About the Author

Caroline Clemmons is an Amazon bestselling and award winning author of historical and contemporary western romances. A frequent speaker at conferences and seminars, she has taught workshops on characterization, point of view, and layering a novel.
Caroline and her husband live in the heart of Texas cowboy country with their menagerie of rescued pets. When she’s not indulging her passion for writing, Caroline enjoys time with family, reading, travel, browsing antiques, genealogy, and getting together with friends.

Interview with Caroline Clemmons

Why did you write this book?
My husband and I enjoy walking through and reading about Southwestern pre-historic ruins. In Garza County TX, there is a Clovis site but it’s on private property and closed to the public, the Garza site. One of the scenes in Grant Me The Moon came to me while my husband and I were driving home from Lubbock back to the DFW Metroplex and we passed through Post, the seat of Garza County. The story has nagged me for years. When Keta Diablo invited me to be in a contemporary western anthology, Come Love A Cowboy, I knew this story had to be the one I wrote.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Western romance is my favorite, but I also like other genres: Regency, WWII, women’s fiction, westerns, and mysteries.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Taylor Stapleton from Julie Garwood’s Prince Charming.
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I’m working on another of my Bride Brigade Series, Cassandra, that will be out in April and then Ophelia in May.
Please tell us about your latest book.
All Tory Fraser intended was to show her high school history club students a local archeology dig. How could she know the excursion would involve a murder? Or that one of her students would be suspected as the killer? And she had no idea she would meet the man of her dreams.
Grant Grayson has taken over management of Grayson Ranch near Post, Texas to give his grandfather a less arduous schedule. A flash flood washed away an old talus slope on the ranch to reveal a prehistoric cave that is a Clovis site. Being a good citizen, he invited the nearest large university archaeology department to excavate the cave. When a gorgeous blonde high school teacher asks his permission to take her students to the site, how can he deny her? Especially when he is instantly attracted to her as he’s never been to anyone.
Tory and Grant are drawn in to the investigation to clear her student but unintentionally make themselves a target. Now they must evade the killer to celebrate their new found love.

About the Author

Author of historical, contemporary and erotic romances, I fell in love with happily ever after the day I heard my first story. (Yes, I was a precocious little brat who read at the age of two, but I could hear much earlier than that.) I studied literature for far too many years before discovering that writing stories was much more fun than analyzing them. Heck, as an author, I get to read the story before anyone else. I am happily married to my sweetheart of many, many years. My husband and I share the home of  two cats, who condescend to allow me to feed them and clean their litter box. (The cats only tolerate my husband’s assistance when I am not available.)They occasionally permit me to pet them but demand my love and attention as their right. (Funny, my husband demands the same. Could I be married to my cats? Does that make me a trigamist?) Regardless of my specific relationship status with our cats, I am in awe of their feline ability to dominate with half a glance or a mere twitch of tail. Insatiably curious, an avid reader and traveler, I love to hear from readers about your favorite books and real life adventures. Crazy Cat stories are especially welcome. You can send me your words of wisdom . . . Don’t shake your head at me; all words are wise in one context or another. You can trust me on this; I’m an author. As I was saying, you can send your words of wisdom, humor, and friendship to me at contact@RueAllyn.com. Can’t wait to hear from you.

About the Author

Anne Kane lives in the beautiful Okanagan Valley with a bouncy Jack Russell terrier, a cantankerous Himalayan cat, a bossy little calico and too many fish to count. She spent many years trying to fit in and act normal, but finally gave up the effort. She started writing romance, and her fate was sealed when she won a publishing contract with Red Sage Publishing and just a month later Changeling Press accepted her first submission. Since then she had published more than thirty stories in a variety of sub-genres, all with a happily ever after.
Her hobbies, when she’s not playing with the characters in her head, include kayaking, hiking, motorcycles, swimming, skating, karate, playing guitar, singing and of course, reading.

Interview with Anne Kane

Why did you write this book?
I wrote this book for the sake of my sanity. Winter’s Quest is the fourth book in the Mercenaries Series. The hero and heroine met in the previous book and had been nagging me to write their story for over a year. I finally gave in just to get some peace and quiet!
What is your favorite genre to read?
That’s a tough question, but I’d have to say paranormal romance, closely followed by Urban Fantasy and Science Fiction. I’m really not much of a fan of reality J
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Not my own? Darn! Okay, it’s a toss up between Elena from Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series and Patricia Brigg’s Mercy Thompson.
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I have two projects on the go at the moment. One is a full length novel that I started for NanoWrimo last year. I made the 50,000 word count, but the story isn’t finished yet.  I’m also working on another installment of the Mercenaries Series which should be out late summer or early in the fall.
Please tell us about your latest book.
Trace wants Winter, and he’s not a man to take no for an answer.
Winter remembers all about the insanity of life as a lab rat, but what she doesn’t know is how she got there. Given the mess she’d made out of her life up to this point, she needs to find the answers to her past before she can get on with her future.
Trace isn’t sure why Winter is so hung up on her past but if she plans on chasing all over the nine provinces looking for answers then it’s up to him to make sure she stays safe. And, while they’re spending all that quality time together, maybe he can convince her that he’s more than just a convenient sex partner.

Meet Julia Bennett from Locked Box, a contemporary romance by Eve Dangerfield.

Author Bio

Eve Dangerfield has loved romance novels since she first started swiping her grandmother’s paperbacks at the age of fourteen. Now she writes her own unapologetically sexy tales about complex women and gorgeous-but-slightly-tortured men. Eve currently lives in Melbourne with her lovely sister and a rabbit named Billy. Locked Box is her second novel.

