you lost sleep while writing this book?
YES!!! Much of the story takes place in the Florida Everglades, meaning LOTS of snakes and gators and muck. There was also a ton of research since I’m a city girl.
you did research for this book?
YES!!! Sooooo much research on setting, weapons, drug running, etc.
some characters in this book are not human? (pets for example)
Yes, and I’m a HUGE animal lover, but there are no cuddly critters in this story! LOL!!

Yes–Romance/romantic suspense/action adventure
you speak more than one language?
Sadly, no. I took high school French, but made a C, because it was 1st period and I had too many tardies from going to a local donut shop before class!
you grew up where you live now?
No–I grew up in Arkansas, and now live in Oklahoma. I’m about two-hours from my hometown.
you love to read?
YES!!! Lately, I’m obsessed with audio books. I’m devouring them while playing Mahjong on my phone, but stay up WAY too late.
you are never late?
Yes–I’m hyper-punctual! LOL!
you love pizza?
YES!! Sausage and Mushroom with hand-tossed crust. But I’ll devour any variety!
you love sushi?
YES!! We have the most awesome place here in town called, Sushi Train. Booths are arranged around a model train track, and you pick the sushi plates from the train cars. YUM!!
you have a pet?
Too many! LOL! Rescue mutt–Yeti. Ancient dachshund–Coco. Yorkie–Chewie. Maine Coontail–Foxy. Ancient rescue cat–Domino. And by ancient, I mean twenty-years old!

Sleep. He runs his own business. If he’s not at work or doing paperwork at home, he’s most likely sleeping to prepare for another early morning.

He eats only clean, healthy foods, but when none of his clients are around, he will buy red bean cake from NJ Fresh Foods.
Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.
Moisture wiking or cotton clothes with running shoes for at the gym. And when he’s at home, he wears as little as possible.
Does he know how to fix things?
Yes, but he knows it’s faster to hire someone else.
He tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.
He hired a new employee for his gym. Due to his high profile clients, he checked the employees social media and ran a background check before hiring them. Everything seemed okay. But, he didn’t know the person ran a fan account, and was stalking one of his celebrity clients. That person was fired as soon as the pictures were leaked online.
How does he act around children he doesn’t know?
He tries to avoid them. But, he’s a big softy when it comes to children he knows.
What is he like first thing in the morning?
A bear. Literally and figuratively. After his protein shake, the drive into work, and a solo workout, he’s much more personable.
How does he act around people who don’t know what he is?
Pretty much everyone in Saramto is a shifter of some sort. So, he really doesn’t have to act any different.
Will he let a worker handle things or do it himself?
He’s too busy to do everything himself. He’s learned to delegate since he started his business. Though if someone is sick, he knows how to work every single position in his gym.
Earrings/piercings/tattoos or unadorned skin?
Has a tattoo. The letter R. It’s on his chest, near his heart.

I loved playing with barbie dolls. I think my fiction writing skills began then especially with dialogue as I had them all talking to each other. I had a couple of barbies, a Ken, a Midge, a Skipper, and a Tutit but I also included my brother’s GI Joe and a small Madam Alexander Doll—I can’t remember who she was, but she had a pink checkered shirt and blue overalls. She was my favorite.
What are your hobbies?
I love to read, of course. I love to hang out with my son and granddaughter. I love researching history. I love listening to Celtic music and 60/70’s folk and rock. I like watching TV and my streaming obsession right now is The Handmaid’s Tale.
