dost thou suck? Let me count the ways.

Near demise by molesting dudes in an alleyway.

Near demise by marsupial-induced car crash.

Near demise by colleague/psycho stalker.

Near demise by rogue vamps in that other alley.

Really, I should have taken my boyfriend up on his offer to turn me. But choosing to endure a liquid diet for all eternity is a weighty proposition. I mean, life hasn’t been all blood and crumpets for Greg since becoming a creature of the night. Then there’s the case of the only other vampire I know, who didn’t exactly take her turning like a champ.

Door Number One: retain my humanity.

Door Number Two: embrace vampirehood.

Being a scientist, I analyse things. Down to the bone. The sample size of two vampires, combined with the lack of available literature on humanity versus vampirehood, makes it impossible to accumulate any meaningful data upon which to base my decision.

While I’m busy weighing the pros and cons, the universe serves up one more heaping helping of suck–in the form of a formidable opponent determined to freeze me out (literally) and snatch away my man.

This is SO gonna hurt. I should have opted for Door Number Two sooner…

Why did you write this book?

This is the second book in the Blood Kissed series. There was more of Ana and Greg’s story to tell after completion of the first book.

It’s high time Ana stands up to the demon from her past. When I say demon, I mean stepmother. She also has to face new demons–real ones–of the fanged persuasion. And she needs to address this little thing: “To turn or not to turn.” Now that’s a question, isn’t it?

What is your favorite genre to read?

Romance. All the different types of romance.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

At the moment, my favorite is Mal Ericson from Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive series. The guy is off-the-wall crazy, but he’s hilarious and has a good heart. Love him!

What are you working on at the moment?

I’m world building for a brand new series.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

I expect it’ll be a while in the making, but the next book will be a paranormal romantic comedy from the new series. I’ll be venturing into the realm of fantasy. As a writer, I’ve not ventured there before, so I’m looking forward to the new experience.

If someone told a young Sayara St Clair that one day she would be an erotic/paranormal-romance-writing Aussie expat living in Thailand, she would have snort-laughed and yelled, “You. Be. Crazy!”
If someone told her the same thing now, she would not yell, only nod solemnly. Because that actually happened.
Sayara has a science degree, with majors in both microbiology and biochemistry. Working in the fields of serology and tissue banking, she got to do lots of cool and sometimes slightly weird stuff. She was employed as the manager/buyer for furniture retail stores, where she had a chance to unleash her inner interior decorator. (Interior design is one of her great passions.) And for a time, she taught English to students in Asia. (Hanging about in a roomful of extremely loud, pint-sized humans is not one of her great passions.) She has written ads for TV, print and radio; real estate brochures; website copy; and a screenplay. Now she’s writing fiction and has discovered it’s her favorite thing to do. She’s also learned that writing sultry romances is so much more fun than writing dry old scientific journal articles. No one has sex in scientific journal articles. Not the ones she wrote anyway.
When not writing, she may be most commonly found in a horizontal position reading, in the kitchen baking, in the garden planting, or somewhere else singing at the top of her lungs. She loves music and is prone to spontaneous bouts of dancing.
With regards to vampires and chocolate: she bites one on a daily basis and has had a lifelong obsession with the other. And she’s not telling which one’s which.
