I write books. Books where romance, fantasy, and suspense collide.Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, where Spanish moss whispers tales in breezes from the Atlantic Ocean, as a child, I soaked in the sunshine and heritage of cobblestones, pirate lore, and stories steeped in savory mysteries of the South. I graduated with honors from both Armstrong Atlantic State University, and Georgia Southern University.
I live in the mountains now with my husband, but honor my southern heritage as a storyteller by sharing my romance fiction with readers.

Why did you write this book?I wrote Marmalade’s First Christmas because I wanted to share my love for all things Christmas, woven into a contemporary romance. I like to think of the novella as sort of a Hallmark movie, with extra sugar and spice.Also, a kitten adopted us last year at Christmas, an orange tabby. He’s brought so much love into our lives! I wanted to weave my sweet adorable kitten into a story. I think Marmalade steals the show.What is your favorite genre to read?I love paranormal fantasy romance, but I’m also getting into some contemporary romance now. I read broadly – historical, thrillers, and lots of non-fiction.Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?Just one…? Seriously, Kayelle – that’s a tough question!Right now I’m in love with Mirren Kincaid from Susannah Sandlin’s Absolution in The Penton Legacy Series. What an amazing character!What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?I’m writing a paranormal romance, the first in a series, where sexy agents in a supernatural police force find love while making the universe safe for humans.I also have two romantic suspense novels out on submission with my agent. My love of reading romance fiction goes back to those early years when I was raising a young family. It wasn’t until much later in life I actually took up the pen to write my first historical romance, Wind Warrior. I really don’t fit into one specific niche. Once a story starts to flow, it’s only then I know what genre/sub-genre it will fit under.I have only one regret, and that is not getting to this point in my career much sooner, rather than later. Life has a way of setting up road blocks, which for me, was supposed to work out that way.