Julia Bennett isn’t having a great day. Funding for her video game is running low, her IT job is sucking her dry and to cap it all off she’s locked in a police station with the very handsome, extremely married guy she’s been avoiding at all costs. Max Connor isn’t having a great year. He’s getting divorced, his best friend is squatting in his spare room and his inappropriate crush on the IT girl is getting dangerously out of hand. And that was before he locked the two of them in an evidence room for the weekend. Surrounded by three decade’s worth of drugs, guns and floppy disks, Max and Julia are forced to confront the heat that lies between them with dangerous, funny and occasionally toe-curlingly sexy results.

Introducing Julia Bennett

Welcome to Romance Lives Forever! We’re happy to have you here today.
Name: Julia Bennett
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Brenthill, Victoria, Australia
Profession: IT woman and game designer
Describe your body and build, skin tone, height and weight. Include any unique features such as dimples, freckles, or scars.
I’m super tall with light brown hair, hazel eyes and freckles. I burn very easily in the sun and can get away with not wearing a bra, which I do almost all the time because… Why wouldn’t I.
Who is the significant other in your life?
Max Connor, I’ve been crushed out on the guy for years which was particularly painful when he was married.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
I’m a white trash girl who grew up in rural Australia. When I was a kid all I ever did was eat cheese toasties and play video games so it made sense that I tried to go into professional gaming. I didn’t have a lot of success; gaming is expensive and I’m a woman but my best friend and I are working on our own first person shooter game Scarlet Woman. I’m not great with people, especially guys, especially guys called Max Connor
What kinds of things do you always carry (in pockets or purse)?
Mints (for unexpected kissing) Condoms (for when things progress further), two USB storage devices, an external hard drive, lip balm and a bunch of unwrapped cough lollies that have merged into a superball of grossness.
Are you involved in your community?
I’m involved in my community in the sense that my sister and I adopt dozens of stray dogs and let them clog up our house and garden. This annoys a lot of our neighbors but if they complain we go around to their house with a couple of the saddest looking dogs and tell them to take them to the pound if they hate dogs so much.
How do others perceive you based upon looks, and is this assumption accurate? In the IT industry and the gaming world being a woman is a huge setback. You might think being young and I guess conventionally attractive would be helpful but it really isn’t. People think you’re stupid, that you slept you way to a job or that you don’t know what you’re doing. They also expect you to be nice which is bull. I’m an amazing coder but I’m shy and not really that nice, unless you’re already my mate or you bring me coffee.
Can you keep a secret? Why or why not?
I’m an IT person, I know so much dirt about so many people it is unhinged. Basically nothing surprises me anymore. On that note I’m good at keeping secrets, mostly by stuffing them down and pretending they don’t exist because I don’t want to be thinking about your google history when I pass you in the hallway.
How do you handle challenges?
By curling up under my duvet and eating toasted cheese sandwiches until someone else makes me take responsibility for my life. I know that sounds bad but I have confrontation issues. Unless by challenges you mean ‘gaming related challenges’ in that case I drink a shit-tonne of Red Bull and I go to war.
How emotionally expressive are you to others?
I express my emotions mostly through grunting and fixing/breaking your electronic devices. Emotions are not my strong suit. I probably shouldn’t be telling you this but I’m extremely susceptible to guilt trips. I’ll give you my kidneys if you make me feel guilty enough.
What would you like to tell your writer?
Cheers for making me look semi-cool but you really went into a lot of detail with the sex stuff didn’t you? I mean I don’t care but Max is going to be super embarrassed when he finds out. He hasn’t gotten over his whole ‘fine upstanding gentlemen don’t spank people’ thing. Also please write a sequel about my sister. Ash’s story needs to be told. To take the spotlight off me.

It was love at first sight when Devon Munroy first laid eyes on Lotte Higgins as she swam in the local waterhole.  He wanted nothing more than to spend his future with her.  He would have defied his father to do so too had she not been shot, lying bleeding and dying in his arms.
The woman he loved was dead and Devon no longer cared what was to become of his future.
Four years passed and Devon’s life had become little more than a drunken haze.  All he wanted was the woman he loved back in his life and in his bed.  When he reluctantly went to the local Hotel to spend the night with a woman, he didn’t expect her to look so much like Lotte Higgins.  He certainly didn’t expect her to turn up at his estate as his wife’s new handmaiden.
When Lotte started work at Devon’s estate, she thought only to reveal the monster who had tried to kill her four years before.  She never imagined the whirlwind of passion she would be swept up in with Devon Munroy.
Lotte knew if she were to succeed in targeting her attempted murderer, she would have to keep her true identity hidden from Devon.  Lotte wanted nothing more than to tell him the truth, but she feared if she did than Devon’s wife, the woman whom had already tried to kill her once, would discover she had survived that night.
When more bodies began turning up around the town, all brutally murdered, Lotte knew she had let things go on long enough.  She would have to tell Devon the truth about his wife and about herself and hope he loved her enough to forgive her deception.

About the Author

Faye Hall’s passion driven, mystery filled books are set in small townships of North Queensland, Australia during the late 1800’s.
Each of her novels bring something symbolically Australian to her readers, from Aboriginal herbal remedies, to certain gemstones naturally only found in this part of the world.
Each of her books tell of a passionate connection between the hero and heroine, surrounded and threatened by deceit, scandal, theft and sometimes even murder.
These romances swerve from the traditional romances as Faye aims to give her readers so much more intrigue, whilst also revealing the hidden histories of rural townships of North Queensland.
Faye finds her inspiration from the histories of not only the township she grew up in, but the many surrounding it. She also bases most of her characters on people she has met in her life.
Faye was able to live her own passion driven romance, marrying the love of her life after a whirlwind romance in 2013. Together they are raising their 9 children in a remote country town in northern Queensland, Australia.
